Rishta has always been celebrated for rishtas ..but this gen has had terrible families ..both the Poddars and the Goenkas don’t give off family vibes ..more like matlabi, manipulative vibes …for the first time in this generation, the scene between mother and son actually gave off Rishta vibes …Rohit and Vibhuti share great chemistry ..hope the makers make good use of this …truly a breath of fresh air amidst the stale Poddar and Goenka toxicity and drama !

I totally agree .. when Armaan said I don’t want a sharto wala rishta … it struck a chord .. because from the start Poddars gave very toxic vibes

Maybe the times in itv has changed today toxicity sells ..

I want Armaan to walk the talk and build a home with his mother and wife . It does not matter if its rich or poor.. and this home should last for the next generation

Why don't the writers kill Madhav off? This is essentially his story - the world he set up with his wife and son was destroyed by his mom, his son put up in orphanage (which by itself is a big enough enough reason to go berserk), the love of his life lost 30 years to mental health issues due to his mom's lies - he finds out the truth now that it was not fate but his mom (and to a lesser extent, his new wife) who were responsible and he says and does absolutely nothing meaningful. He will continue to stay in the same house with Kaveri and Vidya? The writers made it all about Shivani and mainly Armaan and completely ignored the 3rd victim of the conspiracy - why is he alive if he can't get even one dialogue mourning what could have been or feeling betrayed by the two women who set this up.

Also, why is he not even helping Armaan financially - doesn't he owe at least that much to his ex-wife and son who suffered due to his family?

Madhav-sa genuinely surprised me today. Vidya, on the other hand, was putting on the damsel in distress act, playing the victim while questioning Madhav if he would have chased after Shivani.

Yeah, Madhav should have been just as outraged over the injustice done to him and Shivani. But as always, he stays silent. Maybe he’s the kind who smolders quietly before eventually exploding.

The writers are partly to blame as well. Instead of focusing on developing characters and their nuances as a whole, they seem more concerned with just writing for the sake of it and keeping up with the TRP race.

Madhav has moved on .. it’s been 30 years plus he’s lived with Vidya …

Vidya is his wife in his mind .. but Armaan is Shivani’s son

Shivani herself is not pining for Madhav .. she has accepted him as gone

it’s in best interest that they let Shivani , Armaan and Abhira move to a new place .. and let Madhav live with Vidya and his family

But it won’t happen Kaveri will break Armaan’s confidence and bring him back as a stupider version of Rohit n Manoj who cannot survive without Poddar family name



Madhav as a cop is an utter disgrace.. Kaveri his mother has done a blatant crime to his erstwhile wife ..forged her death .. and made him commit bigamy

kept Shivani as captive which cop should allow all this
