In real life, Everything depends upon the way case is presented in front of the court, Varun will obviously say that Mishti murdered his brother and her not confessing it on the spot or going away from there puts her as someone who was trying to run away from the law but post mortem report will prove that he died from alcohol poisoning.

But CVs covered this too -

1 Abir didn't know that the guy was drunk and would die when he moved Mishti from there

2 Mishti wasn't concious

Situation remains the same be it one hour after accident or one month

Abir can't prove what happened was in self-defense, in this case Mishti's testimony is very important but she didn't come to terms with the act being committed in defense till about a week ago

CVs are showing us what happened, and they have covered pretty much everything as we have to judge it

I am actually unable to figure out what's right in this situation, if Abir had turned Mishti in for confession expecting that she will be freed on the grounds of self-defense, which is her right and verdict of court would have punished Mishti for a crime she didn't commit then the situation would have been same. A victim paying for not getting raped and Abir would have regretted his decision

Point being, They don't have evidence as Self-defense is very hard to prove, I don't know what I would have done in this situation, I definitely wouldn't have cared about the man who tried to rape the girl

Abir doesn't know that the court won't give Mishti "Fansi" for this, I don't think he consulted a lawyer, Mishti being trained in self-defense, did just that, she didn't use the right moves but she did defend herself, The guy died of alcohol poisoning, he would have died even if Mishti didn't do anything, The wound on his head was not the reason for his death.

1 What Mishti did was in self-defense, that too after Karan hit her in the head, Mishti was semi concious when she hit Karan

he was hit on head by Mishti & so fell unconscious & died of alcohol overdoes, would he still die if he had been conscious & not been knocked off will be a question here

2 Karan didn't die because of his head wound, He died due to overdose of alcohol/alcohol poisoning

3 Abir didn't run away from the spot, He took his injured wife to a cab and came back to take the guy but police was already there and informed him that the guy died due to alcohol poisoning

4 Abir's concealment of his wife's involvement in it, is not a crime. Husband and Wife are the exception under IPC 212

Morally Wrong/Right but legally definitely not wrong.

Mishti would get sympathy because she was doing what any woman would do when attacked and on the verge of molestation, People do have sympathy for the rapist but I tend to ignore them because they do nothing but blame women for walking late at night, wearing short dresses, "asking for it"

we were talking about the Mishti's characterisation part, the so called 'angry chorni' who saved kuhu form those goons, saved herself from baba & goons during baba track, does so little to protect herself, is quite unbelievable TBH

It was very clearly mentioned in dialogues that he died of alcohol poisoning, alcohol poisoning kills people regardless of them being hit on their head, I would have considered that a possibility in real life but the show has mentioned that the guy died due to alcohol poisoning/overdose, They didn't leave a room for doubt there, did they?

What little did she do? She slapped him and pushed him, He pushed her and her head hit the pillar and she started bleeding, she was in a semi concious state and managed to defend herself, what more do we expect from her?

Mishti has done enough to protect herself. When she hit her head . She started bleeding n losing conscious dan also she protected her honor. We can't expect an unconscious person to certainly become Jackie Chan. In baba's track first der was women who helped her escape d goons n dan when she was kidnapped in a house she found match stick n kerosene which helped her to escape . I must say dey showed her escape pretty nicely with out showing her to become super woman suddenly. Here she didn't huv anything to help herself. But still she fought enough

there is no point in knowing legal procedures because in show they dont apply as I already mentioned in few posts above

also my point was that because he was unconscious and thats why he couldnt seek help, usually a person vomits, calls hospital/police/friends/family when he feels he had had too much of alcohol & is losing his senses, since he died of alcohol overdose, not alcohol poisoning etc.

it is unbelievable to see Mishti not using her Karate skills, I wish she Karate-chopped the guy such that he ended up fracturing a limb atleast, it would have given such a great message to the viewers to not mess with a girl seeing her alone at night

but the chose to show Mishti scared, the Lady Singham who handled the professional goons so well to save Kuhu, was knocked off by a drunkard!!

p.s. I guess we should agree to disagree since we clearly see things from different perspective & this being a fictional show leaves room for the viewers' interpretation

Before mishti could use her karate skills he pushed her and she was wounded and was about to faint I think its possible if a person is wounded or about to faint cannot fight back.
