It did not come out as stupid. When Armaan was counting Dev’s flaws she was trying to explain that one cannot control ones heart and said all those things. She could speak like that because she recently felt those things but even generically those words are not meaningless.

I don't have issue with her, my issue is with makers for not making her shout back at these poddars. The abhira we know would have given back to these people for saying her mom is trapping and sleeping with other men.

The girl was trying to explain all that to him but Armaan, too mad. Abhira even said all are mad at me and why are you, at least let me explain. That all happened even before the subject of love, and he saying love comes with responsibility and you have to of family and not just your self. atleast she can make her life straight now by being herself no strings attached as she was restrained like a badi bahu and the idiots were always troubling her about her lineage, now she is free from expectating anything from these hypocrites.

Ar will try his best not to come in family's bad books doesn't matter he let his soulmate or wife suffer. Then will try to correct what he did wrong earlier and in process his present suffers. But overall he neither has spine nor brain.
