Meenakshi is such a dictatorial woman , and today it was revealed how spot on abir was about her .
She doesn't want a wife for her son , but a trophy to display .
Genuinely the lines ,
" I want a girl who can be seen but not heard was so disgusting .
That woman craves power and control in a wrong way .
They way she called her brother with a wave of the hand and asked him to stick to the lower jobs was utterly disgusting .
Abir should genuinely take all the digs that he wants at her .

She doesn't really realise the difference that you run a company and live with a family. There is a reason why you don't have a CEO or a manager in a family , no one needs to be in control .

I feel that what meenakshi said about rejection. I think the biggest pain in her life was when she faced rejection herself from the only person she loved the most her husband which is the centre of her pain and suffering . She is still stuck there unable to move on in her life. The humiliation that she must have faced from the society when her husband left her leaving the kids is still haunting her .she craves power to control everyone around her so that nobody leaves her again. This is just my theory . I don't know how the story will move on.

That's what I initially thought .
But seeing abir's reaction to her , I think this isn't something which stemmed out of that .
I think her behaviour had a large part to play with abir's dads walking away .
That explains why he is always at loggerheads with his mother .

Yes. Also that line that power has to belong to only one person in a family.

What hold does she have over her brother and his family that makes them cower so much? Why is the sister so scared of her? Why is she able to rule over her father? Hopefully these questions will be answered in the future. It will give us reasons why Menakshi is the way she is.

Somehow I think it's the fact that she has been heartbroken that they have let her take control , like a porcelain glass who can break , only at the cost of themselves ?

I understand that they may want to be protective towards her, but they appear extremely scared of her. She not only controls things but she also demeans and humiliates them. A sister can't have such control over a brother. For this reason I think that there are some things in their past that she holds over them or in her character that is perhaps violent and cruel.

Meenakshi and her expectations of a prospective bride for her sons. 😆The kind of girl she wants is the one who can only be seen but not heard. But she is destined to get Kuhu and Mishti who will make sure that they are heard loud and clear for various reasons 😆
