In the whole paragraph regarding what he should have thought or done , he is expected to keep aside the grief of his loved one's deaths, tension regarding his mother's life threatening situation and be considerate towards the person who caused these things in the first place . That's too much for a human being. For him it's always like , whatever he does is never sufficient enough. He has to be calm in dealing with akshara , believe and unbelieve bade papa , go through the web of goenka family members and even a bigger web of what they want.

By the way he was calm in dealing with akshara , that's the reason he offered her the glass of water , but like any other human he has an endurance limit and it was crossed when akshara kept wandering in the space where manjari and birlas were mourning the death of the son whom akshara had recently killed. It leaded to Manjari having attacks as poor lady was not only suffering the pain of losing a grown up son but also enduring the added frustration and helplessness of having the murderer constantly in sight. Akshara was being sheer insensitive and ruthless in practicing her arbitrary whim of staying unbudged in birla mansion whilst the family wanted to grieve their son without the person responsible in sight

This is where he understood that akshara and him needed to separate if he wanted his remaining family to live.

I am really not interested in proving Abhi wrong after spending eight months defending him. But I cannot flat out forget that he has done things that are wrong too. He himself accepted them in the story so like I said there is no point discussing it.

Ak hasn't accepted her mistakes and the story isn't over yet. Some of us still believe she will, and even if she doesn't there is going to be a reunion in any case. The point is that Abhi was never able to live without her. At this point, I care more about justice for him than justice to the story. And the truth is, that for him, the best case scenario is that she realizes her mistakes, apologizes for the past six years and they can finally move on. That she facilitates Abhirmanyu bonding and tries to make up for the lost years. That she reciprocates his love in some form and respects it. That she realizes what she has and fights for it, like he has been fighting for her this whole time. For him, justice is getting his family back, because that is what he wants. He doesn't want to move on, he doesn't even know how. Even if he somehow did, he will always be connected to Ak for Abhir and that will in itself never allow him to move on. If Ak moves on again with someone else, he will again see his dream being ripped away and again go through the same pain all over again. If he decides not to love anyone but his children, he will be left alone again as he was at the beginning of the leap. There is no other way out for him.

He will forget all about the past and accept Ak the moment she accepts him. But justice for him would be her realizing her mistakes so she can be a better wife this time. That's it.

Ak Abhi reunion is fixed. I don't want to argue about why either of them are wrong because it's moot. Abhi has had his realization and redemption. Ak hasn't. The thread was about why Abhi should go back to Ak, not why Ak should. Usko jo karna hai vohi karengi.

Forget it dude, that is not the point right now. What Ak will do or won't do is a forever mystery only. Vo kab Kya karengi, for what purpose, writers only know.
