Vikas Sethi again on penalty bench

Penalty bench seems to the fate of Vikas Sethi in Zara Nachke Dikha. He was called back from the penalty bench by his team mates in the last episode and this episode he is again on it again.

The theme in this khallas round was Indian folk. It was Narayani Shastri who had come from the girl's team to challenge Vikas Sethi.

Narayani says, "It always feels good to defeat someone." Talking about Vikas's performance, she said, "Vikas just performed as to what was choreographed. Actually the song was too light for a folk performance."

This episode will air on September 16.

Bakhtyaar, Karishma overcome daunting task

In the coming 'Performance' episode, in the 'Hum Tum round, Bakhtyaar and Karishma Tanna danced to a South Indian number. But that was quite a daunting task for them as they were not supposed to perform in that round.

Due to some problem they had to step in at the last moment. Bakhtyaar and Karishma sportingly took the challenge at the last moment and started rehearsing their act from midnight and finished it in a few hours. But that was not an easy performance for both of them, Bakhtyaar had injured his wrist and Karishma Tanna was suffering from bad throat (Bakhtyaar's wife Tanaaz dubbed for her voice).

But with sheer determination both of them rehearsed their act and their hard work paid off with their act being appreciated by one and all and the judges commented that it was the best 'Hum Tum' round till date. Bakhtyaar also won "Best Performer of the day award" for his superb performance. Surprisingly, despite being a good dancer it's the first time that he's won this award.

This episode of Zara Nachke Dikha airs on Monday 15 September on Star One.

Karishma-Khayali eliminated from Kaante…

Karishma Tanna and Khayali finished third in Comedy Circus' inaugural season but the duo couldn't go beyond two weeks in Kaante Ki Takkar. They have become the first pair to be eliminated from Kaate Ki Takkar.

A source informs, "There was no elimination in the first week. Karishma Tanna and Khayali did well in the second episode but their first week's performance wasn't that good. The judges had to take a decision considering performances of both the episodes. That's where they fell behind. Karishma had spoofed a bar dancer in this episode."

When contacted Karishma said, "It is very good that I am out of the show. I wanted to be on this show just for a few episodes."

Karishma and Khayali's elimination episode will air on September 13 at 10.00 pm on Sony.

Jennifer and Chaitanya The 'It' couple

Zara Nachke Dikha is reaching its final stages. The finale is just two weeks away, and there is some real-life romance budding on the show. Jennifer Winget and Chaitanya Choudhary are part of rival teams on the show, but they have been insisting that they perform together in the HumTum round (it's the only round where the rivals dance together).The choreographers and their teams haven't been allowing them to dance together due to various reasons like difference in their energy levels, abilities, their look together on stage etc. But the very-much-in-love jodi insists they will only perform together and not listen to anyone.

In a recent interview, the pleasantly plump Delnaaz Paul, spoke about her weight problem, and said it's not all because of binging. "I am a big foodie but I don't overeat. it is just that I have had thyroid problems since my childhood, and I have always been plump," says the actress. However, she says that a lot of people from the Tv industry start playing dietician and get to advising her about what to eat and what not to all the time. without knowing the actual reason. "In fact, I can write a thesis on all the diet advice I have got. Frankly speaking, they are of no use," says Delnaaz. So how careful is she? "I don't eat carbohydrate food. Besides, I avoid lunch and my have dinner by seven as my dietician has advised. No alcohol for me either," said the actress.

Chaitanya pokes fun at Karishma

"I agree I did do that... But it was not my concept. The production people came up with the idea. I just went to the front and performed it... I was egged on by Bakhtiyar. It was a complete fun fiesta for all of us on the show," says Chaitanya.

However, only last week Karishma and Chaitanya had teamed up and performed together in the Hum Tum round. So why mock your partner and friend?

"Its almost become like a habit for me to mimic her when I get on that stage. She is a great dancer and on top of that my sweetest friend around. I tell you she is a sweetheart. And a great performer, when it comes to dancing or acting. Its all just in fun," he says.

Recently Chaitanya was quite embarassed himself. His childhood photos were shown on the show too. "I was quite shocked when I saw it. I was left wondering how they got them. I guess my parents must have given to them. But it was my cousin sister who provided the photos to them. However, it was fun rememebering my childhood..." laughs the actor.

Arbaaz is more handsome than Salman: Malaika

In this week's 'Sajid Superstars', Sajid Khan has managed to rope in the real life 'jodi' of Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan.

As the two get into a fun conversation with Sajid, they touch upon controversies surrounding their married/professional life amongst many other things. We bring to you exclusive tidbits on what to expect in this week's special episode.

- Arbaaz Khan finally got a chance to dance on a Shah Rukh Khan number. Along with his wife Malaika, he made an entry into the show while shaking a leg on the number 'Kaal Dhamaal' (Kaal).

- Not many remember that close to 15 years back, Arbaaz and Malaika had worked together for MR coffee commercial.

It had turned out to be a controversial outing due to its bold theme but for Arbaaz and Malaika, it worked wonders. Sparks flew, the two fell in love and a few months down the line, they tied the knot. Sajid brings back this 20 seconds commercial for the sake of nostalgia.

- Another little known fact was revealed about Sajid Khan's role in the marriage of Arbaaz and Malaika. Did he play naughty there as well?

- There were quite a few naughty incidents on the episode as well. Arbaaz cracked a joke around a condom, something which has to be seen and heard during the show!

Meanwhile, he also answered the question around how he has maintained a clean record over the years, with no link-ups whatsoever, in spite of being in the world of glamor for so long.

- Arbaaz and Malaika do get serious though while talking about their tryst with media a few months back when a large section went hammers and tongs on them for their staged 'divorce' saga. They did resent the fact that if media had its way, it could represent or misrepresent things at its own will.

Ruing over the fact that if it wants, media could destroy a celebrity's reputation in a matter of hours, Arbaaz and Malaika were left wondering if media indeed had any role to play in interfering in someone's personal life.

- Malaika and skimpy outfits go together. Arbaaz answered Sajid's query on what he felt about her choice of outfits and whether his entire family was indeed liberal about the way she carried herself.

- Arbaaz and Sajid revealed one little known fact about their younger days. Once upon a time, they attended classes of acting Guru Kishore Namit Kapoor.

The two confess for the first time in public that they used to trouble Kapoor by giving him blank calls on numerous occasions. Well, what was the reason behind that? The two spill the beans!

- On asked about the more handsome of the two Khans, Malaika didn't blink an eyelid and replied that she did find Arbaaz far more handsome than Salman Khan.

- Arbaaz shared an interesting anecdote around the first award that he got for the film Daraar. As he collected his Filmfare trophy for his villainous role and returned to his seat, yesteryear villain Ranjeet, in his own colorful manner, asked him to hand over the 'nude girl' to him!

- For the best and worst scenes of Arbaaz, Daraar and Hello Brother were the chosen films respectively. However for Malaika, while 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' was the unanimous choice for the best dance number that she has been a part of, the choice for the worst track of hers was quite a shocker. Which was this number? Any guesses?

Amit ka dum on ZND

"It was quite a tough call performing in front of flanking mirrors on the juncture. Other than a little practice on the set we didn't have much background on performing on that floor. gaurav and I did what ever lilttle preparation we could from our end. We were a bit worried but it all worked out in the end," says Amit.

Judge Malaika too loved their act. "I adore you guys never giving up spirit on experimentation each time you come up on stage to perform," she praised them.

Amit who has not been performing for a while says he was glad to get a chance this week and come out on top.

"So it was my first performance after two weeks and it came out good. I am content that I made a killer move with another killer from the guy's team Gaurav," says Amit.

But it's not all about his dance. Amit says he wuite likes Karishmas acts too. "I think Karishma Tanna is the best dancer on ZND. She certainly she stands out from in the crowd. Each performance of hers on the show is a pleasure to watch," he says.

Amit is now getting ready for the finale. He says, "We will try and give our best on that particular day and pull the winning moment our side but let's see...Chain Khuli Ki Main Khuli Ki Chain... kill it Guys!!! and for the girls I hope they lose!"
