Furthermore, could anyone know, if not for Ak blurting it out, that aksnav marriage wasn’t consummated from the way they behaved.

Suddenly they become incapable, irresponsible for abhir to 6 saalon se kon dekh raha tha bhai?

For Abhi-Ruhi vs Abhir-Nav I do have some explanation:

1. We all wanted to see Ak's journey and her struggle as a mother. Nav kind of overshadows that. In contrast, no one really cared much about Arohi's motherhood journey so Abhi's involvement is not that much of an issue

2. Abhi had a responsibility towards Ruhi. He is never termed as being great or mahaan for taking care of Ruhi as his own daughter. But Nav's reasoning for helping Ak, being Abhir's father etc is just flimsy. It's explained as wanting a family but seriously, that's just not enough.

3. Ruhi is close with poppy but she is also close with Manjari and just the princess of the entire family. Abhi is just her fav member of the family. His situation isn't that of a full fledged parent yet. While Nav is doing everything from earning to taking care of Abhir. Ak's contribution has been questioned on this forum multiple times.

So because of that Nav Abhir relationship is scrutinized more. Only because it takes away from Ak Abhir relationship and moments that people wanted to see.

it doesn’t matter where that push come from, the main issue is she doesn’t want to lose nav no matter what. Even when he gave her option to opt out. You may call it whatever you want, but for me, this is how normal couple behave. Sex will come later when things stabilize. Ak said this herself.

I agree she was happy in status quo and didn’t want to disturb it. Status quo being pretence not a real relationship. And now she doesn’t want to lose Abhinav because she still wants to hold on to her pretentious world.

So on everything else we can agree to disagree 😊

You believe it was pretentious and I believe it is the most real relationship she has ever had with anyone.

Yes we can definitely agree to disagree.

1. I am here for story so for me every ckt is equal. & I am understanding that the both mother priorities other person for their respective kids so I am completely understanding everyone POV.

2. Abhi had responsibility towards Ruhi still he claims best father for Ruhi. He claims his HAQ on Ruhi too as foster father how could you forget his foster father lecture to Kairav.

3. She is close to Abhi more than anyone. Koi aise hi favorite family member ko papa nahi bana leta. The fact is Arohi gives that liberty to Abhi & Abhi gave that liberty to call her Poppy nahi to bade papa bolne main kya jaa raha tha aakhir rahte to ek hi ghar main na.

I completely understand. If you are watching for story then that is different. For me, I am watching for the main leads and want them to have enough screen space and POV so it is annoying.

Correct me if I am wrong, but after the first Udaipur trip, Nav has not been there for Ak, it's only been the other way around. The real issue began with Abhir's problem and the first thing Nav blamed Ak. He realized his mistake and apologized quickly. But from that point on, Ak has been in much greater emotional turmoil than Nav. Shouldn't he be consoling her? The only consolation from his end has been that Ak was wrong to fear Abhi, which she totally wasn't. On the other hand, Nav is insecure about his wealth, his relationship, his position, and everything. In each instance, Ak has to console him.

No that's not right. After that jail incident, Nav took steps from his side too.

After Abhir's illness was revealed, and Ak immediately started blaming herself Nav assured her otherwise. When Ak bursted out on Nav in stress of Abhir's surgery, he created no fuss and understood her anger as mother's fear.

After that on several occasions, when Ak was scared to bring Abhir to UD for surgery, during Gangaur, during pooja for Abhir's health, after hospital fire incident, during camp when Abhir found Ab's dulha photo, when Ak panicked listening to Gs discussion of custody battle, he has been her support.

The only diff I see is that Nav is shown silent and subtle in his support. Most of the times, he simply holds Ak's hands or wipes her tears and reminds her to not worry bcos they're together as a family. Ak on the contrary, even when they're alone, is more vocal in her support.

Idk if this contrast is some personality trait writers want to focus on or they're lazy while writing dialogues.

My take on these pts. -

As to the 1st pt., it indicates people wanting to just see leads. No issues with that we all have our reasons to watch. But there are other people as well who watch either for the story, or for other ckts.

In that sense, Ru-Ab bond is also as glorified as NavBhir. As someone mentioned in another thread, post-leap the focus has been more on father-child bond, rather than mother-child.

As to the 2nd pt., at the end of the day, Ab is directly linked to Ru as her bade papa. He had a promise to fulfill to his own brother. Nav had absolutely no social or emotional obligation to help Ak-Abhir. He was a complete stranger. Whatever reasoning might be given, in this matter, Nav is justifiably on a higher pedestal than Ab.

As to 3rd pt., Ab was much much more than fav fam member for Ru. That's why when she was bullied, she didn't once ask Ar to get a father for her, she directly stated poppy to become her father. This implies that she'd already given him her father's status mentally & emotionally.

As to Ak-Abhir scenes its totally subjective. Some feel they were shown, some feel they weren't.

PS on a side note, thanks for opening this thread. I absolutely loved reading the diff povs shared here ❤️

Just because you said you are watching for the story and so am I. Hence I try to look for everyone’s point of view. I kind of get everyone’s point of view except Ak’s.

She hid away in Kasuali coz it was trauma?

She didn’t want to tell AbhiM about Abhir even after they met by chance in Kasuali - revenge?

She hid the fact that Abhir is AbhiM son from Goenkas even after Abhi found out - fear?

But at last minute she wanted to wake up Bade Papa in middle of the night to tell him when Manjiri found out - manipulation?

Inspite of studying law for 5 years she didn’t know financial circumstances will be dragged in custody battle - dumb, careless?

talking to Abhir about rejecting big house and wearing old shoes - manipulation?

She is a jalebi character to me. And her point of view changes every few episodes and her righteousness changes with circumstances?

Yeah I understand. I think it's on the writer's part. Nav's support is always shown silent like that. But reassuring someone is very different from supporting them. Nav stands by Ak like a rock and helps her stand up. Ak on the other hand is literally lifting Nav up. I think the emotional burden is still greater on Ak than Nav and that should be explored more.
