Vikas Sethi up close and personal
am a chilled-out-happy-go-lucky guy. I love my wife Amita. My family is my priority.

And I will slog to keep the members of my family and my friends happy.

I hate hypocrisy. God has also created such feelings of hatred in all of us.

Marriage needs strong compatibility between two people. There may be ups and downs, but there is this one person who would stand by you for your entire life in all circumstances. It is a beautiful experience.

Lust is something healthy if one knows the limits.

My inspiration? My goals. I set my targets and make sure I achieve them. One can never grow without it.

My strength is my family. And my weakness is also my family.

I feel happy when I am with my well-wishers, especially my family and friends. I also feel happy to cherish memorable moments.

I feel angry when… nothing specific to mention. I rarely get angry; but if I do, it is hard to take. I generally don't believe in making enemies. And I don't mind apologising. I feel one loses nothing by saying, "Sorry." It helps settle issues.

I'm obsessed with my work, and I won't compromise with it, and also cars and bikes.

I' m fussy about… nothing at all.

My memorable moment? When I got my first best actor award in a negative role for "Kahin to Hoga."

Embarrassing moments? Lots, but I can't remember anything now.

One thing I could change about my self is? I am very lazy and I am trying hard to get over it.

On a deserted island I would love to go with… I would like to give time for myself and spend it in solitude.

My idea of a perfect date? It is just about knowing each other. So I would prefer going anywhere where we could spend time talking.

Weirdest dream? I don't dream.

I feel most comfortable when… at home.

When not working, I like watching movies.

My favourite colour? White.

In what could be a promisingly entertaining episode of Aaja Mahi Vay, the Bachna... cast landed on the sets to groove with the contestants. Ranbir, Deepika and Minissha picked up the microphones and performed for the audience. Ranbir tried to pose like James Bond. Regardless, with the two beautiful women beside him at the time, there wasn't much he could do to look bad... after all nobody could take their eyes off the lovely Deepika and Minissha.

Bipasha was seen in a lovely black, dress grooving to her item number from the movie. Her hairdo (sans extensions) looked a bit iffy but no one really cared!

Ranbir, as usual couldn't take his hands off Deepika.

Then Malaika Arora Khan came in wearing a stunning turquoise dress to grab hold of Deepika. Minissha on the other hand took this as a cue to get in between the lovers...

All in all it was a fun event that saw the actors and contestants dancing to the hit numbers from the movie that is all set to release on August 15.

Penalty bench is that part of Zara Nachke Dikha on Star One which is dreaded by every contestant . This time Chaitanya Choudhary is the unlucky one.

The meethi churi who defeats Chaitanya is the sultry siren Mouni Roy. The two had to compete on contemporary free style dance in this face- off round. Mouni scored over Chaitanya and he had to eventually go to the penalty bench.

Chaitanya says, "Both our performances went off very well. Judges (Malaika Arora Khan and Chunky Pandey) had to take a decision and they did so. My team mates were not happy with the decision. They feel that my performance was better. As far as I am concerned I don't know what to say."

Well this is not the first time that the boys are unhappy with the judge's decision. They were unhappy even when Amit Tandon was chosen for the penalty bench. Last week it was Narayani Shastri who was sent to the penalty bench.

The episode airs on Aug 12

Mouni Roy's dance talk!

"I'm enjoying the show and especially the company of Karishma Tanna as we have done maximum acts together. With this show we have became soul mates. The only reason I have taken part in the show is because dancing is my inborn talent and I really can't resist it. In my early days I had learnt Kathak so I know the basic mudras but here I'm enjoying everything," says Mouni

On winning, Mouni says, "We are confident. Girls always win the race."

Tell us about Kyunki? "I really can't reveal much but yes there are going to be twists in KT, Eklavya and Lakshya's life," she says.

Malaika Arora seems to be taking her 'hottie' image a little too seriously. The actress recently got into a tussle with Chunky Panday on the sets of the reality show Zara Nachke Dikha. Onlookers were taken aback when Malaika snubbed Chunky. The men versus women format of the show has led to some biases, and Malaika and Chunky have parted ways, siding with their own sexes and scrutinising the participants out of prejudice. Malaika and Chunky haven't been on speaking terms since the scuffle. When asked about the tiff, Chunky says, "It's almost like a sexist war. I for the guys, she for the ladies. Though we try and keep our decisions un-affected but…" We understand Chunky. Now the good news is that both, Maliaka and Chunky, have kept up their professional values, thus, causing no disruption in the shooting schedule.

Our telestars and Olympics are far apart
by Vidhya Krishnan
Aug 09, 2008, Bangalore

As the biggest sporting extravaganza in the universe, 'The Olympics' has begun. On this occasion, we checked out how clued in our tele stars are about 'The Olympics'. Well, well, well...sadly not many of them seem to be really clued in. Read on…

Vibha Chibber…

Message to Team India at Olympics - We have very good players representing at the international level. I just hope them to do well.
Favourite player – I really don't follow sports. But my favourite sports person in general is Sachin Tendulkar.
Favourite event – Cricket
Number of medals India would bring home – I pray that they get at least 20 gold medals.

Chaitanya…

Message to Team India at Olympics - I just want to say that they need to prepare well and give their best.
Favourite player – Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, the shooter, I like his consistency.
Favourite event – Gymanistics interests me.
Number of medals India would bring home – I don't know and I can't say but I hope they get all the medals. Each one is strong in something and I think we are good at Hockey, Wrestling and Shooting.

Sukirti Khandpal…

Message to Team India at Olympics – I just wish all of them do really well. But I think participation is more important and representing internationally is a great thing. My best wishes to everybody and I hope them to come out in flying colours.
Favourite player – Sania Mirza
Favourite event – There are too many but the running race catches my fancy.
Number of medals India would bring home – All of them! It is an asset to our country.

Rajan Shahi…
Message to Team India at Olympics – I have a different view, which may not go very well in the positive sense. I am not being radical or derogatory about anything or anyone. We need to match to the world standards and see whether that is possible. We should play what we are good at, like cricket. Representing at the international level is not a joke and returning with few medals does not show really well. So much money is spent and it goes wasted. I think that the players have to be really groomed and then be sent to represent internationally. All said and done, I hope they do well./>Favourite player – I am not aware about what is happening since I stopped watching.
Favourite event – Gymanstics and water sports
Number of medals India would bring home – No idea

Kinshuk Mahajan…

Message to Team India at Olympics – I hope they make us proud and I wish them best of luck.
Favourite player – P.T. Usha
Favourite event – Swimming
Number of medals India would bring home – All that they can.

Krystle…

Message to Team India at Olympics – Do well, be confident but not over-confident and rock it.
Favourite player – I don't have a fancy for sports.
Favourite event – Swimming
Number of medals India would bring home – No clue but I hope they bring all the medals.

Karuna Pandey…

Message to Team India at Olympics – I want to say that the players have to give their 100% and not worry about winning or losing.
Favourite player – I don't have the time to watch sports.
Favourite event – High jump
Number of medals India would bring home – It is unpredictable but I hope they get all the medals.
