Ever since the 2nd leap happened, people have been divided in their opinions & have made valid arguments. This isn't a justification post for her actions (bcos frankly the writing isn't consistent and taut to find sufficient logic behind all motivations).. rather this is my understanding of the ckt's responses. (PS this is gonna be long post)
Why Ak didn't text Ab? Bcos she knew that Ab would come for the child, But she wanted him to come for her. When Ab in his anger said, "Nahi lena-dena usse ya bachhe se", it's true as some pointed out that you can't reject someone/something you don't know about. So in Ak's mind who was he basically rejecting? Her! Just like he did during the 1st call.
She wanted Ab to come for her and not just the child Bcos Ak was used to receiving the second hand treatment since childhood. She knows the hurt and suffocation that comes with it. Ab was the first in her life to make her a priority. In the initial days, she didn't face competition from mata. She herself had distorted idea of relationships, so she didn't really mind Ab's love tactics. For her with Ab everything was like the fairytale description of love - a prince charming coming to save a damsel in distress.
She understood that going back for just the child would effectively subjugate her again to a lifetime of second-hand treatment. She knew mata detested her & her only passkey to B mansion would be being the vessel of child birth or the prime caretaker. This wouldn't just be unhealthy for her but also the child.
Also, would like to add that Ak at that pt. didn't know of mata's panic attacks or Ar's pregnancy continuation dilemma. Had she known, being an empath, she would've kept their problems above herself & understood Ab's pov. But in reality she just heard Ab's words & the utter betrayal it was of all the promises and love they shared. She confessed that she kept waiting for Ab throughout her pregnancy & wanted him to be by her side. When he didn't come or even called, it broke her hope, and made her bitter towards all their memories. That's why she's still the most angry with him.
Now she could've reached out to her family to get help. But sadly she heard BP acknowledging her being indirectly responsible for Neel's death. Why this affected her so much? Bcos she had already faced the indirect accusations of murdering Sirat from the same family and was traumatized by it upto the extent that she left G house to live in hostel. In the state she was she had no will to face that unsaid trauma again.
Her then accidental meeting with Nav led to a series of events that provided her with an alternative of starting afresh. It opened up a possibility for her to live away from her past, build a stable life for her kid and live on her own terms. So she chose it.
Now the reason she never reached out to Gs in 6 long yrs or visited UD was bcos she believed whenever she went back tragic events occurred that eclipsed the happiness of people she loved n cared about. This belief arising due to her internal guilt, coupled with her desire to not rock her peaceful Kasauli life restrained her from contacting Gs frequently.
Currently what Ak is doing & thinking I would write in another post. I want to see how the next few episodes unfold.
PS few things I couldn't find logic to -
1. Why didn't Gs even once come to meet Ak despite knowing she suddenly married a random guy? Doesn't this make their claims of familial bonds dubious?
2. Why didn't BP if he'd once come to visit Ak in Kasauli got to know about Abhir's age? Or how come no one asks of Abhir's age?
3. What's with all the ckts. odd day - even day formula? It's seriously offputting.
Also, for Ak being shown penniless, I think gpay, phonepay, paytm nothing exists in yrkkh. When Ak left B mansion ofc in that state she wouldn't have remembered taking her purse & credit card, but phone to tha. So I guess yeh tech pahuchi nhi hogi uss universe mein.
