There is a big difference in both senerio. In my opinion, the biggest is that Abhimanyu didn’t even know the existence of his son. He wasn’t desperately searching for him and blaming himself. Whereas, in Maira’s case, Abhira was searching day and night for Pookie since last 7 years, took medications and even blamed herself. So here, Abhira has full right to take her kid back as Armaan didn’t even inform Abhira once.

In Gen3, it was atleast shown, Akshara tried to contact Abhimanyu and he’s the one not willing to listen. Plus Abhinav was there since birth too and without him Abhir would have never existed.

Here it’s not like Maira wouldn’t have lived without Geentanjali. She was shown more like a caretaker. She don’t even call her “mama”. Abhir used to call Abhinav “papa”

The only thing is - Armaan used Geentajli for his own benefit and now she’s suffering too.

Who says that without him Abhir wouldn't have existed ? Did he gave birth to him or did he bore the labor pain ? Fact is had Akshara not walked away from her family alone and was still living with Goenkas that toofani raat ki kahani wouldn't have happened and she could have given birth without any difficulties in hospital which atleast would have an incubator unlike navji who became human incubator showing illogical thing by showing a premature kid in his arms all night without the need of incubator..

Seems like people here think any neighbour that babysit a kid for a few years, have a claim on that child as parent, even comparing it with a stepfather who was known to the child as father.

There is no comparison between Geetanjali and Abhinav. Because Abhinav always encouraged Akshara to give rights to Abhimanyu and did not play hide and seek games. And Abhimanyu was toxic aadmi in the story like Armaan.

Though I do feel Geetanjali raised Maira well for many years and her emotions are valid. Abhira can let Geetu take care of Maira few days in a month and she can have 2 moms. Armaan should marry Geetu and they can coparent Maira along with Abhira and Anshuman.

What funny here is People who didn't like Abhinav are fighting for Geetus rights. But that's good 😃

If a kidnapper lies to a child that they are his parents, it doesn't mean everyone has to accept that they are his parents

Abhinav never legally adopted Abhir, He had as much claim over him as Geetanjali has over Maira = NIL

Unless court appoints them as guardian

The situations and backgrounds between Abhir-Abhinav and Maira-Geetanjali are completely different. Abhir only knew Abhinav as his dad and Akshara and Abhinav were legally married since his birth. They presented a normal family in front of him even to the extent of sleeping in the same bed and celebrating their wedding anniversary so he always thought he had a normal family. Plus the writers really highlighted Abhir-Abhinav bond and showed that Abhir was much closer to him than Akshara in the beginning. Here Abhira has much more scope to win Maira than Abhimanyu did. Maira already likes Abhira a lot. She is of course sad to leave her dad and G2 and dadu and city and she is going to act out. That's normal. That's why they will show Armaan to be the bridge between the mom and daughter. In previous season, they couldn't show that. Maira will also learn how much her dad hurt her mom and what really happened. She will still love G2 but Abhira is her mom. She will definitely accept it. For Abhir, Abhinav and Abimanyu were both his fathers as one raised him and became his legal stepfather while one is related to him by blood. Abhir accepted them both. But because Abhinav was married to his mom and he had spent all his life with him, he was of course more attached to Abhinav than Abhimanyu. But after Abhinav's death, he wanted his bio parents to be together so they can be a family. Maira is gearing towards that too. If they really wanted an actual conflict, they could've retained Ruhi and have her raise Maira with Armaan or have Armaan already married to G2. That would've really divided up the viewers. But my making Armaan the sole criminal of this leap and making Abhira completely blameless, they are not creating any more love triangles and squares.

But I agree with one thing, Maira should be and stay with Armaan and Geetanjali...

Because her presence is just gonna make both of them suffer... BUT clearly both cases are different...

Pookie is alive because of Abhira and Abhir was alive because of Abhinav... Don't come back and throw that stupid accident on my face, but that accident wouldn't have happened had ArMoron not done his own set of kaands... But sure...

Maira should stay with sad sad Armoron and marry Geetanjali, where Geetanjali continues craving for Armaan's love, and Maira continues seeing how miserable his Papa is... I anyways don't think their dynamics were happy in real sense, like AkshNavIr was... AkshNavIr were happy! They had no trauma, no sadness, pure sukoon, therav, bliss and happier life...

AkshNavIr's happiness was ruined by Abheekmanyu ki entry... Whereas ArmaanJaliRa were ruined right from start!!

Depends on how people perceive blood relation vs dil ka rishta

By that logic parents trying to adopt a kid shouldn't have any feelings or right on a kid too.

If one is a random neighbour another should be same too. Even though we actually saw how much maira and geetu care for each other. Their separation and crying scenes actually impactful

It's natural to feel insecure about a child you raised, you were #1 for him/her suddenly the kids attention is divided and you have to share. You know it's fair but it's also not fair. I might have made fun of nav but in the drama of gen 3 next to ghatiya akthu he was a devta always said that

Geetanjali is a landlady turned nanny turned would be mom for maira whereas Abhinav was Abhir's step father, legally married to her mother from the beginning. Comparison should end here..

Irrespective of that Maira should stay with G2 only because it was Armaan who played with her emotions by proposing her to be Maira's mother and gave promise that nobody can replace her place in Maira's life. Now suddenly he cannot back off from everything by saying nonsense like "Main abhira ko insaaf dila ke rahunga". He should surrender himself to police and remain in jail for 7 years if sachme insaaf dilana hai.

Lotas and reality really don't go hand in hand. Warna no one in their right mind would compare the safe haven AkshNav created for Abhir to the hellhole MoronSa pushed Maira into. Although I agree with one thing.. Maira is better off with her bacha chor baap and neighbor. Because MoronSa is waiting for an opportunity to weasel his way back into Abhira's life. And he's definitely going to use Maira, just like DogMan used Abhir to destroy AkshNav's peaceful existence.
