the atmosphere was engulfed by silence, as the two newly wed couple sat without even exchanging a word with each other.. they only stole some glances now and then but finally they had enough of the silent treatment as they said "woh.." in unison. And looked away embarassed..

"Fine now I only have to do something.. survi buck up or else your buddhuram husband won't even talk with you" survi said to herself as she mustered courage and said "mujhe paani chahiye."

Karthik: saamne hi toh bottle padi hai,peelo.
Survi drank water and again silence followed.. but survi was adamant to make him accept her as his wife come whatever may.. she atleast wanted him to behave as a friend like before.
She suddenly switched on the FM radio making karthik look at the player and then at her raising his eyebrows as if asking her the reason..
Survi: kyaa?! Mein bohot bore horahi thi so i switched it on..
Karthik shook his head at her but soon their eyes widened as the song played

'saanson ko saanson mein dhalne do zara
dheemi si dhadkan ko badhne do zara
lamhon ki guzarish hai yeh paas aa jaayen
hum.. hum tum..
tum.. hum tum..'

Karthik with great difficulty averted his eyes off her and concentrated on the road.. the distance between shreekant kaka's house and his house was a shorter one of about 15 to 20 mins. but he didn't knew why it now felt like a journey of hours.. and on addition to it,, his friend turned wife was making it more difficult for him.. survi hid a smile seeing him behave so weirdly..
He finally dicided to change the channel but fate was not on his side this time also as the next song played

' Jaane do na..Paas aao na.
O.. jaane do na,,Hmm.. paas aao na.
Chhuo na, chhuo na mujhe...
chhuo na, chhuo na,,
Dekho chhuo na, chhuo na, chhuo na..'

Now it was impossible for him to behave so politely.. and to his dismay the song was acting like fuel for his burning desire.. he stopped the car with a jerk which made survi to look at him confused

Survi: kya hua karthik?? Aapne gadi kyu rokh di?
Her eyes widened as karthik leaned close to her side..
Survi: ka.. karthik.. a..aap yeh kya kar rahe hai?!!
Karthik: mein kuch bhool gaya tha survi..

And saying so he leaned further making her more nervous..

'Zulfon mein teri aaj kaisi hawaa hai
Mausam ki saazish hai ya imtehaan hai..
Zulfon mein teri aaj kaisi hawaa hai
Mausam ki saazish hai ya imtehaan hai...'

his breath faned her earlobe sending shiver down her spine..

'Bujhe na bujhaaye woh nasha hai
Roke na rukaaye woh balaa hai
Hmm.. aatish mein paani hai, paani jala hai'

she looked so delicate and precious,, her eyes closed, her breath becoming shallower by passing seconds,, she clutched her dupatta while her lips quivered... she seemed like an angel.. she was indeed his angel,He thought.

' O.. jaane do na
Hmm.. paas aao na
Chhuo na, chhuo na mujhe
chhuo na,chhuo na
Dekho chhuo na, chhuo na, chhuo na'

Survi gathered her courage and dared to ask what he wants in a low but husky voice "kya.."
Her voice brought karthik out of his trance and he suddenly grabbed the water bottle which was kept beside her seat.
Karthik: Paani..!

He went back to his previous position straightening himself.
Survi's eyes shot opened "KYAA??!!" She asked him confused.. as karthik showed his the bottle he was holding after gulping half of it to calm down his raised nerves..

Karthik: paani..pyaas lagi thi mujhe toh.. tumhe chahiye??

He forwarded the bottle to her but she instead choose to look away,, here she was anticipating his close proximity but he,, he seemed more interested in that stupid water bottle.. survi frowned at the thought. Karthik resumed his driving and this time it was survi who switched off the player and karthik smirked at survi as she looked away embarassed..he chuckled a bit guessing what she might have thought.,, but soon his smile faded as he remembered aniket.. he have to find out him first and also catch hold of the kidnapper. This time he was determined to teach that kidnapper such a lesson that no one in future will try to mess with his family ever...
Soon the car came to halt as survi looked up to realise that they've reached home. her new home.. "their home" she smiled as her new beginning, her new life, and her new family.
