When he entered in the show before that gen4 already had started gaining good trp and even after his entry it didn't took to 1st position. Well, honestly for me Rohit is farr better actor than Shehzada, I remember most of his exceptional performances and appreciated him for that too (recent one was with Geetu), but RS statement is factually incorrect that show became No. 1 after Rohit's entry. When Rohit-Garvita entered TRP decreased to 1.8 in 2-3 weeks, not only because of sudden actors' replacement but because of IPL too. I consider IPL was more of the reason for the decrease. Regarding show having No. 1 position yes, it did have No. 1 position after 8 months of Rohit's entry with same TRP 2.4, which they received for consecutive weeks during Sheh's portrayal of Armaan or before actor's replacement. That also during Abhira's pregnancy track and then during BSP death truth track. Gen 4 received first ever 2.5 during BSP truth reveal, for that the credit goes to Sam and then Rohit. Abhimaan had major showdown and Abhira left Armaan. She was given dialogues like "tumne meri peeth par chura ghonpa hai". Abhira was made to kidnap Daksh, there was no Armaan glorification by dialogues, no underplayed confrontation scenes. It worked. He was punished for his actions but Armaan didn't give up on their relationship even for a day. Same Armaan left her for 7 years? Abhira not only left PH but also sent him divorce papers, though that time, he actually swapped babies to save her from trauma, though he made decision for her and wronged her by not letting her touch, hold and say final goodbye to her dead child. She was wronged by making her believe that Daksh was her child and she didn't forgive him in a blink. Abhira didn't do jaap of his mahanta infact there was gap of 2 months after truth revelation, before she finally forgave him, when he was there for her after Abhir's accident. Viewers did not expect thanda confrontation during Pookie's truth revelation so TRP was 2.0

Thanks for this information but from trp it clearly shows strong abhira liked by viewers then why there is change in abhira. They could have made both leads strong and trp could have been better. They lost good opportunity or they wanted to with pookie revelation only they will know. The scene between geetanjali and armaan could have been the scene between abhimaan and it would have looked beautiful but now nothing is left in the show to watch . Just felt bad for downfall of abhira character.

Replacing the ML with a new actor is the worst thing that has happened to this show. The makers felt so indebted to him that they made the whole show about him. At least if the character was someone worthy enough, the viewers would have been fine, but this character definitely is one of the worst or maybe the worst ML in itv. As far as compromising the FL, that started happening ever since the marriage track happened. The biggest abuser of FL is the ML himself and with each track his crimes have only been bigger than the previous one. The reason writers couldn’t write any proper redemption track is because none of his actions since the marriage could be redeemed and acknowledging it would only make the viewers demand for another replacement. The answer is simple as to why they won’t give the FL even a single dialogue against their ML is because then their favorite character/actor would be written off by the viewers. What’s astonishing though is that the writers/makers are willing to throw so many characters and actors’ contributions under the bus for one character/actor.

Why to be indebted by him. He is not doing for free. I guess his pay amount is higher than sam at the same time he got fame which he didn't got in his past 15 years and not only him sheena also came into the limelight as she has not done any noticeable work after best of luck nikki. Show has given him more than what he could have given to the show. If you are that much indebted then why to destroy him such extent that become hard for viewers to accept him back. Maximum viewers are hating him and now they have destroy their fl also. In the same show they have punished abhimanyu so badly just for 1 decision and here armaan is getting praises from the show character as if he has done some noble work. Same writers but huge difference in the treatment of the character.
