Despite this annoying rishta flip flop and Kunal-Kuhu's characterization, I guess I like AM enough to continue watching the show and try to make sense of things

Hence the fast forwarding. I'm too unable to root for Kunal and Kuhu if they ar direclty gonna jump to marriage the very next second they are back in Rajkot

Lol they have a really myopic view of the audiences if they think the only way they can avoid Kunal being written off as a character is by showing the leads justify his behavior 😕😆.

Instead, a good writer would show the evolution of a character to help connect the audience and give them enough credit that they can comprehend how human nature can change with time and circumstance. But to instead just pretend that a problem doesn’t even exist and ML loves this character so you love him too? What asinine logic 🙄. It will only disconnect the audience more from this forced character. Frankly the writers are just being lazy and taking the easy route. The storylines are mostly a set of gimmicks and they don’t seem interested in anything other than standalone scenes.

Lol Ofcourse I’m still watching only for AM too. But that won’t stop me from calling out the problematic behavior of Kunal being whitewashed by Abir and Mishti.

Highlights.

i liked Ishq wala love. Screen age 30 year old male has the right to build castles in the air as he has fallen hook , line and sinker for a moral science teacher.

The chitter chatter between Mishti and Abir is fun. Miss Prim and Proper goes crazy with Mr. Funnybones.

Nanu and Bade Papa are more realistic characters.

They draw parallels. Also Naman was put to use

The leads are given more screen time, kuhu is really a part of the plot.

Fine details like jugnu passing on Abir's number to kuhu

Shortcomings

Weak story line. Again Kunal ka Rishta.

Editing.

Dance face offs on Sangeet or Wedding tracks are okay. Badtameez dil was fine with Kuhu breaking into some impromtu bathroom numbers. Getting Abir and Mishti into the same frame was disconnecting. Mr.Rajvansh was just flinging his hands and those NGO girls here and there. Rap numbers do not blend, the ML is no M C Sher of Gully Boy. it is not needed. Slow numbers are better. Shaheer does a very good job, subject his character going into some dream mode.

Supporting cast.

Nidhi exhibits sarcasm and she gets attention, what abt other characters. No spunk. Lets keep Nanu, Bade Papa and BB aside.

Star Plus and their promotional activities.

This entire track has been written to suit hostages. Mataji is spending lakhs on VFX and getting a 50 year old Mr. B to unveil only the logo of his empire. Whereas the original RB of KzK1 is fixed in as an advertisement. They have done the same blunder earlier ,, random Jasmeet and Kuhu talking about this particular webseries. Idk why they chose YRHPK, i mean kidnapping was going on in KZK2 also, Prithvi carrying out resuce mission was so damn appropriate. Ad budgets are decided only those who rake in trps ? yahan Ishq wala love hasn't even appeared on Sitara's online handles. Biggest shortcoming. Sitara has to learn from Rangeela, montages are attractive, once in a month promos even if they are on off air spree these days.

Creatives need to more creative.

Frankly I don't care about Star's strategy or promotions. And I don't watch any other show right now so am indifferent to everything else thats happening.

YRHPK does have issues like we have been discussing. Superficial writing, mediocre editing, annoying characters, melodrama etc etc. But I personally liked most of the Abhir-Mishti's conversations last week. And like I mentioned in my previous post, I guess I like AM enough to tolerate the inconsistencies for now. They have a lot of potential. The writers just need to explore them, give them proper scenes and actual conversations and stop juxtaposing them with Kunal-Kuhu and Parul-Meenu 🤪

That apart, I don't really care about promotions or TRPs. Just hope its good enough to sustain and enable the writers to tell their story without too much tweaking to increase the ratings. And I would be happy if it doesn't last for more than 1.5-2 years because Indian shows turn unbearable post that anyway 😆

the heart part i watched it again

and the thing was shown was of heart merging that is both collour merged you can watch thatin abir side it was mixture of blue and pink and on mishti side even there was traces of pink

in outer of heart there was some lines

so i feel it was a way of makers to show that both abir and mishti who are walking side by side will merge in each other colour

but it will create chaos in outside world(basically family like there can be fight between kunal and abir and many more) but they will be together as their heart was still fully in shape

i still feel although kuku story has started but mishbir confession will be first as rhea today in segment was asking that who will confess frst mishti or abir just in matchmaking of kuku mishti will understand what is love how we know we are in love which our headmasterji of love school will make her understand and this will make her realise her love for abir as they are very much in love just not confessed and mishti not even has realised but her action tell us and even abir the other thing

Completely agree. I think viewers will find Kunal a lot more endearing if he has an actual arch. Wherein they acknowledge the problem and then show a proper redemption. I guess thats too much hardwork and the writers would rather not spend so much time on a parallel lead when they can write five song and dance routines instead 🤪

P.S. Am waiting for the day Kunal berates Mishti in front of Abhir and he loses it. Itna toh banta hai. Give us at least one scene where Abhir is angry and calls out Kunal without any sugarcoating (or shifting the blame on Meenu) CVs😆

Actually I thought since family are incompetent to make him realize these things as he doesn't do that to them Kuhu/ some other friend who he confides in will make him realize but I dont get it. Neither Kunal nor Abir shares anything. What Nanu has to offer doesn't help anyone, sorry .

IKR? her reason for leaving is quite necessary for me to know as a viewer agar ye rishta toot gaya tha , bla bla baar baar bolna hai and for me or other viewers to see his perspective

I did not realise this while watching epi but yaa badtameez did was very random and not required

I think editing was fine but they are opening many tracks at same time mishbir rebonding..Kunal kuhu...Parul Kunal..Meenu ka blue box....may b all this is interconnected that's why coming up at same time...let's see

Kuhu Ko koi hathoda maro...she was very brave enough to handle her rejection because she was not only rejected her sister was selected at her place and trust me guys ye baat kisi k lie pachana bohot difficult hai..but the way she said Kunal is spineless and thank god her rishta didn't happen was brave...then I don't know what happened she completely went off track and now back to square one

Kunal one this is very clear this boy can't gracefully handle failures and rejections which is also immature right now whatever he is telling mishti ..is his frustration in the name of protecting his brother

Abir is anyways excited about one thing or the other...Abhi he is just khush k uska raasta clear hai..😂..but raasta bohot Lamba hai ..AM conversation was nice but a little rushed...but we got Ishq wala love in bargain hence not complaining

And yes as elder sibling he has that instinct to protect Kunal ..but he should know k nanko itna b nanko nahi hai .. though he did point out his male ego and slapped him

As someone rightly said here that AM are amazing and we can ignore all this right now and enjoy the show...

Exactly.....

Kuhu is immature and little childish. But i used to think she is sensible enough to handle any situation. She got ice-cream just to cheer up Mishti,also didnt delete Kunal's msg on Mishti's phone. That shows her character.Now what happened suddenly? why is she behaving like typical spoil brat.
