Examining Manjari and Akshara's Choices

Both Manjari and Akshara hid the paternity of their sons, Neil and Abhir, respectively and both have compelling reasons for the same.

Manjari adopted Neil who was an illegitimate son of her husband. The husband who never respected her, abused her as we have seen in the show. Neil's birth mother left him in an orphange that means Neil was abandoned by her but Manjari for years foster his need, visited him made sure he is Okay and one day she adopted him cause her Son Abhimanyu refuses to go back home with out Neil. One thing here is that Manjari adopted Neil legally so not committing any crime or fraud. The way Harsh used to behave we never know how he could have reacted if Manjari told him about his son from his affair. There is a high chance he would have harmed him too. So whatever Manjari did she did it with the intention of protecting Neil.

Whereas Akshara decided not tell Abhimanyu the truth ever after that Phone call in which he said 'Nahi matlab hai usse aur bache se". But even then she was aware that Abhimanyu doesn't know she is pregnant. Hence, he rejected Akshara and not the baby. Though I understand her stand at that point. It is what she did afterwards is the topic of this discussion. She hid her pregnancy from her family and everyone including her friend and lived with Abhinav. Then came the day Abhir was born and she made a conscious choice of making Abhinav the father of a baby whose real father is alive and unaware of his birth. She forged the government documents and made Abhinav the legal father in front of the society and her family. For 6 years she hid this truth but when the truth was out in clear yet she refuses to accept Abhimanyu as the father of her son. Maybe this is what she meant when she said usko nahi sunna hai na ab woh poochega bhi na tab bhi nahi btaungi.

Contrary to popular belief, Akshara's primary reason for concealing Abhir was not solely his well-being. If her intentions were solely focused on protecting her child, she would not have made any attempts to communicate with Abhimanyu. It is important to acknowledge that Akshara understands Abhimanyu's unwavering love for his babies and his commitment to keeping them safe from harm. The initial catalyst for her actions stemmed from her own emotional turmoil and hurt. Though I agree that Akshara's love for Abhir cannot be undermined or dismissed. In her desire to maintain a close bond with her child, she sought to create a loving and secure environment for him. This quest for happiness led her to build a new family in Kasauli with Abhinav as her husband and Abhir's father. However, it is crucial to note that the foundation of this family was built on a lie, which raises ethical questions in court and now the house of card has fallen.

Also, I don't understand why the blame on Abhimanyu for breaking her family when in reality all he did is got his rights back. She is still with Abhinav and Abhimanyu is not denying their legal as well as emotional rights on Abhir. For me it is tough to relate to their DDP coz they were aware of the web of lies they weaved.

Debatable Morality:Ascertaining the moral rightness or wrongness of Manjari and Akshara's actions is subjective, as every individual possesses a distinct moral compass.

Contrasting Perspectives:One significant difference between Manjari and Akshara's cases lies in their adherence to the law. Manjari followed legal procedures when adopting Neil, ensuring transparency and avoiding criminal activities. Conversely, Akshara, despite studying law, defied legal boundaries by falsifying documents and denying Abhimanyu his parental rights.

So Morally it can be anything but Legally Akshara is wrong.

I thot akshu started studying law sometime in those 6 yrs but your last statement suggests that she had full knowledge of law when she called abhim and when abhir was born 😕 As if people carry the book of law everywhere with them.

Haan when she started studying law why didn't she tell abhim? Imo it served him good. His karma.

Yes the years he missed is his Karma. As an audience I am not denying it and as Character he is not denying it.

Maybe coz I am working too so I missed.

What i mean is she is a law student now, when they filed the case or over the years as she said her worst fear was this she didn't even think of correcting it.

She could have made sure that the legal documents are fine and continue lying to the family about Abhir.

Would have served her purpose better.

About Manjari a lot of people made this claim that she hid it too she is also criminal so no she is not a criminal.

Infact unrelated to this topic:

Intentions might have good or whatever but Akshara was involved in lot of criminal activities.

Hit&run, fake passport, running with a murder suspect, then recently this

Also, I am not a real lawyer as you may have know by now. But I knew this that we can't forge government documents.

It doesn't need to come to the point of carrying law books somethings are basic.

Manjiri before this leap was a character who had endured, sacrificed, loves selflessly even if it was not returned and yet shone brightly.

Her character even as an individual was way more than just an itv saas- her and her relationship with Abhimanyu had way more layers than this shit PH explored.

About Akshara, the less I say is the better- Like she could have been one amazing character but a lot of factors did not let her, so really talking about her feels useless ( esp today- I will edit this when I have the energy to rant about her lol)

About Manjiri, I hate her at times but mostly I curse the PH for ruining her ckt all for gaining sympathy for AK.

And I curse them a little more for not utilising the potential of Birlas

Ab ye samajhne ke liye chaipani ji we have to delve into the brain of the writer. How pathetically they have shown each and every profession in the show is for everyone to see..

If we follow all the rules of law , all the birlas and goenkas would be in jail , dr abhimanyu and arohi birlas doctors license will be revoked .

Ab bolo akshara ne kaunsi chapri University se law kiya ? Wohi wali chapri univ jahan se abhimanyu aur arohi ne degree li. The best surgeon, he freezes in the OT multiple times , doctors are full on negligent risking patients lives , kahin aag lag rahi hai CT matchine mei kahin doctor drink karke operate kar rahe hain.... Mr heart surgeon performing surgery on aksharas vocal chords with butter knife , kairav beaten up by the police so that he confesses to murdering anisha , no court case no bail , the list is endless.

Yes akshara is kachi khiladi. She should be a law breaker like birlas , baat phir banegi.

I would like to respectfully present a different viewpoint that supports Akshara in this situation.

Akshara's decision to hide Abhir's paternity and forge the documents may seem ethically questionable at first glance. However, it is important to consider the circumstances and the emotional turmoil she was experiencing. When Abhimanyu initially rejected Akshara after the phone call, it was a devastating blow to her. She was hurt and felt abandoned, leading her to make choices that she believed would protect her child and provide him with a stable and loving environment.

It's true that Akshara could have chosen to reveal the truth to Abhimanyu, but she likely feared the potential consequences. She might have been concerned about disrupting Abhir's life and exposing him to the complexities of his parentage. Akshara's intention was not to deprive Abhimanyu of his parental rights but rather to shield her child from potential harm and maintain stability.

Furthermore, Akshara's actions were driven by her love for Abhir and her desire to give him a secure upbringing. By building a new family with Abhinav as the father figure, she created a stable environment for her son's growth and development. It is important to acknowledge that Akshara's intentions were rooted in protecting her child's emotional well-being.

As for the blame placed on Abhimanyu, it is crucial to consider the complexity of the situation. While he pursued his legal rights as a father, it is essential to recognize that Akshara was already in a committed relationship with Abhinav, who had been fulfilling the role of a father for Abhir. Abhimanyu's actions, although legally justified, disrupted the stability that had been established in Abhir's life.

In conclusion, while there are moral and legal aspects to consider, Akshara's actions can be viewed through the lens of a mother's love and her desire to protect her child. Her decisions, although ethically debatable, were driven by a genuine concern for Abhir's well-being and the hope for a stable and loving environment.

A mother’s protectiveness for her child is understandable. But in Akshara’s case I am unable to accept the arguments because firstly she has been studying law for 5 years that too for keeping Abhir with her so she was well aware of the implications of her actions on the case. Secondly, if she did this to keep Abhir away from emotional harm (which is also supposedly why she didn’t get him to court) - her breaking his heart to send him away seems even more cruel! Thirdly, she did prioritize hiding the truth over Abhir’s surgery - so her concern for his well-being seems pretty questionable to me. Lastly, Abhimanyu just tried to be a part of Abhir’s life - the legal process was on both occasions started by Goenkas to which Abhimanyu reacted. Akshara had been studying to fight. Abhimanyu didn’t want to go to court - on both instances Manjiri convinced him to defend his right to be in Abhir’s life.

Most people break law because they are cornered in life, not out of choice. But when the said person is a student of law and keeps preaching to others about righteousness or pointing their mistakes- they appear hypocritical, shallow and self-centered.

While your perspective is well-reasoned, I would like to tell my opinion that Akshara's choices and actions need to be understood within the context of her complex circumstances. Being a law student doesn't necessarily provide her with infallible judgment, especially when she's in emotionally charged situations. Emotions can cloud even the best judgement, and this can be even more potent when it comes to the wellbeing of a loved one.

Yes, sending Abhir away might seem cruel, but it could also be interpreted as a desperate attempt to shield him from the escalating conflict. Akshara's goal has consistently been to protect Abhir, even if her actions sometimes seem contradictory.

As for the surgery, the delay doesn't necessarily equate to a lack of concern for Abhir. Akshara could have been grappling with a difficult dilemma - the immediate physical wellbeing of her son versus the potential emotional harm of revealing the truth. Neither option is free from potential harm, making this a morally complex decision.

Concerning the legal battles, while Abhimanyu might not have initiated them, his active participation indicates his willingness to engage in the conflict. Akshara's decision to study law and be prepared to fight shows her determination to protect her son's interests. It's not necessarily a sign of aggression or confrontation.

Your final point about hypocrisy is compelling, but it's worth noting that human behavior is often filled with contradictions. People are flawed, and sometimes their actions do not align with their words or beliefs, especially under stress or duress. This inconsistency makes Akshara a more realistic and relatable character, albeit one that can be difficult to fully understand or agree with.

Okay so first thing is that I feel you got offended and typing thoda in taunting way.

Back to your comment. Doesn't matter the university few things are basic like how I know.

How I know that if in case someone even files a case on me I will have to go to court but i will definitely consult a lawyer right but that can effect my visa applications so I will avoid it. Now here I don't know the legalities but I will protect me from such situations which Akshara failed even though she was shown/saying that she is preparing for this only.

About going to Jail: only Aarohi and Akshara will go

Kairav was under arrest and even after running away he got free cause proves.

In birlas: Parth and Mahima only.

Again I will say if you think about it whatever transpired between Abhimanyu and Akshara that day in court language was verbal spat between a husband and wife leading to divorce.

Also, there is no proof of abuse. It's Akshara's words against Abhimanyu.

About freezing in ot etc etc that's drama perspective otherwise toh divorce hota hi nahi procedure chalta usme hi sort ho jataa. Aese couples irl mein yahi krte hain
