But when you see someone broke to such an extent, some empathy is expected from good people. Even Rohit has it for Abhira because he thinks Armaan is capable of lying and flipping, despite all he went through, but Ruhi isn't given any.

Because she is not the FL's daughter, simple maths for shows. They have forgotten somewhere that this show in first 2 gens was about making mistakes, learning from them and becoming better humans, last gen and this gen has all been about who can speak the loudest or who is whose child. Even Arohi was shown as someone selfish but she also redeemed, Abhimanyu was said to have been oscillating between two sisters and hence the acha admi was accepted and loved for Akshara but when Armaan is doing that, he is the nice guy because Abhira wants to be with him.

In initial episodes most people preferred Ruhi over Ar and had sympathy for her and had umeed of her turning a better person in near future and Ar was always bashed for giving Ru umeed.

In all that scenario both Ar and Ru were at equal fault. One took decision of marrying someone else in impulsiveness and another had no guts to tell his family his wish and to save his image he asked her something foolish and she agreed to it with other motive. Making Rohit prime victim of their cheating.

After all this happened, ideally Ru should be angry at Ar but instead she was at Ab.

And Ab gave Ru support even against Dadi and always used to think about her good but what she got in return?

Now after Ar left Ru at mandap, it's was not like Ab accepted him immediately and from what I remember she accused him for destroying her and Ruhi's life.

It's itv so if character realise his/her mistakes and tries to redeem their self then audience starts liking them again.

Ruhi had best chance to prove her worth and make place in audience heart focusing on her career and grandparents and forgetting about Ar but she still was pursuing him.

She doesn't have to be in team fl in order to be liked by audience but just focus on her life and husband and forget Ar-Ab exist.

After Rohit came it was a fresh start for everyone. Ar-Ab starting their relationship normally without any majboori or deal and Ro-Ru starting their relationship without any secrets too.

Ro was 100% right for being angry at both of them.

He married Ru thinking of spending their lives together with happiness from families from both sides and he always made sure Ru was ready so he would not take much time to be with Ruhi again but what she did? She came back and started eyeing Ar once again, now no one is giving her any umeed and Ar's stance is clear to all. Still she is not appreciating Ro and doing same mistake as previous time so who will feel bad for a person like her jo khud daldal mein fasta h.

Feeling for him and dreaming about him for few days after your breakup is ok but it's literally a year since their soulmate story and 1-2 months since she was left at mandap by him and she still feel something will happen between them..........

You are asking no one is feeling remorse for hurting Ruhi but is Ruhi feeling remorse for hurting others?

On top of that she is still blaming Ro for their failed marriage.

There's no such criteria on basis of which armaan- abhira relationship can be claimed to be any superior or distinct from ruhi armaan relationship. It's just that according to the story , the situations weren't as conducive for ruhi armaan relationship to continue. It's baseless to claim one relationship as love whereas the other relationship as obsession merely because the Pseudo FL Abhira isn't involved in it.

I get it that Ruhi has made a lot of mistakes, I am not denying that at all. But it isn't Ruhi alone who has made mistakes. Everybody had their own flaws, it's just that makers are highlighting Ruhi's flaws more because they want to make Abhira look the better wife, and the ideal daughter in law for the family.

Not everybody moves on so easily in their lives. Ruhi's feelings are being taken for granted as if she isn't allowed to even feel anything.

Had Abhira not forgiven Armaan and had chosen not to accept him and his love, would these people want Armaan to move on and fall in love with some other woman?

Rohit, who now knows that Ruhi never loved him and that she married him because of Armaan and all, keeps on mistreating Ruhi and people say that he is doing so because he is hurt. But does Ruhi not get hurt when she sees Armaan and Abhira together? Why are her feelings not valid then?

Armaan will always be forgiven of any mistakes because he is the male lead, Abhira could never do anything wrong because she is the female lead, and Rohit, he will always be the heartbroken guy who worships his bhabhi and will one day forgive his brother as well. But Ruhi, she will always be treated like that side character who will always be shown in the negative light because she refused to join the FL's fan club.

Similarly, Samridhi's Saavi from Saavi ki Sawari was a favorite of mine, and in that show her sister was shown to be evil from the start so Saavi shined brightly on her own. But to make Abhira look better, the destroyed that innocent and cute child Ruhi who everybody liked and adored.

I like Ru during intial episode in mussorie. But the day after knowing Ar and Ro are brother and Ar refused to accept their love and told her to go ahead with Ro was the point I starting having negative vibes. Ar clearly went with family khushi vs Ru but Ru went reverse. She is not a small kid she should have backed off as well. Her only motive to marry Ro was to stay close to Ar. That itself is pathetic. Also intial episode we saw Ar had clear boundaries that she is Ro wife but Ru was clearly cross the limits. Oh yeah the infamous beech ka rasta suggestion by Ru That’s 🤮…… Ar gave her hope only when Ro was presumed dead and he had a deal maariage with Ab so to give Ru her khushiya back he lead her on….. but the fact that Ru made fun of marriage and had no qualms about it and family not calling out get me furious.

I never said Ruhi isn't to be blamed, all I am saying is that Armaan's umeed made the 2 day relationship a 1 year relationship for Ruhi, and the speed at which Armaan flipped from family and Ruhi to Abhira, even his own father didn't trust him. Abhira might have said he ruined both their lives, but when has she actually shown empathy for Ruhi since finding out? She went to her to accuse her of not telling her, which Ruhi responded appropriately, that Armaan loves you so he should have, why is Ruhi responsible for telling? Even right now, Ruhi returning, we haven't been shown why she returned or if she has a plan, but the automatic assumption is she has a bad plan.

As for Rohit, he is the only completely innocent one in the story. Ruhi is showing him the mirror of him running away unlike Abhira who confronted Armaan, and she is blaming him for marriage ending because she wanted to give a honest chance but he disappeared without talking, so she believes that they would have had a happy ending if he stood and fought.

All am saying is it isn't all Ruhi being a villian, there are reasons for what everyone did when they did, but Ruhi is the only one assumed all bad and not allowed any empathy.

I prefer not to write anything as I have only gaalis for Armaan and Abhira.. my post will be definitely removed .. don’t want to comment anything about Abhimaan’s love story as its full of insecurities and selfish motives.. but I’m glad that Ruhi’s vulnerable state and the way she is being accused by others is raised in this thread.

She has a psychological problem for which she is getting therapy.. makers had a reason to show this even from the beginning… the moment from when she lost her mother till Armaan dumping her at mandap and even now Rohit abusing her for her mistakes made her life more painful and worse. She never got what she wanted.. it’s good Rohit has returned, he still loves her.. I hope she finds her soulmate in him and set her life.

For a change I’m ok if she takes revenge on Armaan by ignoring him completely, until the point he sees the change in her. As you said Abhira’s nature itself is enough for their relationship to end.

In the Ruhi Armaan story, both were equally at fault and equally not wrong I feel. Armaan went all overboard to show his love for Ruhi and to say to both Ruhi and Rohit that he can't move on from her, while Ruhi also rushed into a 2 day relationship and believed someone who refused to speak up for her. But in both their cases, they have been deprived of parental love their childhood. From Ruhi's pov, she lost her father before she was born, when she was gonna get Poppy as her father, her Maasi came back to marry him, and then her Maasi killed her mom and took her Poppy and brother also. I am not saying she is right or wrong, all am saying is that was the 6 year old's pov and since the family also only knew what Akshara told, they didn't try to change Ruhi's opinion. In case of Armaan, he only saw conditional love and here was a girl who was ready to love him without him being someone for her. Everything till the minute Ruhi and Armaan got married, everything was okay, very normal, but once they got married, Armaan should have stopped saying he will never love another and Ruhi should have stopped asking for Armaan's time. Two personally insecure people in love, caused all this, doesn't make one a hero and one a villian.

After Rohit supposedly passed away, Ruhi was holding on to the love Armaan claimed to have for her, and when he repeatedly kept saying he is only with Abhira for 1 year, she wasn't wrong in assuming that after that, maybe they'll get their chance since Rohit is no more. She was living in the concept of maybe that wasn't the right time, and when family asked about their marriage, Armaan still never spoke up about it not being right or anything. He loves on extreme ends, so when his love for Abhira he realized, he didn't once thing about how wrong he was doing with Ruhi and he didn't even see that love till Abhira confessed, and after that, nothing mattered.. he only felt bad for himself and Abhira, I might have missed it but I never saw a honest regret at what he did with Ruhi for a year by making her live in false hopes while he happily and easily moved on. Ruhi had wanted to move forward with Rohit, right before he disappeared, so her assumption that maybe that was fate isn't completely wrong either, don't we look for signs in life to validate our decisions? Ruhi kept looking for them after Rohit came back also because again from her pov, she saw Armaan very quickly move on to Abhira, so she figured that is also something fleeting since he has told her for last 1 year it is her only he can ever love. In her brain, Armaan and her relationship has been there for a year, surviving circumstances that had separated them.

Rohit and Abhira for me are not in this story to be honest. Rohit was a normal arranged marriage guy who dreamt of a happy married life and was very understanding of his wife needing time and Abhira herself was very clear she wanted nothing to do with Armaan. I feel a lot of people do keep making her a part of story because they loved Abhinav and she is is his daughter, but in Armaan Ruhi story, she isn't anywhere or even important. It is what they both did, not a third person.

But what I don't understand, Abhira was very quick to easily forgive Armaan because she loved him, Armaan was very easily able to move on in his love which he also realized a day after Abhira confessed her love, and be happy with Abhira because she loved him, but Ruhi cannot be swayed by something and want to give Rohit another chance without wanting a man who has now repeatedly ditched her? Nobody even wants to assume that could be the case, Chachi is telling her she is a problem, Abhira is happy the divorce is happening and saying so to Armaan, audience is convinced Ruhi has a plan while nothing of that sorts has even been shown yet, but somehow in the end, only Ruhi is the one who did everything wrong because Armaan is Abhira's love? Abhira forgave Armaan hiding about Ruhi within a matter of days, Rohit never even talked and vanished, and when he came back, he only insulted Ruhi over it, but yet Armaan is bechara for how Rohit is talking to him and Ruhi deserves it?

I feel this is where indian tv has managed an amazing thing, they have managed to turn all women who aren't the main lead of the show or aren't the members of the main lead is mahaan group, to seem manipulative and negative constantly, they don't deserve a chance. If audience and the main lead are so sure of the love the main couple has, why the automatic assumption that Ruhi is bad till she shows she is, as even the Dadisa in the show said?

Ruhi, Rohit, Armaan and Abhira are all victims of Ruhi and Armaan not behaving their actual age but rather their emotionally immature age, but the fact that Armaan is exempted because he is Team Abhira and romancing her but Ruhi is automatically villian because she isn't, feels very unfair to her for me. I would love if DKP for a change shows something progressive and shows Ruhi and Rohit actually happily moving forward in their lives and giving their arranged marriage a shot. Ruhi has been shown a very caring and nice person who has run to the aid of whom she thought were strangers multiple times, and Rohit has also been shown a nice guy who is wounded, they deserve happiness of their own.

Her massi dint killled her mother. Ruhi herself killed her mother. Akshara took ruhis blame to protect her from guilt of killing her mum.
abhimanyu never loved aarohi he was marrying arohi coz of manjri and ruhi. Ruhi herself understood that she can’t get a perfect family when her poppy is already a real father of another kid right in front of her.
Akshara never came back to marry abhimanyu co she was already married to abhinav. After abhinavs death, she was pressurized to give a perfect family to Abhir.

both were wrong o agree ruhi and Armaan, but Armaan learned from his mistakes. And Ruhi never tried moving on. And Honestly it’s not her fault. If Rohit had stayed back maybe like Armaan she would have moved on too.
