Birlas and their life without Goenkas

So let us talk about Birlas for a change.

So we know Birla family mein formalities k rishte jyada the like rehte toh hain saath saath but doesn't care but younger generation loved eachother.

Be it cousins and Neil who was adopted as they were not aware of his parentage.

Now they have turned either too bad or overall the house gives a melancholic weird vibe.

Even though unintentionally I feel the entrance of Goenka siblings destroyed the siblings bond between Birlas and ruined them further.

Abhimanyu and Akshara coming together was the biggest mistake of their lives. It's like they cursed each others' families in a way. Not just a bad marriage but bad omen.

In fact if Arohi wasnt turned into an outright villain, but with her traits, was actually a grey character along with Abhimanyu, who was meant to a suljha hua grey character.. They would had a much better marriage, maybe not instant love.

Arohi and Abhimanyu were selfish in love and had no mahaanta bone in their bodies, they matched even when they fought. Takkar. They was conflict. They also had the academic enemies to lovers trope. DKP should have given both the jodis a fair chance and not turn one into a villain.

Abhimanyu should have mended the sisters' bond rather than ruining it further. It never gave rishta vibes at all.

Just a lot of lost opportunities. Abhimanyu and Akshara were so mismatched. Am glad they acknowledged it within the show that they fell in love with the idea of love and got married without really knowing each other and it was quite evident how they didn't agree on very important things. You look at Akshara-Naitik, Kartik-Naira, and then you look at Abhimanyu-Akshara and its not the same. Maybe it was the characterization, maybe storytelling. It was a mismatch. Gen 3 didn't click with me at all.

Birla’s jaise bhi hain I liked how they were normal and practical people. They showed the norm of dysfunctional families in this day and age and how professional people such as doctors lead their lives. I’m my opinion I find them much interesting than the Sharma’s who are too boring as there is barely no one except Neela.

Characters like Harsh and Mahima had lots of layers and depth which the makers could’ve focused on but no.

And yes to answer your question the bond between the younger Birla siblings was beautiful to watch as they truly loved each other unlike the elders. It’s stupid how the makers decided to kill off Anisha and Sweet Neel just for this pathetic leap!

At least they weren’t jealous, mahaan or had any hatred for each other unlike Goenka siblings.

Overall makers should be ashamed of themselves for ruining such beautiful bonds and for just removing this family instead of focusing on them and redeeming them.

Birlas were so good when introduced. I wish the focus was on them completely and not the Goenka sisters.

Also felt Neil could have given so much more power and much more to do than be Abhimanyu's shadow.

Infact i wish they had mature writing with respect to both Akshara and Arohi like they do now. It actually looks like a well characterized drama and not some Bollywood Step siblings revenge saga. They made Akshara too mahaan, Arohi too villainous and Kairav, spineless. All in the name of two minutes instant noodles love story.

@bold- When it wasn't Akshara's responsibility to heal his trauma why should it be on Abhi to heal her bond with her sisters.

I don't think they acknowledged that they were in love with the idea of love. If that was the case then Akshara coz she was in love with the idea of love ruined his life.

While Abhimanyu atleast clearly is in love however toxic that maybe.

Storytelling mujhe toh abi bhi smjh nahi aarhi

And while after leap they have all shown growth I couldn't help but take a step back in retrospect and realised at what cost.

For Goenkas siblings to realise that they need to grow accept the love of their siblings and be better person they kind of ruined another family a set of siblings that have nothing to do with their differences.

In every show,ML and their family use to be most powerful and happy, disciplined. The moment FL make entry everything fall apart. And villains start entering one by one.. kabhi iska accident, kabhi uska kidnapping, kabhi Ghar nilaam ho jana..FLs pehle problems ghar laati hain aur phir unhe solve karki hain.. villains ko expose karti hain phir khudh maaf karti hain, dusro ko maaf karne ko bolti hain aur jab dekhti hain villain/vamp change nehi hua, usko sab ke samne expose karne ki kaushish karti hain, jaise kisi ko pata hi nehi pehle villain ne kya kiya🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️Phuuuuuuuuu😵😵🤯🤯

Har show ki kahani.. yrkkh gen 3 is same.. Ak,ar entry turned their house upside down.. not like they were happy family, but at least they were minding their own business... Sirf Ar aati toh ghar pehle jaisa chalta.. Old aaru was like one of them😅

Abhira was truly a toxic relationship that was unnecessarily glorified. Such relationships don’t sustain, as there was lack of maturity in that relationship. But about the Birla household, it was already destroyed honestly. They were all toxic, Harsh was such a toxic character, Manjari ruined Neil’s childhood, Anisha was kind of disowned, Parth had to go through parental pressure and his passion was never supported, Abhim had childhood trauma and his hatred for his dad and the trauma ignited his anger issues and impulsive behavior. The Birla siblings were good but why nobody stood with Anisha or tried talking to her, pushing her so far that she thought running away was a better option? Specially Parth who was elder. How did Harsh get the courage of beating Neil? Did he do that earlier as well that became normal to do the same, and if so why nobody stood with him? Birla family was equally dysfunctional, but they got used to living a certain way and thought to continue the same way. That’s why Abhim used to get angry on Ak whenever she used to try bringing them together initially in their marriage.

Hhmmm naitik akshara , kartik naira loved each other while abhimanyu and akshara were a toxic couple since day one. 2 mins Maggie noodles love and Sami Sami plus tandav in dreams didn't work out . I still can't believe the writer put so much thought into it and corrected it 😅

Anyways.. I liked Birla family when they were introduced ..they had a lot of potential... And I didn't want akshu to be their.problem solver. Ye sab hua nai ulta divorce hi hi gaya and the rest they killed . Whata the fun? Buddhe reh gaye saare bache akshara kha gayi. Almost saare😆

Harsh was a wife beater. Manjari was in an abusive marriage. Abhimanyu had anger issues. Neil was mistreated. Anand-Mahima and Parth-Shefali had a very fragile marriage with loads of ego clashes. Aneesha was a cheater who was in a relationship with a married man and quite unstable. All these would have exploded sooner or later. Entry of Goenka had nothing to do with that. Both set of families were quite unstable with loads of internal conflicts. There was no need for external forces to destroy them. They would have done that themselves. It was in everybody's well being to go separate ways as they were incapable of functioning like grown up adults.
