Thank you Rupali , mouth watering , I have heard so much of this special dish on Eid . I think its not thick and have dates and other dry fruits also . Maine kahaa aur tumne bhej diya . Thank you friend

It's special coz it's made in Eid only. Of course it can be made on other days too, but inevitably throughout the year I don't make it, but make it during Eid.😊

Had made in the morning and sent it to all my neighbours. Phir ek short ho gayi, so had to make some more again.😆

I suppose it has different variants. Mine is more in the liquid form and yes you add dry fruits and even dry dates and dry coconut to it. But again no hard and fast rule!😊

Ohkk..I thought there could be a special way of preparation on the occassion.Even we make more in the liquid form with milk being more in proportion than the sewaiyaan.Dry fruits and all the other seasoning are complimentary.So much the same here and there.😉😳

Yes I had.

OK here u go.

Take 2-3 tblsp ghee in a pan. Add vermicelli (sewiyan) and roast it till it becomes golden brown (nowadays u get the reafdy roasted ones too, so u don't need to roast it a lot). Remove in a bowl and den in the ghee add kismis, coarsely powdered almonds and pistas, chalori and sugar and saute for a few minutes. Add the vemicelli and mix well. Add milk and stir constantly. Also add milk according to how thick or thin u want. Cook for sometime, till d milk boils. Remove from stove. Add coarsely dry dates and dry coconut (never add them before else the milk will tear). Pour in bowl and eat.😃😆

BTW I alsdo add kesar strands.

Di, Im Very sure that Shazii needed that warning! 😆😆 Warna she'll go abt tweeting her lyk she did for Hum Awards..😆 Im excited for Mehreen's Project I've heard a lot abt her storylines and direction. 😳 With all tha talks abt Sewaaiyaan, Im feeling hungry and may ask Mumma to make sum tonight! 😃 Btw we need a new thread. 😉
