Vidya is truly THE WORST step mom in rishta verse. Devyani, Swarna and Sirat ( I don’t even like this one) were far superior as step mothers. They actually did love their husband’s children wholeheartedly unlike this vile hag.

Even Majiri was a much better step mom to Neil, despite the fact that he was proof of her husband's infidelity in front of her every day. She not just adopted him, but actually truly loved him unconditionally, wo much so that no one ever doubted that he was her son. She never distinguished between Neil & Abhimanyu. However she was as a person, she truly was a good mother to her sons.

I didn’t really like him. I liked him with Sam as Abhimaan, but that's probably because Sam was making Sheh look really good with her special powers!

She even beats the likes of Shelia and Kaveri, coz even those people were atleast honest in their stand. losers all of them. i know dkp gave us everything we wanted but there were few more instances that needed to be addressed especially the most recent "sautela" card KV played at the wedding which was the night before for them. he could have said something along the lines of KV just last night said so much shit to me and you stood there like a mute spectator in front of everyone and then behind their backs acted all hurt by KVs words. then shit talked abhira the one person who always takes a stand for him.

but i guess we take what we get. even this is a lot for dkp

Good mother is very debatable but yeah she did love the two of them very much. Debatable because she did let Neil get abused by his very own father because she led Harsh to believe he was adopted and she did completely ruin Abhi’s life so much so that he lost his wife and son on more than one occassion. She also was awful to Akshu when she was pregnant with Abhira just because she couldn’t bear the thought of Abhi raising the child which was Abhinav’s. The woman was unhinged and evil but Vidya truly takes the cake for being evil, psychotic and unhinged.

Yess same, the way she pretends that she is the best mom ever and continually plays victim is what irks me so much. Just own up that you took in Armaan to trap Madhav in this marriage because otherwise the man would have walked away the second he could. Own up to the fact that being Poddar bahu is the status quo you wanted and you used Armaan to gain and sustain it. What is this “Armaan meri zindagi hai” nonsense?

i have not seen enough of Manjiri, but gen 4 definitely has made me hate suhasini a lot less

Even Varsha in Gen 1 was step mom to her husband Shaurya's daughter from his affair. And she accepted Kuhu without any conditions and truly loved her . Many forget Varsha.

I definitely have more appreciation for the gen 2 Goenkas now, despite all their issues. They seem normal in comparison to this Poddar family. Even Suhasini was not completely black, like this.
