This show, at the end, just shows how much love and hatred can blind someone.
Farida is blinded by the hatred for Khirad, as she was responsible for her rights as a mother being taken away and her importance as Baseerat's wife being crushed. Well, Khirad was not actually responsible but that is what Farida believes.

Sara is blinded by the one-sided love for Ashar. She had forgotten that Ashar has no love to give to her- Khirad or no Khirad.

Khizar, the dumb guy, is blind in Sara's love. He just cannot see that he is being exploited all the way! Arrey, buy sending away Ashar's wife, you're giving Sara an opportunity to go back to him. That is no rocket science!

And Zarina, she is bind in her daughter's love. A mother should teach her daughter to be realistic, and not conniving. Like she used to. But in the desperation of winning Sara's confidence, she too becomes a part of the ploy.

And Ashar, oh Ashar. He is blinded in some many ways. First he was blinded by the insecurities driven by love, which only ignited at the whole plan's execution. He is blindly believing his mother too, which is kinda understandable. Farida The Fake is a great actor. And now he will be blinded by hatred for Khirad. Oh God Why.

Poor Khirad, the only sane person in all LOL.

I have met a lot of people who profess about human rights and do charity events but treat their maids so badly

But I felt kind of bad when she mentioned Ashar too in the "unche log." She should give him that benefit of doubt, no? That maybe Farida has told him all kinds of lies.

But yes, she does call him. 😭

It's just that their love was so innocent and unaware of all the hatred it was inviting. Never would they have imagined their own people will gang up against them! Two innocent people caught up in a cruel ploy of selfishness. Neither can be blamed. 😭

She was just emotionally driven at that point, but she does call him later so many times.. she expected Asher to trust her and take her side especially because she wasn't aware of how deep rooted his insecurities and jealousy was, he never shared it with her but instead he walked out on her and left her there.
I still consider both victims, and I pity Asher more because truly he lost out on the most.

Don't you guys think Khirad has a slightly upper hand here? She is all aware, known to the ploy that has been played against them. Knows how disgusting Farida is, how all their relatives have simply wronged them.
But Ashar? Poor soul has no idea that his own mother, his so called best friend and his aunt have snatched awat the biggest happiness of his life. It breaks me to think that he will spend his life (until the truth is revealed) believing in these people and hating Khirad. He still has no idea how ruthlessly he has been wronged.

Between to people who have read the novel, can I ask you something? Was this misogynistic approach to the female protagonist was criticised as a literary matter? I mean the portrayal was based on it. But what about reaction to the written piece?

I mean throwing money on your daughter in law's face by saying that its the price for all the thong you did for the man all this while was beyond pathetic and misogynistic imo. Sorry no offence intended, but just asking a sincere question.
