Yes Asher's approach was oh look I am doing you a favour girl , lets just forget every thing and start afresh. I am that great human being, the generous one, who is willing to forgive you knowing you wronged me. In a way massaging his male ego which was brutally wounded by the betrayal as his wife chose another man. So telling look how much considerate I am to give you another chance. I guess it was some what reassuring homself that he never wronged her and she lived in misery because of her. He was not ready to take the burden of that guilt conciously though accepting sub conciously in that mirror scene that her behaviour only shows she xant be compketely wrong. So its like let me free myself from that guilt and move on quickly and conveniently.

Khirad was appropriate in her rsponse, he was not worth any explanation after tthose words. She loojed miffed and actually thought what a foolish this man is.

Liked the 21st Episode , Again brilliant with direction and acting . When you translate something then its kind of you are reading a book , noticing the expressions , body language and voice modulation .
What stood out for me as the whole episode has something to write about

1- Asher the confuse soul , for whom Khirad has become a puzzle , unable to solve her . She needs his emotional support and assurance about Hareem . She says Hamari daughter ( our daughter ) then again is in her shell . Asher sitting on the STAIRS and thinking about the past and analyzing her . Then when he is in washroom and his inner voice confronts him . FK , in that scene did great job where he was shattered as he knows that he still loves Khirad and then his mother,s words about self respect and all( do not know the exact meaning of Urdu words ,just guessed )
2- With Khidar and asking her if she wants something . Softness in hIS voice and Khirad kind of dismisses him .
3 - His mother again instigates him against Khirad and change the whole scenario of Khizar ,s coming against Khirad . When you watch the scene Asher again is at the same point where his trust factor again is challenged . How can he mistrust his mother ?
4- Khirad talking to Betule Khala and Asher listens and gets emotional somewhere . and takes Khirad with him

5- Khirad asks him where are they going ? but there was so much going on in Asher,s mind . What to believe . He is again simmering when his mother again fed him lies about Khizar and Khirad . He just erupts and( i do not know the first line he spoke ) starts accusing her . Not once in his house he ever touched this topic even tried to provoke her that she will say something . Now he is again venting his all the bitterness he has inside him buried . Still Khirad does not say something . He must have gone through humiliations and all when Khirad was supposed to ran away . He tells her to start the life for Hareem,s sake and Khirad refusal again makes him confused and then he asks her the reason ? Khirad did not say anything
6- Asher is desperate and emotionally exhausted . He does not know the truth , only knows what was shown and told him . FK was amazing in this sequence where his tone was changing from one moment to another . I do not know where he was weakling , just one action at the heat of the moment where he lost himself and turned deaf . His pleading to Khirad and then when she says that she will go away and his tender voice : Where ? Hareem was a medium through which he wanted to get back Khirad his love for her never died

7- Sara should have been taken to some psychiatrist . Her mother should have got it looking at Sara,s behavior . What a waste of life where she herself was to blame . She was quite mature , well educated girl .
Mahira,s as Khirad no nonsense stance , facing Asher with pride. And FK has so many scenes and best was his in the washroom and the last one . .

I guess he was a confused persona and it was his ego which prevented him asking so. Having said that I will also say that indirectly he did ask. He asked the reason why khirad do not want to start the life again. He said - wajah? So may be, it was his way asking for explanation which is pointkess imo after what has happend and I am glad khirad chose sheer silence to snub him.he desrved any reasonings as he had already concluded what he thought true and convenient for his broken heart.

He even did not ask for forgiveness too in true manner unlike the novel I suppose.

Well , as far as i remember, in novel the last scene in today's episode does not exist. and ego of Ahser and Khirad broke down slowly as the novel moves on. for example when Khirad came to Asher office, she remember her words when she said to her self on the birth of Hareem, also during the Hareem treatement in best hospital. She think about that her ego and her words, she also think about the second marriage of Asher, and realize that he is alone too. On the other hand Asher thinks about the events in past, remember the words of Khirad " I am innocent" and also when Asher plays with Hareem, he realize that Hareem is very sophisticated girl and her mom taught her very well. Also Asher trying to think about the letter which was given to Jamal. But in drama letter mystery reviled in second last episode. In drama some portions are either skipped or some extra scenes are added.

If yesterday DeS topped...today it was turn of HS and Asher Hussain. Asher is now close to losing Khirad but yet desperate to have her back. One after the other superlative scenes but topped by the last scene when the desperate Asher almost begs Khirad to come back to him. The scene was heart wrenching and yet funny in way with the desperate Asher saying he forgives her, then gives Hareem's duhai despite knowing he isnt going to lose Hareem and when she doesnt relent finally he says he loves her and begs her to come back to him.
For a spouse or partner being able to forgive your partner's infidelity and being able to move on is a huge deal. Thats what Asher did today though his forgiveness was misplaced. My heart went out to him.
Khirad's response was right..Asher still thinks she betrayed him. There is no relationship with basic trust. Even the last time his love wasnt enough.
A special mention to the mirror scene...the man looks so hot while bawling. Hope he bawls in every show/film he does.
And the scene with Fareeda and Asher...it seemed the guy would have another nervous breakdown. If not for Hareem he probably would have. Just like Khirad...Hareem has become Asher strength too.

I donno whether i can write a review or not, it takes a lot out of me to write a review when Fawad is so flawless onscreen.. the first scene of tonight's episode is emotionally draining.. .. sighs Asher 😭

Today's Episode was again full of emotions.. The ones which can make u move to the core. The scene between Asher-Khirad, where he asks her to come back to him was a beautiful shot! The excuse Asher gave for Hareem and after that finally breaks down and confesses that he had never moved on over her..!! He is ready to forgive her dumping all his male ego. But Khirad is still dignified.. The fact which I love! But also a mention of the scene between Zarina and Sara.. Sara's breakdown was heartwrenching and emotionally charged!! The way she says.."I hate her!" made me cry.. She was the one who died expecting Asher to be hers one day.. If not in this lifetime then maybe in next! And Fareeda..😡😡 My words of disgust has seriously been lost for this woman!! Even today she was lying saying that Khirad wanted divorce. Seriously?? The woman who cud never love her own son, how can she be expected to care about sum1 else.?? Tomorrow episode seems to be one of the most awaiting one.. Asher's breakdown!! 😭😭

I have a confession to make-
I found Fawad-Mahira's chemistry intense and touching mainly in the photoshots.I just could feel the sparks there much more than in the show.

I can keep gazing them here whereas in the show it was more cute kind of chemistry.
