Also Akshnav only exists due to what Abhimanyu did that day and if we do a poll in an unbiased way forgetting the sins of Abhimanyu and Abhinav's good deeds then Akshnav literally has nothing to go off of, there would be no reason for them to really be together as they would not have any story, this poll is about the story and should Akshara stay with Abhinav or go back to Abhimanyu and hence a little backstory is required to judge it in accordance to how the audience want the story to go based on the past.

Sure Abhimanyu has done some good things and should be commended for them, but hes done more harm in my opinion. I personally don't think the question affects much as the poll didn't go into detail about what happened and is a very loose interpretation of what happened that day, what happened was far worse and is undefendable. I also feel that you see a true persons colour when you face tough times together, do they run? stay and fight with you? or blame you? 3 very important things happened on white day that makes Abhimanyu Birla undefendable to me.

1. Akshara lost one of her children trying to save Neil and believed she lost both and was under extreme stress and sadness due to the miscarriage.

2. Abhimanyu blamed her for not only Neil but the kids death (the very kids he was willing to abort if something happened to Akshara) and this could've been forgiven had he apologised, maybe not even as quick as Abhinav but apologise no matter how long it takes and he still hasn't apologised to her directly yet.

3. Abhimanyu blamed Akshara for Sirat's death. This for me is also another reason why I can't defend any of Abhimanyu's actions. Sirat dying had affected Akshara extremely badly, and for Abhimanyu to weaponise something that had affected her so deeply against her after she miscarried is vile.

Sure you can remember Abhimanyu's good things but in comparison to the good he has done, he also did something far worse that counters all the good he has done and I know you are not defending Abhimanyu, I'm just stating my thought process on why the background knowledge is fine.

I agree. These points for me washed all his good deeds but to be honest i don't even recall his good deeds. Abhimanyu as a character was a gaslighter and victim card player since start. He sent the divorce papers first and has the audacity to say that k itna aasan tha sign krna as if she initiated the separation.

Seriously I always wondered how it always becomes the other person’s problem with Abhimanyu .. he seems to be forever testing Akshara .. if I send divorce papers and she tears. It then only I will believe she loves me , if she accepts my decision then that means she didn’t love me .but sending divorce papers is not a reflection of my love or lack of it , my respect or lack of it etc for Abhimanyu.. . or I got kaurav and Manish arrested because Maa was in coma and I couldn’t speak to her .. I sent divorce papers also for the same reason .. fir a top surgeon he really is pretty juvenile and never feels responsible for his actions with Akshu and never feels his mom is responsible for anything either

It's quite interesting to see this and this is the real verified glitzvision with 1.6m subscribers. I know this is a small sample size but most promo teaser on the star plus channel and other channels have comments supporting Abhinav and Akshara and the fact that on a poll of 6k votes is outstandingly in favour for Akshnav is amazing. Just shows that people like progressive and positivity and not the garbage we get to see with Abhira and Birla's.

This is the main point for me. It is not about AkshNav or AbhiRa, but the toxicity that was served in the name of soul love, family etc. If I wanted to see intense toxic nonsense, I can simply opt for any Ekta or GK show. They do it much better. Yeh rishta had a standard, a legacy which has gone down terribly with each new season. But introduction of Abhinav, AkshNav and Kasauli track was a refreshing go back to the old times of the show. Me, as a viewer wants that non-toxic, simple domesticity.
