The inexplicable pull of Zindagi Gulzar Hai - Page 49

I wanted to post about Dastaan but can't find the perfect thread..so here.
I am watching all the episodes...to be honest its quite boring..not because of the India and Pak tension. But I feel ZGH was just too good in front of this. I don't even like Sanam Baloch..too overrated. She overeacts at times. And Fawad's chemistry was better with Mahira and Sanam Saeed.

Anyways u know long time back as soon as I had watched Dastaan and dat was after watching ZGH for the first time, I had made a thread giving my takes on d shows I had watched nd the first show was Dastaan. Jab show khatam hoga toh I'll just copy/ paste it.😉

Anyways he thinks that now he knows what makes Kashaf Sir Abrar's favorite and dat is coz he thinks her innocent and pure and he thinks isn't as innocent as Sir Abrar thinks her to be and dat staying in the college for a short time will start behaving like the other girls and it's then that he decides dat he'll spoil her image in front of Sir Abrar and den he'll see how Sir Abrar gives her so much of importance.

Ah I would hv loved dis scenario better than the one dey showed in d drama tht when Maria says Kashaf doesn't guve 2 hoots abt Zaroon, Zaroon decides to show that she's just like all other girls.

This sounds very typical Hindi soap scenario.😆 I like the ZGH they showed. I think compared to the TV version...the novel version sounds for Indian soapish.
I wish they had shown a few things though-
Why/How Zaroon falls for Kashaf. I think by the end of the day he met Kashaf again at Badin he was head over heels in love with her. But I wish he had spoken more about it like Kashaf does thru her diary writings.
A college reunion where ZK go as a couple. 😆
A little date/courtship/attempt at courtship after the engagement and before the wedding. This hinted at but not shown.
Zaroon at Badin post marriage...this also was hinted but never shown.
A little more after ZK's patch up after the fight about Asmara. Mainly resolving her daddy issues.

@JR-If you are not getting all this then let me give you a brief..People already dislike how this forum has turned into ZGH and its associated actors and feel that others are not given due credit.

Khamosh-I know..You had made a review thread analyzing many shows that u had watched.You are talkin abt refraining from that place and here I've lost interest in the show.😆

I felt Zaroon's ego hurting coz Sir Abrar praised Kashaf to the 'T' seemed more plausible and he then devising plans to show Kashaf in d bad books, than he getting affected by what Maria tells him abt Kashaf, though tht too was logically shown.

Yes I think it was shown logically in the show too...Maria was the final trigger but before that he was jealous of Osama and the fact that Kashaf was friendly with him. Zaroon and Osama though friends are competitive over Kashaf.
