General Audience thoughts on Abhira V/S Akshnav - Page 2

I dnt get whats the problem. A part of audience doesnt like the character of AbhiM. But the die hard fans of Abhira still like dem. It is what it is .

But I have only one problem.. The question was not exactly unbiased.. It certainly was showing Abhimayu's in a bad light and Abhinav in a good light..

Shouldn't the question have been just 'Should Akshara choose to go back with Abhimanyu or Stay with Abhinav?'

If the poll itself has biased questions wouldn't it affect the results?

I mean maybe so but the message on the poll is factual its literally what's shown in the show, so the message isn't anything incorrect and at this point this knowledge needs to be attributed to this whole discussion because why should Akshara go back to Abhimanyu, especially after what he's done and continues to do.

Yeah not really talking about the people who like Abhira and Manyu, some diehards like him and them and thats fine thats their like but my point wasn't about them it was about the general audience liking Akshnav and the non toxicity between them, hence why I specified general audience in the title.

It's quite interesting to see this and this is the real verified glitzvision with 1.6m subscribers. I know this is a small sample size but most promo teaser on the star plus channel and other channels have comments supporting Abhinav and Akshara and the fact that on a poll of 6k votes is outstandingly in favour for Akshnav is amazing. Just shows that people like progressive and positivity and not the garbage we get to see with Abhira and Birla's.

Exactly many want to see mature, grounded relationships & progressive stuff. ITV seriously needs to change its discourse. Instead of hyping toxic ml in name of eternal love, they should show fl realizing, healing and moving on.

The poll was maybe on a limited sample yet it shows there are quite some people willing to watch AkshNav. Against the popular narrative that "nobody will watch" if Abhira isn't the endgame or the show will come crashing down to 0.2 trp.

Also Akshnav only exists due to what Abhimanyu did that day and if we do a poll in an unbiased way forgetting the sins of Abhimanyu and Abhinav's good deeds then Akshnav literally has nothing to go off of, there would be no reason for them to really be together as they would not have any story, this poll is about the story and should Akshara stay with Abhinav or go back to Abhimanyu and hence a little backstory is required to judge it in accordance to how the audience want the story to go based on the past.

Sure Abhimanyu has done some good things and should be commended for them, but hes done more harm in my opinion. I personally don't think the question affects much as the poll didn't go into detail about what happened and is a very loose interpretation of what happened that day, what happened was far worse and is undefendable. I also feel that you see a true persons colour when you face tough times together, do they run? stay and fight with you? or blame you? 3 very important things happened on white day that makes Abhimanyu Birla undefendable to me.

1. Akshara lost one of her children trying to save Neil and believed she lost both and was under extreme stress and sadness due to the miscarriage.

2. Abhimanyu blamed her for not only Neil but the kids death (the very kids he was willing to abort if something happened to Akshara) and this could've been forgiven had he apologised, maybe not even as quick as Abhinav but apologise no matter how long it takes and he still hasn't apologised to her directly yet.

3. Abhimanyu blamed Akshara for Sirat's death. This for me is also another reason why I can't defend any of Abhimanyu's actions. Sirat dying had affected Akshara extremely badly, and for Abhimanyu to weaponise something that had affected her so deeply against her after she miscarried is vile.

Sure you can remember Abhimanyu's good things but in comparison to the good he has done, he also did something far worse that counters all the good he has done and I know you are not defending Abhimanyu, I'm just stating my thought process on why the background knowledge is fine.

Do not club them with HC fans. Actors are not responsible for trps when naira died people said the same trps gir jayengi and all when gen 2 ended people said this show will not run for a month but nothing happened

If actors were responsible for trps then balika vadhu 2/bepannah wouldn't have flopped

What i know is in india only trp matters. Ye poll and all are waste. If audience choice really mattered tbh honest leap would have not happened in the first place.

We online audience are just treated as noise for them..the main target for them is offline audience as that gives them the revenue in terms of ads.

Correct. There are lot many good shows which got off aired due to low trp where as they deserved to be on top. If we consider sony shows as an example they have very good content(KA journey of a mother, chalaang journey of a girl who moved to mumbai for her career). But trp audience do not like drama less shows.

Even pushpa is less popular than anupama. Where as pushpa i heard is lot better than anupama.

But still ppl watch anupama even ppl hype anupama . online and offline audience like anupama more than pushpa as the show in which there is no drama gets boring over time. And we feel exhausted watching same thing on tv.

Its so funny, I provided proof as well and Abhimanyu fans still can't take that people don't like Abhimanyu because of how horrible he is and have started to prefer Abhinav. SPOILER ALERT, Harshad wasn't the reason the show run then or now and the show will continue without him eventually. The TRP audience are not watching the show for specific actors, if it was this show would've ended before Gen 2 after Hina left.
