Well even if he does not work here in Bollywood there is no loss because he can still do great work back home. Even if it is more focused on films u can still get updates and watch movies online if it is possible with respect to his Pakistani films.

Agree and disagree to some extent.

Almost all critics have given his performance a thumbs up, not much usual for 'newcomers'. He will be getting some exciting offers for sure. Not sure whether he will accept those offers. Fawad wants to balance his work between Pakistan and India, with his focus more on Pakistan.(Similar to many British actors who could have done a lot better in Hollywood, but they didn't as the wanted to focus on British film industry.)

Plus, he wants to zone out of his 'romantic' image, thus I'm feeling he's rejecting many offers and waiting for the right one.

Harshvardhan is all set to make his Bollywood debut.
Yes, he's going to start shooting from November. He's prepping himself. I'm very proud of my kids because they were launched by successful directors.

Kids " who are in the 22-23 age bracket " have their own mind, and they are very sure of what they want.

You must be happy with the success of Sonam and Rhea's latest film.
My happiness began when I saw the first cut of the film. When I saw the movie,I knew that we had cracked it. Do you think Daawat-e-Ishq, which released on the same day, had an impact on your film?
I feel that if Daawat-e-Ishq had not released in the same week, our film would have been successful on the first day itself. Theirs was a much bigger film, Aditya Roy Kapur was coming after Aashiqui 2 (2013), Habib Faisal after Ishaqzaade (2012), and Aditya Chopra is a successful producer, who has a series of hits to his name. But every film has a journey, and we had ours.

How would you define yourself as a producer?
I'm a very different kind of producer; I spend a lot of my time on the concept of the film. So, when the concept of Khoobsurat was brought to me, I thought it was rubbish for today's day and age. But one day, Rhea told me she wanted to adapt the film, and I just connected with it. The rights of the film were with Tutu Sharma. We spoke to him, and he was gracious enough to give them to us. Then the team came to me with the budget of Rs. 15 crore, I slashed it by Rs. 3 crore. For me, it was important that the film becomes successful in the very first week. I told Rhea that it was not about the money. I have enough money to take care of the family, but the stamp of a hit is important.

Why he wants to come out from his romantic image . Shahrukh Khan did great job as romantic roles few years back . Yes there should be great story to go with that .

Unfortunately the film will not get the tag of a hit atleast as per business in India. And I do not think the budget of the film was only 12 crores. But yes one thing is truly saod, the clash with dawat e ishq killed film's revenues on the first day. Funny thing is adi chopra did not realise that his own film is going to sink too.

The film is highly unlikely to be declared a hit... True!

YRF is generally spot on with their release and film strategy but things seem to have gone awry for DeI... Got postponed twice etc etc.. Do not want to say much about it since this is KS thread... All I can say is that a different release date would have helped both the movies...
