Atlast someone opened a thread on Numm.. 😃I was waiting for it.. 👍🏼

I watched Numm few weeks back and it left me speechless.. I had never heard of the Vanu/Wani custom before... 😲 I know the show had some loose ends but actors did an amazing job... I loved the show... 😳 I agree with people who say Kanza was a major disappointment... For me Neelum's character was more annoying because of her and her accent I did try calling mumma the way she says but failed miserably... 🤣

Now coming to Wali Bhakt.. Can I call him my Wali... ☺️ His silence in the initial episodes and later on his stand was amazingly portrayed by Fawad... ⭐️👏👏 Everytime I feel Fawad cant impress me more but no he excels in every role he plays.. For me Zaroon was ultimate.. ❤️ But after watching Numm Wali made a special place in my heart... 😳

Wali was married to an elder person at the age of 9 or 10 years.. That time she was just like his mom who take care of him.. Cant imagine his state of mind after he got to know she is his wife... His helplessness and turmoil was clear.. He did not wanted to tell his friends about Mahajabeen so he asked her to stay away and then he couldn't ignore her as well... I loved the newspaper scene, hair clip scene and the way he said you look good when Mahajabeen applied hair color..☺️ His smile then ❤️ For me the highlight of the show was Wali saying "Ek shouhar apne biwi ko mohabbat luta raha hai" There Wali looked like a proud and loving husband.. 😳 For me by giving his mom's property to Mahajabeen said that she is more than a wife to him... A motherly figure may be 😳 Their relation was and will always be a mystery...

Sania Saeed ji as Mahajabeen was amazing.. She is a very good actress and convincingly played Mahajabeen... The way she cries in the last episode saying mera Wali mera Wali was heart wrenching... 😭

I dont care if the show failed to garner TRPs as I loved the show and Wali Bhakt... 😛 But yes I agree it could have been better... 👍🏼

Mumkin hai tujhe kehke bhi mil na sakon,
Mumkin hai mujhe pe reham ho ya mujhse saval ho,
Mumkin tai mre saval par woh lajavab ho,

These lines best express their relationship. The newspaper scene, the hair clip scene were so beautiful and heartouching. Wali was trapped in so much painful situation. When he said to Bade sahab That It was a husband's way of showing love to his wife was so intense. At first he said that It is not possible to change the system in a single day. But throughout his life he tried to change old traditions.

When he said that WHat Ghar Majhbeen was talking about which is unable to give a proper name of their relationship reflected his intense love and frustration and his sympathy for Majhbeen. He fulfilled almost all wishes of Neelam but he always tired to protect Majhbeen even from Neelam.

@bold... I felt exactly same...

Hey why sorry... 😳 I have not watched that show so not sure... This show is based on feudal system.. Great work by the actors by Usman ji, Sania ji and Fawad 😃 If you like Fawad and want to see him a different avatar then I will recommend this show for you 😳

Wali is one of the most complicated and intense character according to me... Fawad excelled ⭐️👍🏼

@Neerja and LovePRsoham
Wali was only 10 when he got married to Majhbeen under a miserable condition when his father was dead and mother became mentally challenged. Majhbeen took care of him like his mother. As a child he was not an adamant but sensitive one. He was scared of thunder storms. Majhbeen was a protecting figure for him. She fed him, sent him school etc. When he got to know that Majhbeen was his legal wife he was shattered. He showed his arrogance to her just to hide his inner turmoil which completely broke his mind and soul. After that he was again forced to marry a girl who was much younger that him. Neelam was 17-18 I suppose. At their first meeting he understood that she was a rebel and childish. He was also annoyed with Bade sahab's orthodox advises. An Oxford educated enlightened individual was feeling completely helpless in front of such age old traditions.

Before his marriage to Neelam he was not in state to haave romantic relationship with anyone. After marrige he found neelam too young to understand his problems. Despite understanding his turmoil she started feeling jealous of Majhbeen. She was suspecting about their physical intimacy. She was not in a mood to listened to anybody or to compromise with anything. In present time what we expect from our partners? That they will understand us. Marriage is not about fairytale love and having kid. Its a mature understanding between individuals where a partner understands each other from its core. Wali did not get that from Neelam. Had she been a mature girl she would definitely understand Wali's inner turmoil about Majhbeen. On the other hand Majhbeen understood his shattered soul. That made him attracted toward Majhbeen. She was the mature part of his life. That attraction was depicted through newspaper scene, hairclip scene, garden scene very artistically. When Neelam achieved that maturity in her life Wali was no more with her then.

Majhbeen was so important for him that he never let her go. Only when he got to know about quiseen he let her go for her happiness. When he said That app kaun si ghar ki baat kar rahi hai jo aj tak hum dono ka riste ka nam thik nehi kar paya..His inner conflict was clearly shown here. On the other hand he also said in front of bade sahab that he decided to give his mother's property to Majhbeen because this is a way of showing a sohor's love to his wife. There was an unspoken territory which he was unable to give any name. Wali was deeply hurt when he got to know about Qasim as Majhbeen did not tell him about it.

Now come to Majhbeen her inner pain was clearly visible when she was talking to Amtur at time. She was punished to love a person. She was forced to marry a 10 yr old boy who does not understand what a conjugal relationship is. She played Amtur's role in his life. But after he grew up he became a Mard and their relationship changed and it became uneasy and uncomfortable for both of them. When she got to know that Wali went to kill Qaseem she said to Salima that the situation is like her to souls are fighting with each other. One whom she gave birth and another whom she nurtured. At last when Wali sent her to her son she said now I am with qaseem but u went away from me. I love both of u. She could not think a conjugal relationship with Wali as she was the one who gave him mother's love despite knowing the relationship.

Some people say that the actress played neelam was not good. But I like her. She beautifully portrayed neelam's immaturity, childishness and insecurity. She was a pampered child, lost her father at a tender age. She was llonely in her life as none understands her. She told her mother that u snatched me from school and made me sat on marriage ground. What else can we expect from a school girl of her age? Wali understood that fact. That is why he tried to fulfill her wishes as far as possible.

That is my point of view. I know its a bit longer. Plz do comment.

That turmoil you could read in his eyes he was not given any choice both the times and once he said the same to Bade Sahib that he is only puppet
. He was soft spoken and naturally you get attatched to the person living with her for so many years . But there was something special in their relationship . Some unspoken bond which only their eyes conveyed

After that he was again forced to marry a girl who was much younger that him. Neelam was 17-18 I suppose. At their first meeting he understood that she was a rebel and childish. Had she been a mature girl she would definitely understand Wali's inner turmoil about Majhbeen.

Neelum was just a school girl who was trapped in this sysytem ,she was not mature and more over Bade Sahib told her that Mahzabeen is only a servant , she was rebellious and not mature as you said otherwise would have understood . she was childish and Walli kind of protecting Mahzabeen from her wrath .

As i already said there was unspoken bonding between the two . Mahzabeen was mature and she was quite also
Majhbeen was so important for him that he never let her go. Only when he got to know about quiseen he let her go for her happiness. That time Walli has started taking things in his hands . Yes he was hurt that Mahzabeen did not tell him about Qasim but she might be afraid . thats why i felt there were lack of connectivity in the story . Where was Qasim and when Mahzabeen was made vani and it was kind of you mortgage a person .
Now come to Majhbeen her inner pain was clearly visible when she was talking to Amtur at time. She was punished to love a person. She was forced to marry a 10 yr old boy who does not understand what a conjugal relationship is. She played Amtur's role in his life. She could not think a conjugal relationship with Wali as she was the one who gave him mother's love despite knowing the relationship.

Agree she nurtured him like a mother but when walli became adult and he knew that he was married to Mahzabeen ,he became protective and sometimes you could feel going on turmoil in both of them when Walli looking at her side ways or behind the newspaper . Keeping her hairpin . Equation was changed . There was something when both looke at each other quitely . Mahzabeen without his saying knew what he wanted . With Neelum it was arranged marriage where he has to compromise .

I also have read comments about Neelum , she was brought up with freedom , having her own say ,just a school girl and married to a mature person . I felt bad for Neelum where she was sacrificed as a goat on the alter of system and if you look at others same happened with Mahzabeen , walli also . Walli was shown to be person of great patience ,he gave in to Neelum,s childish behavior just to make her happy . Neelum also got mature in the end and knew that Walli just did his duty as husband he did not let her down .
Walli was the most effected person in all this story . His piercing eyes leaves you numb where you can feel his hurt .

That is my point of view. I know its a bit longer. Plz do comment.

Thanks for giving your take , i just remember when i was watching this show then has written that should be discussing this show with different perspective
