yes I guess its a man's state of mind vs woman's state of mind. woman tries to sort out issues with talking things out . that's exactly was shown too by khirad trying to communicate while Asher just made that wall surrounding him. but more than his ego, it was his insecurities as a lover was overshadowing every thing. its like my love is not enough to make her life happy and that's why she is trying to find happiness from some one else.its his complex may be inferiority that he is a bore to his young wife. I guess in the original novel as Asher khirad had significant age difference was more justifying in terms of his behaviour. not only that I find Asher way too unreasonable too , even he asked khirad to grow up but he was the on who was behaving immaturely to tackle the situation. isn't that double standards? oh that's Y chromosome trait I suppose.

yes khirad will become stronger by the trials and tribualtions and more so she will fall hard to rise again to fught her battle. what will happen to the man? I am not going to tell you that. but he will show male traits only proving that men are emotionally inferior to women. 😆

The problem with Khirad is not inexperience, the problem is that she could HAVE NEVER thought that an educated person like Asher who loved her so much can EVER doubt, this thought never came across her mind. Jitna dil kholke mohabbat kiya,utni hi shiddat se dil todna bhi jaante ho. Cant actually call it dil "todna" exactly. Coz this is more of refusing to shower love and not exactly hate or breaking her heart. He is making her feel devoid of any form of love.

You know I truly believe its always better "to know,than to not know at all." Not knowing is a bigger torture.

This is another thing about HS than makes it stand out. We have umpteen number of stories showing about how people fall in love,how a relationship is formed,likewise,we have also seen a relationship breaking and how people are all sulking post break up. BUT,we have NEVER seen this aspect of a relationship.

See,there is a blurred phase between a relationship being fine,relationship not being fine and the relationship eventually breaking. Humsafar is now exploring the phase between the relationship not being fine and breaking. This I have never seen before. Atleast not a good version of it.

When you've fully invested in a person,you are used to his/her expression of love(again,not everyone uses words to express their love,introverts don't always use words,its more about gestures. Whatever it is,his/her partner would know whatever that form is) The worst possible punishment you could give someone you love and someone who loves you,is first shower as much love as u can and then abruptly say "hey!Im out of juice,man. You dont get any lovey dovey words,gestures or even smiles or nods. Deal with it."

With every exhale,its almost as though he is spitting his displeasure on Khirad.

What's worse is you don't even know why. (Hmm. Are u sure u dont? Khirad,honey,think deeper,what was the root cause? When was the first time he showed signs of displeasure?)

Khirad was confused and hurt , must be going through hell where she went wrong or what he did that he is totally a changed person . You rightly said ,his eyes were spitting fire . Felt so bad for Khirad who just went on asking what her fault is ?the same person who few minutes ago was totally in her world and all of a sudden was standing far from her and watching her as a stranger .

Asher is conversing,yes. But not how he used to,not about what he used to,not how she was used to.

Add to it. He has a frustrated serious look on his face all the time,the furrowed forehead and the arch eyebrow (Fawad TOTALLY nailed it. 👏)

Fawad did great job with his changing expressions , first in the car and then when comes back and listens to his mother , his side face in the half darkness, eyes turning ice cold . How can you not admire FK,s acting skills and he just slips in to the character , even when pretending to sleep and opens his eyes . He himself is going through hell created by himself . He has tormenting poor soul without no fault of hers and himself is also suffering .

I cant believe this,I actually was a bit teary-eyed by the end of the episode. The actual heart-break is way better than not knowing if ur heart is still,full. Does that make sense? Hope u got my point.

Also,I made an observation 😆 WIth this new Asher surfacing now. His suits have changed too. Its darker shades now and not the dull pastels (eww 🤢 ) and they're more fitted and tighter,much like his uptight behavior now. Hmm,co-incidence much?

A very good episode. Fawad shines in every scene. 👏

If she had any idea, I think she would have confronted. the reason may be as she never had any problem with Asher sara friendship. moreover Asher doubting khirad on character and thinking she thinks he is incapable of bringing her happiness was out of question for the poor girl in love. who thinks that/ as she said asher was her only relative, the only emotional connect point. and yesbeing nave and inexperienced, people actually have meant that she was not able to assess other people intentions and was not very observant and eve a bad judge of people surrounding her. she always thought every one is good as they are coming across. that became detrimental for her unfortunately.

very well,that age issue does matter I guess. But it wasnt properly putforth during the sunshine phase,so it didnt hit me the way it should have when he said Grow up! it came out of the blue and i was like,hello! U never said that to her before,why bring it now?

No I dont think its about how educated he was,that cannot guarantee anything. The most educated lot ask the most dowry apparently as per survey,so u know. 😆 Its ridiculous that they do that,but they do.

Anyway,here the thing was,that she never expected someone like Asher,who didnt shy away from showering love on her,could treat her this way. Could put a full stop to all form of love. Doubting is a whole different issue altogether. No woman could ever expect that.

ah yes,the sara equation. Hmm,maybe she consoled her self telling that? See,she very well noticed Fawad's changing expression in that table scene and even in that scene in the parking lot. I think she did notice it,but she brushed it away thinking "Nah! Asher wont think that way. Stupid me. Sara and Asher share a healthy friendship,so why would he have a problem with this?"

Men and their double standards. Pisses me off. Happened with Zaroon and now its the worst case scenario with Asher.
