Also, I cannot compare Akshara and Manju with regards to hiding the paternity truth, as the intentions were completely opposite.

Manju had to hide because she wasn't in a position to fight for Neil back then. She herself was going through DV.

But here Akshara hid the truth intentionally only to punish abhi. She went to an extent that she hid her son from her very own family, just to keep abhi away from abhir. She deprived abhir of love from his paternal relations for 6 years.

There is still slight difference when you talk about both situations. Neil was always made to feel he did not belong. That because Harsh did not know the truth and would behave in a hateful way towards Neil, which was caused by Manjari’s hiding action. In Abhir’s case his father actually loved him and vice versa, and Abhir still to this day feels that he belongs with the Sharmas. One situation had lack of love while other situation never lacked the same.

Lack of love from Harsh's end agreed. But Abhimanyu and Manjari loved Neil. One more thing is that they also mentioned that it was Abhimanyu who wanted Neil to come home and thrown a fit k uske bina nahi jayega. Manjari on the other hand used to visit Neil and takes care of his needs kind of fostering.

Also, we never know how Abhir would have reacted considering now he knows Docman. For me the 6 years were all cool and no one was at fault specially Abhinav btw. Akshara tok thought i will stay away from them no problem. Kisi ko pta nahi chalega same goes for Manjari too she thought kisiko pta nahi chalega.

So I think more or less either dono galat hain ya nahi hain consequences jo bhi ho they both did what they thought was best at the moment

Both are mothers but i feel manjari has upperhand in this as she never considers anything above her sons happiness. Where as akshu takes risks even when her kid is involved.

Abhi going for custody he has nothing to loose. As anyways sharma couple not interested in telling abhir about him and call him selfih if he suggests something. Irrespective of court verdit he would have been in the same position if he would have lost.

But akshu knew she can loose abhir considering last court sessions. Still she was selfish and wanted to have abhir for herself. She never tried talking to bp and told him she is not okay with this. But nahi she trusted everyone else than her gut feelings and got into this mess.

Main mistakes that AK did was

1. In last legs of pregnancy, she risked her life and her unborn twins to save few girls.. She had a complicated pregnancy and what if she had miscarried both her twins? Whom she would have blamed then? Will she have happily lived with Nav then?

2. She was not even concerned that due to her impulsive nature, her brother in law Neil died, her sister Arohi became a widow.

3. She hid Abhir from Abhimanyu for all these years and trying to punish him for giving her divorce and throwing her out.

In real life, no pregnant woman.. irrespective of whether she has single foetus or twins.. will NOT risk her life in her last trimester.

I’ve seen many pregnant women who take advance leave and sit at home 2 weeks prior to their due date so that their child is safe, they can rush to hospital from home itself if needed.

Manjari and Abhim loved him, but if you go back and watch those episodes you will realise Neil bursts out and says that he never felt he belonged or at home because of this. But Abhir despite getting to know the truth still loves the Sharmas, that’s why I am saying lack of love vs presence of the same. And no doubt Neil’s situation was because of Harsh, but Harsh’s actions came from Manjari’s decisions. I am not saying Ak is right Manjari is wrong or vice versa, that depends on people’s perspectives; all I am saying is there is a difference between both situations. Sharmas felt like a family while Birlas didn’t.
