The entire nation is celebrating the festival of Rakshabandhan with much fervour today. As we all know, sisters tie a rakhi (sacred thread) on their brother's wrist on this occasion. We got in touch with popular TV actress Amruta Khanvilkar and asked her if she had a chance to tie a rakhi to an actor, who would it be. She picked Fawad Khan and said:
Fawad Khan because he seems like such a good boy. You can have a conversation with and I feel he's too adorable and loving. So as a sister, I'll get a lot of pampering. Plus, he's married and so am I. But we can hangout together, chill and have fun.

Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have grabbed films meant for the other, indulging in a game of musical chairs. Kat was being considered for the main lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Aanand L Rai's next. The deal was almost sealed, but Rai dropped a bomb. Says a source, "He went ahead and cast DP in the film instead. It will now be her, SRK and another heroine who plays the second lead. Kat won't be comfortable playing second fiddle to Dippy. So, that film is out of the question." Kat has got her revenge. There were murmurs that Karan Johar is planning to introduce a fresh pairing (Deepika and Fawad Khan) in his next production venture. But the Dharma film has now landed in Kat's lap. Our khabroo confirms, "Katrina will be seen opposite Fawad in KJo's next, to be directed by Shakun Batra. Karan and Kat have bonded over the last few months and pleased with her work in Baar Baar Dekho, he has offered her another film. Meanwhile, Deepika's date diary is full because of Padmavati and her film with SRK. And his other fav Kareena Kapoor Khan is having a baby, so Karan is going ahead with Kat." Both the films are scheduled to go on floors this November. |

Close friends of a heartthrob star are disturbed by what appears to be a concerted campaign to malign the beloved actor, and specifically to portray him as an alcoholic. The actor, who has starred in no more than two Hindi films, became an overnight sensation and is being wooed by top names in the industry for their projects. He is reportedly already the golden boy of a top Bollywood producer who has snapped him up for a new romantic film opposite a stunning A-list leading lady.
But according to recent tabloid reports, the actor has developed a swollen head from all the success, and can't seem to shake off his weakness for the bottle. Concerned pals and associates, however, insist there is no truth to the stories. It is no secret that the much- married, mild-mannered hero enjoys his drink but he has no addiction issues and no bloated ego, they clarify. The star's camp has learnt that these rumours may have been spread by another young male actor, also married, and who, as it turns out, has old ties with the star. Doesn't take a genius to deduce that the actor's sneaky behaviour is a result of him being visited by the green-eyed monster as he watches his rival's star soar.
