I think you think it is unethical for a lawyer to help a bad person. It isn't. Bail is a human right. Vidya can still challenge the judgement in a higher court if she or her legal team thinks she was wronged.

What is unethical — as a lawyer— is undercutting your client's interests to help his perpetrator. As a human being, it is absolutely scummy to cry over a domestic abuser in a family of domestic abusers. Especially you have a safety net that most people don't.

Honestly, child is a property of none. A child is a human being of their own who is legally under the guardianship of adults till 18. Legally, in India, for most goverment processes, you don't need a father's name. No one can force a mother to produce a father's name in any document lol.

If Akshara didn't feel that her unborn child and she would be safe with a guy who was violently breaking furnitures and whose mother was berating her as a murderer while Akshara went through miscarriage, no court in India at least would give custody to Abhimanyu or think Akshara "befrauded" him. Because she, as a mother, was acting in the best interest of her and her child's physical and mental safety. No court in the world would willingly put a child in the custody of an irratic, ustable, and angry man over a happy, stable family.

Let's not go over how he up and disappeared on Ruhi once he realised Abhir was his biological kid despite knowing how much she depended on him for emotional stability.

Omg would someone please think about the rich guys with mommy + anger issues —who used suicide as a leverage to get a confession out of a younger girl and broke furnitures in anger when wife was grieveing the loss of a family member and going through a physically traumatic event, and kicked her out when she needed medical care — getting falsely accused of domestic violence. I mean nothing they have ever done is violent.

Lets not make mockery of domestic violence because the only violent person who physically abused both her husband was Akshara but you claim 2nd marriage was good so maybe Abhinav deserved the violence against him and I agree with you
