Friends first or lovers?
Friends first, have been hurt in love!

My girlfriends always try to change . . .
I am very possesive, so I guess when I had one, she would have tried changing that!

My worst habit is . .
My anger!

People are always surprised when . . .
They see me talking in Hindi!

Women can't say no when...
I take my clothes off!

The fruit I resemble the most..
A Kiwi! As I am rough on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside

At a party, I can't wait to . . .
Get my first drink!

I feel most comfortable when . . .
There are honest people around!

The movie that makes me cry is . . .
Mohobbatein, when Shahrukh opens his violin case with a leaf inside it. As I did something similar to that!

The last time I cried was . . .
When my dadaji expired ( January 2005)

My mother always told me to..
Find a girl and get married!

My father always told me to..
Get a reality check!

Every guy should . . .
Wear boxers!

When I look in the mirror, I see ...
Amit Tandon

I'll get married when...
I find the girl of my dreams

If you heard that you'd been selected as the Sexiest Man Alive
I'll try and find out, who did the polling

Gaurav Chopra: Grooving to the beat

He says, "It's going good. Everyone is just hooked by my natural and devastating performances in recent episodes. And the next episode is even better where I am doing the Singh is King act. I got full marks from both judges so it's really moving for me."

When asked about the war of sexes, he says, "I think boys are doing very well because we have varieties of approaches for the acts we do. We always try to do something different. And for that we are not only getting feedback from judges but also from websites. And we are 'gods of group dancing' as Chunky sir said, so that's an added factor."

When asked about Narayani wanting to go on a deserted Iceland with him and also the heart warming speech for two contestants being benched, he says, "It was just because Narayani had no choice. Also the speech was not part of the show but it all came straight from the heart."

Asked about Delnaz's birthday which falls today, he says, "That's the secret. we have a surprise for her which will come live after our shoot is done today evening."

Mandira Bedi consoles Himani Kapoor after she breaks down on the sets of a show More Pics
What would reality television be without a bit of drama?

Especially when they have to compete for eyeballs at prime time slot with family sagas! Well, seems like production houses and co-participants seem to have taken all that into account. Despite telling us otherwise, reports of these shows being 'scripted' continue gaining momentum. The first one to have admitted that she had a scripted role for Bigg Boss was Kashmera Shah, followed by star anchors who have time and again said, that 'breakdowns' 'arguments' on the reality shows are usually staged. Sample this: if Chetan Hansraj shoving a co-contestant on Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket (9X) wasn't enough, now there's plenty of fisticuffs (yes!) every week. Actor Naman Shaw got embroiled in a fight (first a physical one, then a verbal one), Twinkle Bajpai unashamedly said she's will do 'anything'

to win on the same show, on camera. On another channel, actor Manish Goel broke down on Zara Nachke Dikha , singer Abhijeet who was judging Ek Se Badhkar Ek made a statement that he wouldn't allow Pakistani singers on his show. All seemingly part of the show, but looked 'scripted' from the word go. No wonder then, Abhijeet apologised on TV and Manish seems to have put the episode behind him and is busy rehearsing for his next act. Digging up the reality muck was a participant of the just concluded Waar Pariwar , who even claimed to news channels how her family was told to 'say on camera' they were affected by the '93 blasts in Mumbai, when they spoke about themselves. Another high voltage 'romantic' drama is brewing on Big Boss on Colors, where Rahul Mahajan, Monica Bedi and Payal Rohatgi are essaying lead roles!

Is the masala added to the show really necessary to grab attention? Can't reality shows manage that on their own steam, without creating such controversies? Naman, a participant of Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket , who's not only 'fought' with fellow contestants, but has also argued with the judges, confesses that "no shows come without their share of controversies. We have problems even when we are doing dailies, but no one knows what happens backstage, off-the-camera. It took me three years to establish myself as an actor, I wouldn't say anything to spoil my image would I? But, you have to answer back to people when they hit out at you. If people think badly of you for that, it can't be helped."

Not that this is the first time, such 'fights' have happened during national telecast of TV shows. Singer Himani Kapoor cried copiously when judge Farah Khan rebuked her in Jo Jeeta Wahi Superstar. Twinkle Bajpai who has been in the news for her fighting and screaming on a reality show says, "When you are doing reality shows with 10 different people, everyone's got their own opinion. You sometimes have to make yourself heard. We aren't working according to a script." Something that actor Manish Goel agreed with when he told AT, "everything is real on the reality shows, nothing can be scripted, certainly not the emotions."

However the perspective changes when Rajiv Arora, creative head of reality shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Waar Pariwar , says that "it is in-built in the concept sometimes," he says, "When we do auditions we look for people who know more than singing.

Sometimes music directors aren't 'sporting' about participant eliminations and tend to argue," he says. So, channels aren't trying to cash in on the drama, for TVRs (television rating points) anymore? Prem Kamath, vice president of a leading channel says, "we don't script reality shows, all these events happen naturally. It's just that when people with different personalities and opinions work or perform together, there's bound to be controversy sometimes."

So, the next time you see your favourite TV star 'sobbing' on camera, you can either empathise with him or flip the channel. As long as the TVRs are hitting a high, no one seems to have a problem!

Mouni Roy: Dancer and commander

Mouni Roy is rated as one of the better dancers in ZND. We spoke to her to find out more about her experience on the show.
She says, "Frankly speaking I quite like the format of ZND, its finicky and happening. ZND is very authentic for me as I have been trained in Kathak too. So it's a nice platform all together for me to show off dancing skills".

When asked about her contribution to kudiyon ka team, and about judges' remarks on her dancing, she says, "ZND is not about personal endeavor, it's a team stab. As an entity all I do is give moral support to my team. And this is the most important part of our girl's team. We stand together, supporting each other morally.

"And the judges are very pragmatic on the show especially Malaika Arora. She is damn clear about the steps as she is well trained in dancing. Her every comment is filled up with the essence of dance steps."

About the guys, she comments, "Everyone is equal and whatever happens on the war of sexes is all left there. After the show we all bond on a great scale. And no hassle on a personal level."

Amit says he will be back with a bang

He says, "It's not that I was out of the show. I could have gone ahead and performed but there was a risk as I was not able-bodied so I thought not to bet with that. It would have been dumb to take any risk."

When asked about co-stars missing him, he says, "I personally feel that having such people in my team is an honour. They give you a lot of strength. I feel at home with them."

But he promises to be back with a bang. "Sure I will back with a bang in the next episode adding some exhilarating performance of mine."

He also adds, "I am going to launch my latest album named Tanha in on one of the coming episodes. So right now I am content and excited as well. The mundas team is leading and we will continue till the grand finale this way for sure."

Gaurav Chopra gets difficult

Almost every one associated with Zara Nachke Dikha, the new reality dance show on Star One, is said to be having problems with Gaurav Chopra. A source on the sets says that the actor is getting too difficult to deal with.

Our little birdie on the sets whispers that the boy's team in Zara Nachke Dikha is upset with him as he reports late on the sets and does not co-operate with them. It is also learnt that Bhaktiyar Irani is the one who gets most frustrated with Gaurav's behaviour. The choreographers too are having a tough time teaching him to dance. And the crew too has been complaining about his tantrums.

Hey Gaurav is your break- up with Narayani Shastri taking a toll on yo
