Talking royalty and regal looks with Saif Ali Khan and Raghavendra Rathore

Designer Raghavendra Rathore's styling of actor Fawad Khan in the recently-released Khoobsurat has effectively established the classic 'Rathore look'. And the new Raghavendra Rathore store in Bandra (located on the crossing of Turner and Waterfield Road), a one-stop shop for all these regal creations, was recently launched by actor and the Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan. The offerings at the store comprise classic clothing like the Jodhpur Bandhgala for all occasions, casual wear, as well as a new range of men's jewellery .

A designated designer will be at hand to custom design and offer a complete solution for all bespoke requirements, be it accessories or clothing, in tandem with the Delhi design atelier. Says Rathore of his classic and clean Jodhpuri Bandhgala cuts and other designs, "The regal look is here to stay for those who truly understand elegant style." With two stores in Mumbai, the first one being in operation for the last two years at a five star in Colaba, and now, another in Bandra, it is evident that the market share of the classic look is increasing with time.

Fawad looks really good with his beard shaved off. I was apprehensive because he had lost so much weight and he didnt look great in the Lux ad with the sunken cheeks. So I was afraid he would look bad after the beard would come off. But looks like his cheeks are fuller now and we Indians can proudly claim to have fed him nicely and sent him back home. The hairstyle makes him look younger too than his ZGH days.

He looks young, fit and fresh... almost like an elder brother to those kids in the picture...

Glad Fawad is done with the beard. Hope he puts on a lil weight which would be perfect. Also wish he announces his future projects soon.

Morning all!

Wow, looks like Viku WAS 100% inspired by RR himself: Fawad wasnt joking when he said he studied him & took his mannerisms😲

Saifu!

I would love to know what these royals thought of him in the movie, hehehe

I love the fact that he lost weight: it makes him look his age & even younger. 32 is not old, onscreen he looked older as Zaroon & Jo than he did as Viku, so its fine with me. Hope he doesnt gain too much now; all he needs is fuller cheeks, up to 15% fat & thats it imho. (he was down to 4% fat as Viku)😳

Going by my twitter feed, peeps are still watching KS. Good good. Too bad they didnt release in countries like France, they only had one screening in Germany & too little in USA, Australia, etc.. . Peeps actually wished they could catch the movie in theaters! They lost more income to online versions than they should have. 😭

Is Fawad Khan the reason behind television's' restored popularity?

Yes, Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai breathed new life into television as the entire nation glued to their TV screens and women unabashedly shared their soap opera' opinions on live Twitter feeds. Not to mention, they also led to the now-uncontainable phenomenon of Fawad Fever' but can Fawad Khan be credited for the success completely? He sure does believe so and has anecdotes to prove it too.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Fawad revealed that people have come to him on countless occasions saying that they started watching television again because of him only and that has made for the best compliment among the many he has received till date. "People often tell me that they had stopped watching TV and considered it an idiot box, until they watched my show Zindagi Gulzar Hai and other Pakistani shows," he said. "People say, We never used to watch TV and now we sit down together and watch your shows'; that's flattering. It's a big compliment and I am truly honoured."
