Highlights of the week

I finally binge watched all the episodes from last week. Let me first rant and talk about the issues which perturbed me.

- Random song dance sequences: Not sure about others but the Badtameez Dil sequence was random and totally misplaced. This show has this tendency to break into random song dance sequences which trivialize the importance of the situation. Maybe the director has a song dance fetish. Please control and use it judiciously writers 😆

- Haphazard editing: The makers should work more towards maintaining continuity in the show and the progression from one scene to another. In some episodes, its a lot more apparent than the rest.

- Am ignoring the IT Raid sequence because it was random and devoid of logic 🤪

Now that am done ranting, let me praise the scenes I liked. I personally loved almost every single conversation between Abhir-Mishti. The biggest strength of this show has always been the fact that the leads actually talk with each other. I feel like the writers haven't used this to their full potential yet due to their penchant for drama and random song dance routine. My most favorite moment of last week was when Abhir realized that Mishti did not leave him alone and was trying to locate him (with a rented scooty which she can't drive :D). That instant happiness on his face and the scene that followed was really well done with the right mix of humor and subtle romance. I really liked that tiny bit where he helps her wear the helmet and taps on it to make sure she is comfortable. Looked super cute 😆 And then his joke about feeling unsafe with Mishti and Mishti's reaction. I really liked how Abhir just hoped for her smile to be preserved. Nothing more, nothing less.

The next favorite moment of course came from yesterday's episode. I liked how Abhir explained why he did what he did and also the fact that he realized his mistake much later. I have been waiting for a heartfelt emotional conversation between Abhir-Mishti wherein they discuss the cross-connection and the disastrous outcome. This conversation was too small but am glad we atleast got one. I liked how Abhir instantly recognized that something was bothering Mishti and the fact that he reierated how both Mishti and Kunal are equally important to him (hope the writers remember this and don't pull some ridiculous sacrifice drama in the future just because Kunal does not approve of Mishti). That apart. Abhir's infectious energy upon discovering that Kunal-Kuhu is a possibility and he can finally romance Mishti in peace was adorable 😆Am not too convinced about Mishti jumping the bandwagon though. I hope they show her thinking about the cross-connection fiasco at least once and worrying about whether Kunal is even ready for a marriage instead of randomly jumping into match making.

P.S. I hope the writers take cue and cut down on the song dance sequences. Get the characters to talk, form an emotional connect (which is Abhir and Mishti's biggest strength) and please cut out on Meenu and badi maa nonsense. Thank you 😆

ACTUally Last part i even not understood how mishti was happy after knowing kuhu liking toward kunal i mean courtship made her know kunal better way and she would have understood that banda is mcp and should have thought that kuhu is nadan to fall for his looks but now i feel she just broken the marriage because of abir rest was just a lecture just cvs wanted to show us that she broken because of she got to know kunal

but her only reason for breaking is abir done those thing which she liked in face of kunal as even when at last when abir asked the reason she told woh koshish karna nahin chahta tha aur mein kisi aur se koshish karwana nahin chahti thi

kaveri in her interview told mishti just want to rectify her misstake of being rude to kunal after knowing he had gone through heartbreak from abir why M is feeling bad for being rude to kunal when was she actually rude to him it was kunal who always done nonsense&lied to her&even was rude to her

i feel mishti is now following abir blindly whatever he think it becomes her ajib aadmi perspective AND DOES THING without using her brain

because this was not same mishti who given such a big lecture to kunal after breaking or it may be that in subconscious mind she even want to be with abir thats why she just want kuku so that she even not has to face hurdle

abir toh is happy mainly because of his path being clear and even for his brother but more excited for his own love story

Abhir being excited for Kunal-Kuhu is not surprising.

A. Because of his own love story. He is relieved noone will bring up Kunal-Mishti after this and he doesn't have to feel too guilty about falling in love with Kunal's almost fiancee when Kunal's love life gets sorted out.

B. I don't think Abhir has ever believed that Kunal has issues or he is not ready for marriage. Even on the day of the engagement, he primarily blamed his mom and I feel he thinks Kunal is fundamentally different and marriage to a nice girl will resolve whatever other issues he has. Flawed thinking it is but Abhir genuinely seems to believe this 😆

About Mishti, am surprised she hasn't once thought about how stubborn Kunal is or how problematic some of his principles are. It is not just about Abhir acting on behalf of Kunal. There were several other glaring issues. The only explanation I can come up with is that Mishti believes she and Kunal are not compatible but Kuhu is a completely different person and given the fact that she has this full blown crush on him, they can probably strike a balance. I just hope they atleast show her thinking of these issues.

Haha Abhir is like this over-excited kid who is too happy that there is no more Kunal-Mishti and there is still hope for Kunal to find his happily ever after. This way both get what they want without anyone getting hurt. Unfortunately Abhir does not understand that marriage is not the solution to Kunal's problems. Ditto with Meenu. For all the bhashan Abhir gives to people, this thought process of his is far from progressive 😆

3. regarding fake-true proposal-Abir aisa ni krenge vo jaante hai mera rishta abi toota hai unke bhai ke saath.

I feel she's trying ki is baar sahi se aa. No one should blame them for jumping with each other this soon and this being the reason for breaking off the alliance

Makes me wonder she has joined the dots and have to conclusion and he feels something else but then her prodding doesn't make sense"tum itne khush kyu ho rahe ho?" if she's trying that he just don't admit to things sooner

But then uska response ki Abir uski family ke help krne ke liye bus chod di, makes me think she is not used to the care of anyone outside the family

Rahi baat Abir ki I seriously think he wants nanko happy so badly he's ready to do anything. Usko lag raha hai Kuhu ke pyaar se he'll heal. Kahi baar self healing ki zaroorat hoti hai, Abir bhai. Or things ka natural course ki bhi.

Maybe I'm overthinking and it's just a show at the end. I love all of them truly. meant no disrespect to anyone

Word about the lame ass song and dance sequences. I didn’t even bother watching yesterday’s epi cuz of how stupid the precap looked with the imaginary Ishq wala love stuff 🙄🙄.

Kunal and Kuhu are maha pakaau. I’ve been forwarding their scenes but now they are literally being inserted into every AM scene with this forced instant matchmaking stuff. Mehh. This is where the show goes off the rails. The forced attempts at screen space without any coherent story. AM only get crumbs while one dimensional characters are thrust in for mindless song and dance.

And I am still put off by how easily Kunal’s behavior is being whitewashed in the guise of so called “bhai prem”. Mishti herself seems to have forgotten how he treated her. Lol what a joke all the thought processes in this show are. Sabko Bas shaadi obsession hai while timepass lectures continue for appearance.

I think you should watch their conversation from yesterday. I personally liked it tbh and have a feeling you'l like it too 😆 Din't care for the dream sequence but the scene before that was well done. Abhir finally explained his POV and Mishti got to see to what extent Abhir can go for his loved ones. I also liked how Abhir said both Kunal and Mishti are equally important to him. Word about the editing. I hope they don't juxtapose random scenes together and ruin the impact of the good AM scenes.

Regarding Kunal, am honestly not surprised with Abhir tbh. He is under this misconception that everything is Meenu's fault and all of Kunal's issues will be resolved once he marries a nice girl. No wonder he is jumping at the prospect of Kunal-Kuhu. Its Mishti who surprises me. But then I forgot she is the female lead of a daily soap and she is bound to react this way.

P.S. I hope the writers surprise us by making her contemplate the fact that Kunal is just not ready for marriage and worry about Kuhu but am not holding my breathe. Right now am only hoping they don't ruin AM and give them a decent arch 😆

They could have gone ki Kuhi vapis kaam pe aa gai hai and slowly steadily Kunal Kuhu ko marriage prospect dekhne laga. what they are doing now Kunal gusse me ye bhi keh skta muje kisi se shaadi ni krni(I'd do that too) and Kuhu will again do blame game.

I'd have been happy with a single scene jisme Abir khali ye bol deta mai Nanko se puch ke dekhta hoon what he feels. But No? maybe later we'll have this scene once they get back to Rajkot

Hume dance sequence mil jata hai. I'm ecstatic about it as a shipper. bechara sapne hi dekh pa raha hai kya kre🤣

and like my other post I'd have preferred ki ek baar mai nanko ka mann jaan k dekhuga but aisa hua ni

I'm hoping Bade Papa will drill some sense in the most affectionate and polite way he does
