Till now she hasn't done anything to deserve rejection and humiliation from third person .

Like many pointed out Mishti is no bechari .She gives it back when needed and at the same time like Kuhu she just focuses only on her problems when she is in pain without thinking about her sisters feeling . So in my opnion none of the sisters are bechari who is getting abused by the other .

Walking away during a heated argument shows maturity of the person in handling the situation and doesn't make them a doormat.

Well I didn't feel bad saying all that about kuhu at all, given her character has nothing in her to gain understanding or sympathy. She's just a character so why is it uncalled for to say an unlikable character deserved being rejected a marriage proposal? I wouldn't say that about a real person, but I'm not going to feel bad if its a character exactly.

Plus there won't be any backstory on kuhu's insecurity predictably because she herself explained her reasons for her constant cribbing today, and the reasons were what we all already knew, that according to her mishti has took kuhu's share of love and attention from the family just because kuhu thinks mishti is a bechari who needs to be given special treatment by the family because her dad dumped her etc., despite how false these claims by kuhu blatantly are when we clearly see kuhu being showered with love by the entire family constantly.

Kuhu has no insecurities... just pointless complaints about having another child in her house who other family members also try and make to feel a part of the family to kuhu's selfish disdain.

Hell, any person with a sibling has to put up with not being the center of attention and affection 24/7 from family, but constantly insulting and delivering low-blows to mishti about the lack of a real family is unjustified just because she simply doesn't like being the center of her family's universe.

The day kuhu gives solid reasons for bullying someone who has been abandoned by their family, is the day I will understand this character, but she has already explained her baseless reasons already.

No point looking deeply into kuhu's character folks, because her character is just like every typical nasty spoilt brat shown on indian tv ever who just likes everything their own way and putting others down to make themselves feel better about themselves.

I disliked Varsha when she said she expected Mishti to keep uiet at whatever kuhu is throwing at her. It is all about kuhu to her. Kuhu might be in pain but doesn't mean whatever she said to Mishti is wrong. Varsha is changed alot. I expected her to be rational and impartial and tell Kuhu that she shudn't say that to Mishti and she was just feeling about her.
Riya's acting was so good and subtle. She does all with her eyes. So beautiful and poignant. She is an intelligent actress.

@bold Almost everyone having siblings faced this especially the older ones, they're asked to grow up faster because she has become a badi behen. That's not a solid reason for insulting mishti time and again. It's not like Mishti had anywhere to go to.

And she ain't special, it's not a well written grey chacter or anything ( I tried to treat her so initially but failed miserably ) she is exactly that spoilt brat of itv who is just there to throw tantrums.

As an older sister with a younger sister who gets away with everything just because once upon a time she was seen having a panic attack on the school cctv cameras, my sister now milks the anxiety to make sure that our parents agree to everything she wants/ says and myself and my other siblings aren't able to say anything to her to the point that she has gotten used to getting her way that she actually talks like crap to me and my other siblings. Its actually gotten to the point that it feels like me and my siblings are becoming victims of bullying in our own house by our own sister because she knows she can get away with her horrid behaviour. She even mouths off to our parents if they try and tell her to talk properly, and resorts to pulling out the victim card if she's refused something or if one of us siblings have enough of her and say something back to her.

Kuhu's life isn't an exception where she gets a valid reason to bully someone because she isn't getting her way. We all have siblings that we have to share parents and their affection with. Kuhu is just terribly insensitive.

Before I came to US, I had a different view of the country and the people here. But coming here, I saw the flip side of the real people. While some people are happy that there is an influx of new people, there are others who see us as invaders, that we are here to take away what is theirs. It is all just a matter of perspectives. I also learnt a lot about celebrities after coming to US about which I had no idea when I was in India. There are so many celebrities who found fame and fortune at a very young age, but also fell victim to substance abuse, drug abuse, alcohol etc. Most of the times what is visible on the outside may not be the true story. That is why even today the saying "never judge a book by it's cover" holds good.
Here too on the surface it seems like Kuhu has "everything", hence she shouldn't act like how she does. But what pain she holds in her heart is not shown yet. Each person has their own defense mechanism to cope with what hurts them or what scares them. A skunk uses smell as it's protection while porcupine uses thorn. But ultimately what both these animals are trying to do is protect themselves from what they are scared of. The way Kuhu is portrayed is her defense mechanism. Her hashtags are a way of her trying to make her fear not sound so scary.

She doesn't deserve what happened with her. It was not fair either to Kuhu nor Mishti. The very fact that most viewers sympathize with Mishti and expect Kuhu to not feel that hurt itself is a bias. Her feelings are valid too. She got more hurt than Mishti in this case, yet she is the one who is supposed to accept it without any say in it. Negative feelings are like poison, expressing them is the best way to get rid of them. And that is what Kuhu did. She had to get rid of her pain just like a wound needs to be cleaned before applying ointment and bandaid. In today's episode, Kuhu herself admits that she was wrong in blaming Mishti and that she overreacted. That itself shows her true nature underneath all her acting.

For once Kuhu showed she's capable of seeing her own folly. That was a good scene between the sisters despite them not being in the same frame, and the actress' more subtle weeping was far better here compared to the more forced look from the rejection scene. Overall today was a good episode.

I detest Kuhu and her very OTT acting too. Talk about self centred and self absorbed. She is a jealous, insecure individual whose defence is to blame Mishti whenever things don't go her way. She is mean and extremely immature, getting away with displaying a spirit of outrageous sense of entitlement. This actress looks 30, should have found someone that looks the age of the character.
I hated how she attached Mishti's sensitivity to her father's bad character to make her feel ashamed and inferior. Disgusting, definitely not the Maheshwari upbringing actually.

Yes. She looks elder to Mishti and Kunal to me. I think she is.
