No, not all woman and that is why many people are frustrated with AK's action and dialogues. We want to see female leads who take charge and are empowered to do the right thing. I am glad I have come across some series where FL are fighting for their education, for their identification but the problem is writers are not doing justice to them and making these leads into emotional mess to gain TRP.

This! We don’t have enough tv series or movies promoting intelligent female with good decision makings skills..!! I don’t get how that wouldn’t be a trp front runner? Wouldn’t the audience cheer for someone doing all the things they(audience) cannot do or we’re not able to do or wanted to do but couldn’t becos of family constraints etc!! Appeal go that demographic your story!! AK is far from connect worthy FL even for regular audience!!

It would be progress only if the fighting woman has a good support system in the form of her husband/father/brother/sister/mother/friends. U cannot always win battles alone. Sometimes it’s ok to seek comfort..! Gen3 has not been viewable for months now with so much ddp, poor writing etc and neither of the leads are coming off as setting examples..! Their redemption arc together would be a good way to begin

Agreed. I think Sona was one FL I connected with, but I never understood why she went back to Dev. And then I also liked sadda haq, but again, never understood the ML character or how the FL liked the ML.

Here, the ML character was actually ok initially, he had some issues which could have been resolved down the line, but apart from that, nothing really stood out to me. He was intelligent and responsible, always said the truth, never backed down, protecting his family, and even understood his family well and resolved issues between them. Abhi didn't need to go this low, if he was paired with a slightly more sensible FL. But then what is the drama I guess.

they will not fix abhis trauma they r going to guilttrip him more and according to rumours if pregnancy news is true abhi has to take care ofhis kid hope so this does not happen but somehow i feel this is the way story is going

Progress only if they are able to do things that they are capable of doing without being made a victim and without making the male around them feel guilty. Fighting support system does not have to come through family members and friends, a relationship does not have to be formed always to get the needed support.

Yes, in general. But, Yrkkh is primarily a love story and family drama. I am okay with it being about two very different people falling in love and having normal issues that they fight about and eventually build an understanding through that. That's what I want to watch here. Not random deaths and endless DDP. The FL character can be shown as intelligent and stable. She can still make mistakes and throw fits if she wants to, but she should at least be open to rational conversation. Here they are making her look so stupid and so dependent on the males in her life that it is frankly digressing into my grandparent's era.

And I feel that frustration too and not only that I can not connect with her as well. I am not looking for perfection but logic and sense and positive vibes from the show.

Disagree completely. There is NO issue with her moving on with someone else that she connected with or allowing him to assume a fatherly role towards Abhir. But her entire reasoning for putting Nav's name on the BC, having Abhir call him Papa, and not telling Abhir is that she wanted to build this fantasy, and that is where she is wrong. Truth is always right, no matter how painful. Ruhi was told the truth about her dad being dead. No reason not to tell Abhir the truth either, and at the least, prepare him for a possible custody battle in the future. The past six months have been hell because of Ak's lies.

I think you mean telling the truth is always right. Not that the truth is always right. Those are completely different sentences.

If you say telling the truth is always right, that would assume any lie told to save someone's life is wrong. Do you really believe that? The world isn't black and white.

If you say the truth is always right. That would mean a horrible terrible situation could be right. I don't think you believe that either.

Yeah, I mean both things. The truth is always right meaning, Abhi being Abhir's real father is more right than fake father. Saying the truth is always right meaning Ak shouldn't have lied, period.

And yeah lying to save someone's life is okie as long as you resolve that quickly and know that the person whose life you are saving will be cool with that.
