I can understand your sympathy for Akshu but the writing is too poor to make her actions convincing. If being rejected does a number on your psyche, how come that number doesn't ring in Arohi's case? And Akshara isn't the only one who went through rejection and heartbreak in life....Abhi has experienced many versions of it too even before he met Akshara with all the rejection/heartbreak his father brought to his and his mom's life....and after he fell for Akshara, the bazillion times she rejected him and lied to his face.....then abandoned him for a year....these are all forms of rejection too that he has overcome and he still loves her.

So no, writers can't justify her actions simply over saying she felt rejected so her psyche changed into this...she reserves an especially cruel shade for Abhi that she doesn't for anyone else who has hurt her in her life. Abhi is the same in his anger with pretty much everyone he feels lied to him or let him down....but Akshara treats Abhi worse than she treats others who hurt her....it's the double standard in Akshara's case that doesn't allow one to connect to her.....writing is non-existent for her basically.....lol

There's a difference between Abhimanyu and Arohi

Akshara loves Arohi and she never loved Abhimanyu, as RS said she liked the idea of being in love with Abhimanyu, the larger than life romantic relationship every girl dreams of, was provided by Abhimanyu to her

But she never cared about his feelings or his family. The relationship didn't last

I resonate completely with u. Sorry for breaking your bubble as I know it hurts (been there myself) but writers showing Akshara equally loving Abhimanyu won’t ever happen. In real life too 1 partner loves more but I’ve always said these writers have taken that to infinity with leads. There was a glimpse of Akshara wanting to fight for her love after 1st leap when Khera tries to stop her from going to Abhimanyu. I being delusional thought writers finally came to senses but alas! Didn’t even last for few episodes. She threw her sacrifice for him on his face nullifying what she did for him. I blasted him when he insulted her for sacrifice but she kept shoving it in his face - I did this for u. I agree - that was something hardly any partner can do for another - and that did show her love. But was it too much to ask writers to show her fighting for her love? She just expected he has to understand why she did what she did. Hence now she’s irrelevant as a character for me at least. Did start relating with her after marriage but it went downhill too fast after 2nd leap. All I care about is Abhimanyu Abhir Ruhi. Its our misfortune that Abhimanyu loves Akshara no matter what - that’ll be the sole reason I’ll bear her on screen from now whenever I start watching again. Negative expectations from her. The least she can do is not hurt a dead/numb person anymore but I’m sure that’s also too much to ask.

Today's episode hurt. It stung so much that you feel the need to cry for the character. Harshad was legendary in this scene, the scene was heartbreaking yet captured all of our hearts.

I have to say Harshali are great actors, and they love abhira and their characters just as much as us despite their flaws.

I love ABHIRA, but I cannot accept them now. Not because Akshu is "apparently" in love with nav but because the intensity of abhi's love for akshu is way deeper than what akshu have or had for him. I heard in the OG serial the ML had memory loss, I want abhi to have that as well. I want akshu to crave for his love and to understand the importance of him in her life. The pain Abhi is going through I want akshu to go through the same process and become the better version of herself.

I know I will be going back to loving abhira in next few days when they give us Abhira 🍭🍭, but I seriously want akshu to have that journey as well otherwise we will always have a bitter reminder of how abhi's love is more intense and closer to heart than akshu's.

Same! I feel like that from the beginning, apart from the first leap when Ak sacrificed for Abhi, I always felt like Abhi's love was way more intense and present than Ak's love. I am not saying she doesn't love him, but the way he loves, it's really hard to compete with that. Before he loved with the expectation that he would get the same love back. I think after the first leap he kind of gave up on that. He no longer asked her to put him first and understood when she had other priorities. But then he was just asking her to take care of herself. When she couldn't even do that he started to feel like his love itself was wrong. That is what I understand from that part.

Now Ak has moved on, and it was difficult for her to move on and she spent 6 years hoping Abhi would show up. I get that. But now there is Nav and she loves him and stuff. But now Abhi is loving Ak with zero/negative expectations. He can't stop loving her or waiting for her so he is just existing around her and is Happy with that. I am amazed at this Abhi. I have been amazed throughout post leap his ability to accept Ak moved on again and again. And getting his heart broken again and again. And remembering the good moments alone and keeping Abhira alive in his heart all alone.

I disagree. I think she loved Abhi too in her own way. Both of them had expectations of each other and expectations of their relationship and both of them disappointed each other in that. Akshara doesn't love Arohi as much, she more so has an inferiority complex with her. Arohi has bullied her, their whole lives. Abhi despite Navra fans opinions, has never really bullied or insulted Ak. He has fought with her and tried to explain his side and just done a lot of what normal couples do but with the intensity of Abhimanyu Birla.

I think both Ak and Abhi have more expectations from each other so they are both worse with each other than with their families and hurt each other more than anyone else can. Now that Abhi has given up and hopefully stopped having expectations I hope he stops hurting. Ak's expectations are still there. That was her holding onto him.
