OK guys! I would like to admit that I have had enough of FK mania!! Firstly let me clarify first that I am a huge FK admirer! But then, there are other Pakistani artists as well who have got imported to India and have done good work.
Since everyone here is solely gaga over FK, I felt I could list down a few artists from our lovely neighbor who did some awesome work here.
1. Ali Zafar
Tere Bin Laden gave him the best Indian debut ever! And there was no looking back. We have as many fans of his acting as we have for his voice in India
2. Meesha Shafi
More popular for her singing at Pakistan, she grabbed eyeballs in India with here short but impactful role opposite Farhan Akhtar in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
3. Imran Abbas Naqvi
With chocolate boyish looks and equally appreciable talent, he is all set to debut opposite Bipasha Basu in Creature 3D.
4. Humaina Malik
This demure lady with eyes to die for will be seen opposite Emraan Hashmi in raja Natwarlal
5. Veena Malik
Controversy queen both here and there, she garnered attention with Bigg Boss and stated she's here to stay
6. Sara Loren
After her attempt with Kajra Re failed, she came back with Murder 3 and got noticed for it.
No let's look at some old wine
7. Javed Sheikh
A critically acclaimed actor, he found a lot of scope in India with meaningful character roles in movies like Chak De India, Shikhar, Namastey London and Om Shanti Om
8. Salma Agha
The stunning beauty was a popular face in the 80s both for her acting and singing skills. She was best remembered for her work in Nikaah. And who can forget the ever-green Jhoom Jhoom Jhoom Baba from Kasam Paida Karne Waale Ki.
9. Zeba Bakhtiyar
She gave us one of the priceless gems n in Indian Cinema in for of her unforgettable work in Raj Kapoor's Henna. Coincidentally the film was also based on the troubled Indo-Pak relationships then and was Raj Kapoor last directorial venture!
Any positive or critical (read not negative or abusive) comments on them are welcome. Please feel free to add any artists you think I missed out!
P.S. I did not include the immense inflow of singing talent here like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Atif Aslam etc coz it would require another topic altogether.
So just actors here!!
But inclusions are welcome too... 😊

The thing is, some of the best actors that Pakistan has..haven't attempted Bollywood..at least not yet (you never know).

Even with Fawad..I love Fawad and I think he's great..but, I'd like to add that there are some actors that Pakistan has which are in a different league altogether. This lousy Zindagi channel has failed to show some of the best work we have..which is lame. As far as the list that you've compiled..I personally find all of them to be weak actors. Ali Zafar is a better singer and always has been. Likewise with Meesha Shafi. Veena Malik and Sara Loren can't really act..Zeba and Javed Sheikh are overrated. Salma - I haven't seen her work, so not sure.

I do agree with the bold
And its not just lack of offers. Its the apprehensions of past bitterness to some extent that stops them.
Check out this video of the cold argument between Ali and Shaan.

Though I have been quite a fan of Shaan's talent, I am not sure if I will ever get to see him perform here, simply because he doesn't consider performing in India to be patriotic enough!
And please Shaan fans, this is not a personal attack on him, I am just commenting on his way of thinking!
So things can be similar for the "good" shows too. The producers might not have wanted to sell rights to Zindagi, and the reason might not just be monetary.
Cz if Zindagi can be brave enough to announce the telecast of Dastaan (which is quite Anti-Indian) I am sure it would not have probs with other shows too.
Like I see no chances of getting to see the Baarat series or Akbari Asghari, God knows why!!!
Hence I just listed down the ones who actually made a move and came down to India, with whatever little talent they had, and got appreciated!!!

Fikr not Fk fans are about to leave.

No one refused that the neighbouring country has some great actors and they are compketely in different league and may hv attempted good work here too. I guess fk got maximum coverage and promotions, thats why so much discussions.

Fawad mania is about to die soon and sorry from my behalf to offend few here by going gaga over him,

but I guess its people choice to discuss what they like and there is absoutely nothing wrong in it.

Zindagi chose mediocre shows I guess so its difficult to get impressed by what being shwn. I have seen few dramas which do not have Fawad and I loved most of them. They need to choose good shows like daam, malal, dur e shahwar, kankar, talkhiyan etc. I dont know wht their business strategy is but here people would really appreviate if good shows get aired.

@ tm, from the list you have posted whatever I have seen, sorry to say Veena Malik and Salma Agha have no piece of work here or even there I guess to get a mention. They were atleast never impressive in any of bw projects or tv stint.

this video went viral thoes days 😆 well even being a shaan fan i didn't like his statement... well working in bollywood or not its his own choice but he shouldn't given such statements & made it a patriotic issue i've too noticed zindagi mostly picking hum shows may be copyright issues with other channels but still they didn't picked the good shows of hum only zindagi gulzar hai & humsafar i don't want zindagi to air dastaan it'll cause trouble for the channel & people start asking for banning the entire channel about the bold part i respect your view no offense 😊

I know you wrote about actors who are appreciated by Indian Audience and you can't include future actor Imran Abbas who will be introduced by Bhatt Camp's upcoming movie 'Creature 3D' with Bipasha Basu.

I recently watched his Khuda Aur Mohabbat. He is a very fine actor and bcoz of his suave looks and impeccable acting, I am sure he will make a place in your list in near future.

Is javed Shaikh the same guy who plays Zaroon's father in ZGH? Didn't know he has acted in BW films.😕

I think Zindagi is deliberately not showing all d really good shows. Dey's show it one show at a time and also keep some time gap before airing them. I guess it's just a smart way to managing the channel.

Well obviously no other actor can be compared to Shaan, he is a proper film actor who started with films and even in the bad phase of the industry he refused to do television acting. Now obviously he is getting his rightful place, although I feel he is much more talented than being limited to action films.
I respect his views on not doing films in India and his patriotism but what I found very annoying was he continuously repeated the same stuff, he was trying to put others down. I mean why force your opinion on others or insult them in front of live audience.
Ali Zafar is an average actor, he got more fame than he deserved. Fawad is a better actor compared to all those who have tried their luck so far in BW
