haan yaar i would want both to see each others pain for abir its about mishti's home breaker tag, he needs to bring her out of it n make sure she gets the dignity in that house... for mish she needs to see that not an outsider or anyone but how he is hurt bcoz of his family n be with him n support him.. she is the only meds to his every pain...

So he will defiantly have the first impulse to do what comes first in his mind... and he never keeps himself before family

I kind of liked abhir frankly telling Mishti that when he sees tension or problem in the family he does what his first instinct is.... he does something which can stop the damage like a bandage stops the blood following from the cut
But that may or may not be the permanent solution
note mishbir will have to learn a lot of things going through life together

Regarding Kunal truth coming out I think there is a reason for such reveal

I completely agree that maha family wasn’t taken into consideration
But coming under Abhirs influence after the naukarani kaand where all call and consider Parul as a servant and to an extent even meenu, its the quick impulse with which Kunal declare Parul as his mother in front of the world ... not caring that his in-laws were not even aware about this situation

These both dialogue has a connection.. Abir gets hurt n feels the pain of each member of the family when there is a fight n he wants to give them immediate relief n he never cared even if in that process he will get hurt..

he just follows his instinct on what can reduce their pain.. he expressed his emotions n also answered her question on how he tries to keep family together..

example baba track end he was the one who bough baba to that house when he realized he is the one reason for the fight n problem in family his first thought was to take him away from the family... he even said while taking mehul out "i'm taking him away, apse dur"... n then he had his private confrontation... he followed his instinct there.. he didnt care how he felt about the sudden truth but his first thought was taking him away from family...his only mistake there was not informing family about his thoughts or what he is gonna do..

coming back to the topic

he didnt agree he is right nor did he say he wants her to follow him he just advised her to follow her instinct like he had done n she will do the right thing by herself...

when she asked what if things go out of hand like what if she wasnt able to manage the situation even after following her instincts...

abirs reply is something he promised her i'll be a step behind you so that i can catch you when you fall.. so here he said come to your partner n i'll always be there for you... abir believes in giving mish lead n let her handle things..(to know more about this read uru's shiv parvathi post)❤️

note there they are not talking about what happened but on what can they do in future when they are put in such a situation.. here they are only talking about managing a situation not finding a solution there is a difference between both...

here mish got two things his emotions when family fight happens, his advice about following her instinct... before she returned the papers to kunal she thought of only these two things which she understood from abir...

she knew kunal hasnt given her this on own but on meenu insistence.. kuhu is not happy with it... so she knew this will bring problem in family which will mean again a cut for abir(he will feel be hurt), and also she knew its not her rights as its kunals hardwork... she followed her instinct of doing right n also made sure family n inturn abir is not hurt.. both things went hand in hand in this situation.. she did the right thing n also didnt bring a jhagda in family by explaining why she is doing this n also showed her acceptance "message received"..

this is her first success of handling a family situation... this is the same mish i wanted who do the right thing, the girl who refused to work with bp as she wanted to be independent.. she returned something which is rightfully not hers... here she handled it more maturely by doing everything in open n right person n time..

they knew this is not gonna be the same in all situation.. thats why the second dialogue what if things go out of hand... that is related to the party kunal giving parul the right... here they did right but then situation has gone out of hand.. we are yet to see how they will handle all this...

but i agree that abir takes decision through his heart and mishti takes decisions through her brain...

That is both of them fail miserably...they need to work together to get best decision.

I saw a role reversal where Mishti decided to make decisions through her heart (i.e) Abir band aid strategy which will give a temporary relief to the wound but will not heal and Abir kind of working through the facts i.e giving advices to kunal to do the right thing instead of spoon feeding his nanko).

Again they will fail, both of their approach in dealing the issues is incorrect , it might will never heal it but because she just decide to give away the company ownership at the heat of the moment when she saw kuhu upset face because quite some hours ago she was happy when BB discussed with the family about giving the ownership to her though she knew kunal didn't give away the ownership on his own at that time. It is after she spoke to BM she decided to walk along with abir in dealing with the family issues. Abir was happy because he know his bro is not at all happy about changing the ownership to mishti...Kuhu confessed it openly during holi dhahan and next in the courtyard when she was bad mouthing mishti...Abir gave a satisfaction/ proud smile to his wife because he thought kuhu will be happy now, so nanko happy, family happy and he is happy. Little did he know her primary love is for RV's surname, sports car and the fame she will get being a Redpair travels owner's wife.

You gave me something to think about.😊And infact I was thinking that Abir certainly has this habit of 'managing first and explaining later' . and it certainly explains his band aid theory.

When something happens, he tries to manage it first instead of explaining, like the boutique scene where he went behind Kunal first without even talking to Mishti.

Even after doing the 'managing first' he is reluctant to give any explainations since in his mind it always equals as justifications. And he always prevents Mishti also from giving justifications, like in the pre party of Kuku wedding he stopped Mishti from giving justifications to Kunal.

Somehow, your theory also fits how he handled Kuhu. When Kuhu was badmouthing Mishti he didn't find it necessary to give any explainations to Kuhu about what he thinks about Mishti. Also, it fits how he stops people from giving justifications.

He is a person who understands people (or he thinks he understands) without them giving any explainations for their behaviour. For eg, in the initial episodes he wanted Mishti to understand his love without him declaring it.

He expresses his love through actions. Mishti is a person who needs words also to know someone loves her.

Somehow, his band aid theory can have a positive impact on Mishti or maybe it can backfire also.

He made her think abt the fact that more than the truth sometimes you have to try to understand the emotions of other people also before taking a decision.

uff finally i'm able to reply to you 😆 actually i have said about only the damage control part like abir going behind kunal in boutique the next reaction part has a difference.... 😆

the thing is abir dealing of situation varies by situation involving truth n other a general damage control...

firstly in general damage control like boutique n also pre party all that doesnt involve any truth it solely depends on the persons trust on another n understanding... everything is out in open its a misunderstanding so he expects people to understand like he does with them... so doesnt give any explanation until they ask for n he himself doesnt ask too... which mish actually needs more than situation involving truth... 😆

then situation involving truth thats the time he goes silent n doesnt say or do anything before he understands everything n try to analyse.. for his own truth too he doesnt give justification but tries to explain himself in a sorry kind of explanation like hiding helping kunal, kunal running away, even breakup he would've said maybe its to protect kunal but nothing more but as mish already knew the truth he never felt it necessary to say mish the truth.. even with mish he knew someone forced her when he got to know its meenu he didnt ask for further explanation... just a reason for action n truth is enough for him to let go of matter... even with baba the fraud truth was enough to let go he never questioned why they hid this all these years if matter was only about fraud, if meenu didnt bring kunal truth he would've never known or asked...

simply for situation with truth he needs a reason n himself gives basic reason... for situation for damage control he expects n himself understands n never goes for explanation... 😆 but he fails to understand people expect explanation for the damage control more than truth... 😆

@bold - Yes actually this will backfire in situations... mish needs to work on understanding people emotions n abir needs to think more widely on all aspects n saying the truth to everyone but with perfect timing... they need to find a middle ground..

haan exactly he is still yet thinking in family pov as in whole family... he is yet to know the boundary between family n husband n wife.. abir bhi impulsive hai when it comes to family...

both boys are a little impulsive at times yaar... actually the thing they mostly they dont plan things n do, but do according to their instinct... abir on his own thoughts n kunal after he gets influenced by abir or meenu or anyone... balance is still missing...
