Akshara's expectations

It is finally today's episode that makes me hate Abhi. I can no longer see Abhira together and will actually want Abhi to get married to Arohi and just live his life and let Ak live hers. Akshara loved him, and he never accepted it. He acted like a jerk when she sacrificed her voice for him. He then conveniently forgot all about that. With no acknowledgment, Ak came back to him. He had all the happiness in the world, and then in one day, he trashed it. Did not even think about Ak for months until she called to say she got married. Ignored her calls when she may have actually been in real danger. Ak fully expected Abhi to stand by her with Neil's death accusations. She was legit surprised when he also blamed her and told her to go. Then she expected that he would come running to her and forget everything when he got to know about his one living kid. But no, he did not even listen. She waited those seven months, only for him. She didn't inform her family because she was waiting for him to come to her. But nothing. Then one day she realized that this sweet guy Nav has been with her through all of this, has kept her and her kid alive while expecting nothing in return. She realized that her kid will need a father figure and took a drastic step to make Nav her kid's father.

Even after that, she still expected Abhi to come back someday. To feel guilty, to somehow make up for things. She waited for him and kept Nav at arm's length. Her anger increased with each passing day. She started seeing Abhi for the first time, analyzing his mistakes and his behavior toward her. Her anger turned to fear, and she slowly started seeing Abhi's real face. She knew this would happen, Abhi would take her kid and destroy her peace. Even now, with Abhi as a villain in her mind, she still never thought about moving on. Her anger and her fear still hid the fact that she wanted things to work out.

When Abhi came to Kasauli, she had full expectations that he would realize Abhir is his son, Abhira's Abhir. But Abhi never really believed in her or her love, he could not see past the facade she had created. He tried to make a small apology as if his guilt would be assuaged by her forgiving him. But she went after him and told him that she REJECTS it. He does not have any realization, just guilt for how his life turned out, not what his role in that was.

First Udaipur trip, Abhi announced marrying Arohi, KM again blamed her, and Abhi again stood by KM in her blame. Nothing had changed. Abhi had not even told anybody that he was at fault for the divorce and that he rejected her calls. Nothing. At this point, she gave up. Abhi would never understand her POV, let alone support her. BP and Nav's letter opened her eyes to the possibility of happiness that already existed. That she had denied herself all these years waiting for Abhi. Abhi's accident reignited her feelings, but she also saw how hollow her feelings are without his reciprocation. What is the point of these feelings when the person itself is undeserving? She vowed to move on. Abhi came after her and asked her to come back to him. This was all to reminiscent of the first divorce track when he asked her to come back. Then she had given in to his demands, then she had let her love overcome her fears, then she had expected Abhi to love her and believe her. Now all of that was over, and she saw how he just didn't understand. She reminded him, told him everything she felt, how he had insulted her, left her to die, and didn't love her. She left Udaipur with the mission to keep her new family intact, whatever the cost. She left knowing she had to move on for her own sake. She left knowing that her love for Abhi will never be enough and that she had to learn to love Nav. Her whole plan was going well, with each ritual and each expectation of the relationship, she was getting closer to being in love with Nav. But then Abhir fell sick. Everything changed again. She had to go to Abhi, he had to find out the truth.

Abhi's blames were as she expected, and she told him everything. Reminded him again how he left her. But even after all of this, Abhi cannot change. He is who he is. Even today, she expected him to speak up. Tell Manjari what his role in everything was. How he is at fault for the six years. But he let her blame Ak. He even agreed to the blames and told her that Ak was wrong to hide it. When Ak started speaking, he hung his head in shame but still, still, had no realization.

Abhi can no longer be redeemed. There is nothing left for him to do. Maybe he can drop the custody case, but even so, he already destroyed Abhir's life by revealing the truth like this. Why would Ak ever forgive him? If Abhira do end up together, it will be a huge compromise. Ak will hate Abhi. Abhi will keep trying to win her love with zero realization. Ak may finally give in to ensure a happy life, but that's not her being in love with him again. She just wants peace, and if she could move on with Nav for peace, I am sure she can also move on with Abhi for peace. Everything, respect, and trust that Abhi now wants to give her is too little and too late.

I kind of wish they stopped showing Abhi so guilty. If he is guilty, why is he not doing anything about it? I wish they would just show Abhi as being completely evil. That would be way more fun than expecting any sort of redemption right now.

Him being angry with her before the first divorce also I can understand to an extent. But this time around he is unbearable. I don’t like how he doesn’t even understand why Ruhi is getting affected in this, akshara had to come and explain to him and roohis is supposed to be his jaan.

I don’t know what will make Manjiri get off her high horse. When abhir rejects them ? Even then she has scapegoats to blame . Shameless woman just one episode before she asked abhir to stay away , didn’t even respond to him when he asked if he was dirty etc etc, heights of shamelessness.

I never understood why were Goenka treating Abhimanyu as their son behaving well with him, after what he did to akshu on white day. Except for Kairav no one was holding any grudges instead they were scolding Kairav. They are so weird.

They should have been lil distant atleast

Yeah, I think Abhir's rejection is the next blow, but as to realization. I don't know. It's all too random. Like Abhi randomly realizing that he still loves Ak, he may randomly realize that he is at fault. In the Abhir birthday episode, he had a moment of doubt about whether he is actually wrong, like Ak said. But then it quickly went away when he remembered Abhir enjoying himself with him. So he may get a realization very abruptly, and then once Abhi actually feels guilty, he will make Manjari also realize.

Goenkas are the biggest mystery to me from the beginning. I think now they will finally support Ak cause back then, they had no idea why Ak wasn't coming back to them. But more importantly, I think they agreed with Manjari that it was Ak's fault, so they also agreed with her punishment.

I didn’t understand the precap of today’s episode. What was that? ESP the bit with abhi and Akshara in the end. was it abhi realising his mistakes?
