I really dont understand the point TM is trying to convey here...what FK mania? I see only one FK thread here, few other FK thread is related to Zindagi promotions on FAK shows and you can count teh trheads on FK if you want. So what exactly is bothering TM here i fail to understand..

there are much more number of thread on Sanam Saeed i guess that mania didnot bother you at all And hey let me tell you I adore SS as much as i do FK (a lil less maybe) but I have never seen any FK fan talking abt SS mania or complaining abt it..not trying to compare any actor here like you did

I agree there are much more talented actors in neighboring country but that doesnt make Fawad less talented huh😕 as FK movie is getting released we see more of the promotions side and hence we have a KS promotions thread. I guess that has offended you to no bounds that you had to list many other talented actors in a way to put Fawad down ..well if that was not intention i found it offensive that you had to list some of the actors that does even have any respectable work cascade to boast abt

Sorry to say i find this forum more hostile than even that dreadful BW forum...such hypocrisy. Btw I sincerely request others to not open any fawad related threads on this forum i think that wud make everyone happy here including me

I just watched the 2 clips posted on the first page and realized tht Shaan is the same guy who played the main lead in Khuda Kay Liye. Well tht's d only Pak movie dat I remember watching.

I don't know much abt him, but just commenting on the clips that I saw. Hope he noo knows how much Pak dramas r being admired by Indians and also so many BW actors r acknowledging dat. Every other day der is some actor or another commenting on how much dey like Pak dramas.

the difference is that Fawad has become popular in india due to his work back in pakistan, he is popular here due to his dramas and not because he has done a film here as the film has not been released yet ..

I know pakistan prrobably has some great artists, who has better body of work than Fawad, but the channel zindagi got a name for themselves and a certain fanbase after they aired ZGH, which they aired again due to popular demand.. so listening to general audience is anything but lame, and no everyone is not interested in artistic materials, people do like to gets fascinated and may be Fawad's work has fascinated people in India.

Having said that, i really hope zindagi manages to air good shows of pakistan and others actors also fetch a similar craze like Fawad, because when its restricted to him, he gets criticised and somewhat people tag it as undeserving , and its not actually his fault if he gets all the attention while rest of the better actors lag behind ...

i hope khoobsurat releases, gets its verdict and he goes back home and hibernates, atleast his fans can take rest and concentrate on their work and life...

Though I have been quite a fan of Shaan's talent, I am not sure if I will ever get to see him perform here, simply because he doesn't consider performing in India to be patriotic enough!

And please Shaan fans, this is not a personal attack on him, I am just commenting on his way of thinking!

So things can be similar for the "good" shows too. The producers might not have wanted to sell rights to Zindagi, and the reason might not just be monetary.

Cz if Zindagi can be brave enough to announce the telecast of Dastaan (which is quite Anti-Indian) I am sure it would not have probs with other shows too.

Like I see no chances of getting to see the Baarat series or Akbari Asghari, God knows why!!!

Hence I just listed down the ones who actually made a move and came down to India, with whatever little talent they had, and got appreciated!!!

Shaan gets carried away with his patriotism. With that said, I do understand where he's coming from. I don't entirely disagree with his sentiments..yes, he could express his concerns in a much better manner though. Pakistan's film industry is flourishing..and for its betterment, you need quality actors and in particular stars for that. If everyone decides to go elsewhere and make Pakistani films their second or third priority then we could say bye to Pakistani films doing better. His sentiments on this issue run along similar lines..he just needs to be a little more politically correct in expressing such concerns...but, I personally do believe he has a point.

I think Zindagi is deliberately not showing all d really good shows. Dey's show it one show at a time and also keep some time gap before airing them. I guess it's just a smart way to managing the channel.

Yes, Javed Sheikh is the same guy who played Zaroon's father. He played some supporting characters in a few bollywood films.

veena malik and sara loren, they havent done any good to the art of acting or cinem by doing films in india, neither they did represent pakistani industry or made people interest in the projects over there.

I feel the difference with Fawad is, his work back in pakistan has been watched and applauded, which made people look for pakistani dramas now , and thus him doing khoobsurat is being awaited too, moreover the film is an A list film, with UTV making it, it does have quality in a sense which attracts both masses and classes .

so may be Fawad is not a very good actor like his contemporaries in pakistan, or he is being overhyped , but its true he is representing his home industry currently, and the man deserves the due credit . if SRK represents india in pakistan, then FAK is doing the same in india ..

yes kinjal, there is always a certain level of comparison, an Ali zafar i understand, but sara loren and veena malik ?

i am just happy that fawad has tasted success with his dramas here, otherwise there would be a doubt about the iconic status of his dramas .. if khoobsurat does well, then its just a bonus ..

i hope something about his upcoming pakistani film is announced sooner or later

me too..as much as i like to see him doing good work in BW i want him to do better work in Pakistan acting writing directing...leaving best fro other talented actors😃
