I do feel one can look to fall back on long term relationships in these testing times, I hope that works in YRHPK's favour and the show returns to our screens as and when the situation permits. *fingers crossed*

Ever since they axed the few shows in sony, I have been thinking the same thing. But I think the probability of the show being cancelled is pretty low since it was doing well in the TRP chart before the lockdown.

I do feel that once the shoot resumes and the shows are on air again, there will be a cut-throat competition to win the TRP race. This will of course affect the storylines of the shows. I think the first victim of the this TRP race will be Kuhu. I fear that they will change her character for the worse in order to create more drama, which of course means more TRP.

But yes I agree with you that the shoot is unlikely to resume in the next few months because COVID can spread rapidly and infect a very high number of people in a short period of time. Where I live, there were barely any cases in March but now there are more than 4400 people dead, so I am sure that the lockdown in India will not be lifted till the end of summer. ( Which I think is the best course of action) Let's hope for the best 😊

I have to say I think this show will survive because TRP was high when the show went off air. They left on a cliffhanger and the fandoms are still super active so I don't think we need to worry about its survival.

I am more worried about what Nikki said about the makers butchering Kuhu's character.

As @dreamygal says, that's the great thing about visual storytelling, everyone can take away different things from the same scene.

We definitely see the same character differently but since you've decided to discuss it, I will.

The bangle scene: I think you are right about Kuhu wanting to have a conversation with Mishti. How I see that scene is Kuhu being the stylist to Mishti. They both always dress each other up and Mishti has always appreciated Kuhu's sense of style and dressing and we have seen so many scenes where Kuhu is curling her hair or getting a dress for her and that was exactly what she was doing because even though, she was angry with her for stealing her divorce papers even after repeatedly being told not to interfere, she considers her as her sister in her heart. Both Mishti and Kuhu have always moved on with things by talking normally after a fight which indicates they are ready to move on. (Hell, I do that in daily life)

Mishti decided to not engage but she did show that she was not okay with the mandap thing. And since that was brought up, what both of them needed was to act like adults and talk it through. Mishti needed to apologise for interfering (which she never did or did feel any remorse for) and Kuhu needed to let Mishti have her day in the sun but since both of them didn't budge, things again went how they do.

Kuhu decided to put her thoughts in front of Mishti and tell her what she wanted where as per usual, Mishti agreed to her demands and then showed she didn't trust Kuhu by arranging another mandap atop the bus.

Yes, Kuhu was annoyed with Mishti during her wedding but that is because in her opinion, this is what always happens. Mishti agrees to something but goes behind her back and does something else.

Regarding the selfie thing, I don't really know why that scene was put in but frankly, a selfie doesn't take a whole lot of time. The shaadi needed to start in the next 5 mins. One selfie wouldn't have really made the difference. Utna time to Mishti ne aise bhi laga diya tha ye bataane me ki wo aur Abir baahar kya kar rahe hain. Iss se better selfie khichwa kar positions exchange kar lete dono couples. The time spent in the whole family running out and then being explained what was happening and then praising the idea, time to waise bhi nikal gaya tha na.

coming to saying sorry, i dont even think mishti needs to say sorry, galti se hua but until jas read papers even mishti dont know what are those, so i dont even think of a sorry for that esply when its mishku... they fight they move on... but sorry vo bolenge nahi until its very hurtful like kuhu said in janamshtami thing, before too both shared many but they never said sorry to each other...

yes kuhu is stylist and mishti likes kuhu's dressing but the way kuhu gave bangles after slapping her will not go well with anyone... even they share bond like abinal or mishku... so breaking ice is waste because its no use...

coming to mandap... mishti took abir and ran away she didnt even inform family , jugnu did it and after mishti taking abir away kuhu asked for selfie... mishti never left her rights esply when it comes to abir, kud ke liye she keep everything aside but abir ke liye she wont...

Okay, Ruhi. Now, you're just defending Mishti when it's not needed and definitely not plausible.

If you expect Kuhu to say sorry for every wrong she has done till now, then Mishti needs to apologise for deliberately ransacking Kuhu's cupboard, stealing the papers and opening them too, even after being repeatedly told to stay out of the matter. Jas may have announced it loudly but atleast what she does is on the face. You can't have it both ways ki Mishti ko sorry nahi bolna chahiye but kuhu ko bolna chahiye. That's not fair.

Also, coming to the selfie thing, Kuhu has *always* been shown to click one perfect selfie and never has needed to click a second one. She is talented like that.

What I don't get is the constant negative light people keep choosing to see this relationship in. They share a love-hate relationship and it's been portrayed as realistically as can possibly shown on TV. So, I really don't understand the villianising of Kuhu's character. Agar aise shuru karein hum to Mishti bhi koi doodh se dhuli nahi hai. So, can we just leave this discussion where it is because there is no way the show is going to return for another 2-3 months because of how the situation is in Maharashtra. So, why are we spoiling our mood when the people who actually have something to gain by doing this are chilling at home. Let's also chill and have fun. We all come to the forum because of our love for the show and the characters and the story so instead of focussing on things we don't like, can we not focus on the good things?
