Part 8 - Over the past few days Karthik has been hanging out with Simmran to make sure that she falls for him completely. It was working and he had managed to make Simmran against Survi. Today he was going to make one final blow to their sisterly bond and initiation of his Plan B. But nothing could have gone according to his plan as his plan had a flaw. The more the distant Simmran became from Survi, the more closer came Karan or this was what Karthik thought. Jealousy always got the best of him and he always ended up doing a mess. He was fighting hard, against his growing feelings. Those innocent eyes haunted him as if it was him who was a criminal. It made him rethink his assumed judgements but seeing her with Karan would shatter his heart and indeed cloud his ability to think straight and logical. Today when Survi entered the Barve mansion, she was shocked to find the whole Barve family in the hall along with Simmran Karan and their aai. Karthik looked at Survi and began his act. " I think I should tell everyone what is going inside my head". He glanced at her from the corner of his eyes and knew that he got the full attention. " Simmran, the past few days I had spend with you were one of my best in the past 8 years". Everyone looked confused bit Survi who knew karthik more than him was dreading where his talks were going. " Marry me, Simmran" proposed karthik as he sat on his knees and held her hand. Everyone was shocked. He looked at her and raised his eyebrow seeing her eyes moist. A part of her was crying coz he was going too far in this revenge game of his and the other part could not handle him being someone else's. Karan looked at her and his hands fisted. Survi had to save Simmran and thus she stepped towards Karthik one by one. Karthik knew that she will definitely oppose his decision and this is where she will lose Simmran forever. " Ye shaadi nhi ho ho sakti" shouted Survi and everyone stared at her confused. Simmran's face twisted in annoyance and her aai asked " Kyu simmy, tujhe kya problem hai jab Simmran aur Karthik dono Raazi hai". " kyunki kaki karthik Simmran se pyaar nhi karte, sirf Natak kar rahe hai". Tai fell into a deep thought at this accusation as Aniket asked " Bhai aisa kyu karenge simmy". " Haan bolo simmy main aisa kyu karoonga" repeated karthik smirking. Survi started to blurt out but then remembered that if she will expose karthik her truth will also come out and tai will then try to harm Karthik. She stopped as he thought " kya hua survi, may be you realised that if you will try to expose me your treachery would come out ". Survi went to Simmran and said " Maine tujhe bataya tha na Simmran...Karan bolo na" ." Simmran simmy sahi keh rahi hai" supported he as Simmran facepalmed him " karan you just stay out of it, I don't know what sort of lies she had fed you that you can't just see her real ugly face but I will unmask her" and with that Simmran venomously spat out all the incidents she had witnessed and karthik had told her of how simmy tried to seduce him. Aniket now remembered that bathroom incident and felt cheated. Survi didn't give a damn to bitchy remarks thrown at her by the lot of people present there but She won't let simmran get destroyed. She again stepped forward but this time Karan held her wrist. She pleaded him with moist eyes but he refused. He started to drag her away but was suddenly halted. Survi looked at her other hand and found it being held by a tight grip. She looked at those blazing eyes who bore directly in to hers. Simmran was utterly confused and shocked and so was everyone. Tai thought " simmy sahi boli kartya tu iss Simmran se pyaar kar ich nhi sakta, kyunki tera Sara dhyaan or gussa toh simmy par nikalta hai". Karthik stared at Karan hand who was holding hers. ( that tune plays when he had seen that old jerk trying to held her hand in party). He then again fixed his eyes on her as he slowly leaned forward making her close her eyes. He kept staring at her as he stood almost face to face with her, almost close. He then without moving his eyes away even for a split second extended his free hand towards his right and snapped away Karan's hand. She felt it and opened her eyes. Her eyes widened as he was so close. Their eyes got locked ( yvr plays). She looked away when she remembered of his announcement from a few moments ago and so he dragged her away into his room. He threw her on the bed and walked away announcing angrily " you are going to spend your night here, in this room, on this bed with me". That evening Karthik kept hitting the punching bag in his room hurting his hand. She had tried to stop him and this fueled him all the more that even after all this insult, she was caring for him. " acting to care, karthik" he reminded himself and was going to punch the bag once again when she came in front. He held her by her neck and pushed her to a nearby wall. " don't you even try and this acting of yours can't save you from me today" and with that he leaned closer with the intention of kissing her. She tried to turn her face but he held it . He leaned more closer and stared at her shut eyes already overflowing with tears, her scrunched eyebrows, her heavy breathing. He smiled sadly and removing his hands from her neck left the room. " Karthik agar mere dard mein aapki khushi hai toh theek hai, ye survi peeche nahi hategi" and saying this she went into bathroom. Someone entered the room and fitting a camera left. Karthik enterred the room and removed his T-shirt and again starting punching practice. The door opened and he looked in that direction. He froze as she stepped out in only a towel covering her naked body. "damnit" cursed he as he turned away from the computer. She looked curiously at the screen. " I will kill your brother"." calm down karan, dada survi k saath kuch ulta seedha nahi karenge bdw your idea of camera was a good one". She slowly approached him as he kept staring at her. " kya hua karthik, you ordered me to spend this night with you in this room on this bed with you". He was in another world. His feeling were out of control. He approached her and put his hands on her shoulders. She was tensed. Having him so close that too bare bodied was intimidating her . " no survi if you are that much scared right now, how will you handle it when he will come too close " thought survi and stared in his eyes she could see his eyes burning with passion. He made her sit on bed and leaned in. CLIFFHANGER!
