If you look at FK,s carrier graph .he is quite cautious about his projects . HS was sent him ,returned then again and went on . Not in hurry to sign new projects . As for KS , must have taken the decision , having some things in mind . It was family movie with Disney brand ,ventured to find out the new horizons and Perhaps he signed this movie when ZGH was not in India . As shreya said perhaps wanted to test the water. But whatever is he is person who knows his goal and not in hurry .

As for SS liked her these two shows which were challange . But SS has theater behind her .

FK is being cautious and that's actually a good thing and hope he picks good roles+good movies. I was disappointed with KS, but as Shreya explained that was his first BW outing and he couldn't be too demanding. Bas now I hope he does good movies.

Sanam can be exasperating for her fans. And SHreya even if I conceed she looks at the bigger picture, but frankly speaking Firaaq was pathetic, though the first half was really good!Now don't know if at the time of taking up the project the story was different and was changed mid-way and I strongly feel that was the case, coz even in d promos Sanam was shown with 3 looks, but other than the first 2 looks the third look was never shown. DeD is good, but not an exceptional show.

Neerja in theater Sanam has done some kick-ass characters and I guess she does derive a lot of satisfaction doing theater, but unfortunately tht is viewed by a handful of ppl only and so Sanam needs to chose her roles wisely for movies and dramas too as her recent roles have been disappointing, though she has been gr8 in them.

Actually I have less of an issue with Firaaq, Talkhiyan, Kadoorat. These shows had her in lead roles...she primarily intends to do TV and most other prolific Pakistani TV actresses have plenty of flops in their careers but it doesnt impact them much once they have the reputation of being good performers.

But I have a major problem with DeD as she didnt really have an important role. It was an ensemble cast with Wali and Farah as the main leads. Plus after the show started another couple got more prominence. Parallel leads and negative leads are fine if the prominence is there in the show. Like Maat both lead women had equal prominence. This show is as if she did on a whim. I am not sure what sort of a role she has in her upcmoming films apart from Bachana. I hope the Mehreen Jabbar one is good.

In Talkhiyan and even Kadurat I liked her roles and of course loved Talkhiyan and Kadurat was not that intolerable. Also Kadurat was initially well received and it was only coz of Sanam as tht was her first show after ZGH, when he popularity was at it's peak.

IMO Shukk is a very good show, but generated a lot of unnecessary negativity coz it got stretched towards the end. Also I liked her character Sania for most part and yup it was of a mazloom aurat, but somehow Sanam tends the even play the stereotypical roles differently. I suppose she interprets it her way. (Same with Ruhi in DeD).

As far as DeD is concerned, I think Sanam just took too much of a risk and initially she didn't hv much screen time and when she finally came into prominence, she ended up being the most disliked character and now the focus has shifted to the main leads. But still her role is pretty prominent and other than the main leads d story revolves around her and Agha Jaan, but yes many ppl r taking her negative character too seriously and she's not getting her due in dis role much.

In Bachana she plays a bubbly character and that's such a relief actually! Hopefully its a good one and will do well.

Regarding Mehreen's movie I hv no clue, but yup I definitely don't want her playing second fiddle! Unfortunately in Mehreen's projects she has never been the main lead, playing second fiddle to Sarwat twice and in Daam she had the least prominent role among all other side characters too!

BTW Sanam did mention dat she took d role of Ruhi primarily coz she wanted to work with the director of DeD.

Aur lagta hai she again missed the chance of coming to India. In her last IV she had hinted, but I guess now it's unlikely as KKK is already over and dis was the one show that did belong to her and so her coming to India for it wld hv made sense. I suppose she didn't come dis time coz of Ramzaan.😕

It does not matter whether her recent show is ended but she is more known as Kashaf in ZGH . Talkhiyaan was not for the masses .
