FK attended his party and he fed cake to FK...
Last week, we at Box Office India, told you that Aditya Dhar would make his debut as a director under Dharma Productions and the film would feature Katrina Kaif romancing Fawad Khan. The film is set in Delhi and is a love story. It starts rolling from November end.
Now we hear that the director, who was looking for an apt title for the film, has finally found one - it's called Raat Baaki. We also hear that even before the film goes on the floors, the director who is also a lyricist, has started working on the music. Since the film is a love story, the producers want it to be a musical too.
Actors are often asked uncomfortable questions, especially about their the personal lives and choices. It's a well known fact that the blue eyed actor Fawad Khan from Pakistan signs a "no-kiss" clause, while signing any film.
Recently, in a press conference held at Melbourne, actor Fawad Khan was posed a question about the cultural differences between India and Pakistan and indirectly hinting at how Bollywood boldly showcases "kissing scenes" onscreen. It was then that actress Richa Chadda, who was also present at the event decided to chip in.
Richa Chadda gave a fitting reply to the journalist and gave her lessons on historical and political discourse of the world.
Journalist continues her questions - "In all senses, especially Bollywood, may be the on screen romance or the kissing scenes or the cultures we have or the way India has adopted westernisation. Because I have a lot of Pakistani friends and when I speak to them, I get the sense that the two countries are different and Pakistan is a lot different from India."
Richa's reply- " I would like to answer that. Sorry I am cutting in. You know we were colonised by the British for a really long time. It's a part of the... I am sorry if I am offending anybody here, but if you look at worldwide history every time the British left an empire they divided it. Whether it was North Korea or South Korea then there was Germany. It is a part of the strategy to keep political unrest to sort off maintain a global kind of, I am sorry but your question to me doesn't make sense because I will have far more in common with Fawad because I am from the North of India than I will have with somebody who is a tambrahm or maybe Malyaali or from the North east. I think we should avoid stereotyping in questioning or creating some kind of contradiction here because the whole intent and especially art does really have any borders. "

Fawad to Richa - Firstly Thank you for taking a stand on my question, thats really sweet of you.
Fawad to the journalist - I think that the transition you are talking about it again has a lot to do with the silence and the wildpack generally if it goes with the trend which is now globally changing. Television has always been about ... It is even soverign in India You will feel that the onscreen intimacy in Indian films is very different or performaces or expressions are different from what they are on Indian Television. So coming back to the same thing. I think that Pakistani television has always been on the forefront and is something that is available to the Pakistanis and all the Pakistanis around the world have similar expressions and follow a certain criteria a small part of the audiences is coming to the cinemas India is very big and there is a very big population and more or less the television ads might not be correct in the Pakistani cities. But to cater to the sensibilities that you are wanting to bring to the cinema you have to accept a little curve for them and I belive that the cinema they have copied from anywhere in the world and in India as well I think thats its just a natural cycle that Pakistani cinema is also coming from. You can comment on it further dealing another thing but rightnow it is in a baseless shape.

As a true blue FK fan...i like everything in his world.
But as a critic...it sounds like C grade sleazy movie title. One of those posters...your eyes roll away from.
Picture bhi baaki...mere dost.
So let me not assume :-)
Looks test
Sidharth was last seen in Kapoor & Sons, in which he co-starred alongside Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. Ever since then, rumours about the competition between two good-looking' actors have been doing the rounds.
"I think there are so many other decent looking guys. So, I don't agree (that me and Fawad are competing over our looks). But Fawad is extremely good looking, and a charming and nice guy. I really enjoyed filming with him. I am happy that he is doing good work and signing films, and I am sure he is going to do justice to those stories and scripts," says Sidharth.
The Ek Villain (2014) star is also unaware of "where the stories (of producer Karan Johar favouring Fawad over him) are coming from". He says, "We both have never been pitched the same script (for the same role). If that's what people are trying to insinuate, that has never happened. Actually, I am extremely excited that Fawad is working more in Mumbai, and that I get to see more of him in the city," he says.
Actor Fawad Khan feels that piracy poses a huge threat to the film industries around the globe and not just in India or Pakistan. He also emphasises that although over the years, the perception of audience has changed but the problem still persists and is far from getting over.
"Piracy is like a cancer in the society which will take a while to be cured. It is a global problem and we must do something to put an end to this menace," says Fawad , who has been a part of the films such as Khoobsurat (2014) and Kapoor & Sons (2016).
Fawad's popularity burgeoned in India after his Pakistani show Zindagi Gulzar Hai became a hit in the country.
About the changing dynamics of the film industry in Pakistan, the 34-year-old actor says, "With each passing day, the number of movie goers in Pakistan are increasing and same goes for the number of screens. Most of the films are releasing now in Pakistan."
Actor Salman Khan's recent release Sultan is the best example of this change in Pakistan.
"Salman's Sultan gave a record opening in Pakistan, if you look at the records of the past three years. That shows that people actually prefer going to cinema rather than downloading it at home," says Fawad, who will soon be seen in Karan Johar's next directorial.
