It's not drama. Weekend right of being with her son is snatched away from her. She is not able to see her son. She came back to Kasauli the place where Abhir was there with her for 6 years. Naturally it's triggering her with his memories & it's mentally affecting her.
I have to agree; despite everything, she is Abhir's mother, and I am just glad they are finally focusing on her pain and her loss in all of this. The issue is that the narrative has been so skewed towards Nav so far it's hard to connect to the Ak-Abhir bond. When Abhir fell sick, Nav seemed way worse than Ak, when Abhir found out the truth, Ak was way more concerned about Nav's feelings than Abhir's, when Nav felt bad, Ak gave Abhir a lecture, etc.
Plus, no one asked them to move to Kasauli. It had been hardly one day since they received the order. Ak didn't even try to talk to Abhi and ask him what happened.
