After walking out of the item song in Kidnap , Malaika Arora wasn't exactly thrilled when she was offered the brief role in director Sourabh Kabra's comedy film 'EMI'. The movie required the sexy lady to not just flaunt her oomph quotient, but act as well.

And that apparently made Malaika nervous. It took a little convincing from Arjun Rampal to get her on board.
Arjun joked with her that he would teach her acting while she could teach him how to dance. Malaika agreed to read the script and liked her part.
In the film, she plays a beautiful, zippy and hot girl Nancy who enters Arjun's life and leaves him bankrupt.
The movie also has a fantasy song in which Malaika seduces Arjun. The two actors had to do a great many pelvic thrusts while shooting this song and none of the duo was apprehensive about the dance moves. So good was the understanding between them.
'EMI' has Sanjay Dutt playing a recovery agent who hounds those people who default on their loans. The movie also stars Urmila Matondkar , Neha Oberoi , Ashish Choudhary and Kulbhushan Kharbanda
