Didn't watch d series routinely (so might be wrong) but I'm guessing "sachha soul pyaar" trumped everything. . . . I'm gonna go off-topic here but honestly I'm tired of this topic. These days a lot of talk on Indian culture, Indian values, this that is goin' on in d forum. But most are conveniently quoting one thing n forgettin' another! Yes soul love term is what's used to define our deities jodis who were made for eo. So I get that if they used d terminology for Ak-Manyu, showing them moving on now with other ppl feel like mockery to some (reasonable enough)... But isn't is equal mockery of our culture if Ak returns to Manyu? . . Let go of d norms of 21st century, let's talk of our age-old epic. Irrespective of d circumstances, lord Ram asked maa Sita to leave. She definitely proceeded to raise her sons alone, but when asked to return to lord Ram maa Sita chose leaving this world over going back to d place she was disrespected. And that's my whole reasoning. . I've no issues with single mothers or a woman choosing not to remarry. Yes a woman doesn't need a man to raise her children. We've this story since Ramayana. My issue is with fans wishing a reunion under its disguise! If Abhira fans wished for a stronger fl who left Manyu for good after d white day, & either decided to never remarry or decided to only entertain a guy after getting ready to move on, I would totally totally stand by them with all my heart 🖖.. But this hidden desire of Ak staying single so that she's easy to be won over by ml is what's frankly disgusting for me. No matter whatever apology or realization or redemption is achieved from Manyu's or Birla's side, a woman cannot & should not return to a place she was so badly humiliated.. Period! Therefore, these half-baked, twisted women empowerment cries of shippers r going over my head.

Plus ihswari learnt her lesson. No idea of what happened in season 2

Then wait a little.longer. manjari will show the same growth. Bec when these women see their grandchildren , their mamta resurface and for that they can easily reconcile with their dils who they hate for "taking away their sons" .

Ishwari never learnt the lesson. First time she bent for sonakshi was when her son turned into a devdas for not given permission to marry sonakshi..second time she did was when dev was devastated again after separation from sonakshi...poor woman she couldn't believe her son can pine for someone other than her 😆 when he turned into aawara pagal deewana she wanted sonakshi in his life again to fix him..and then she wanted her grand daughter who she believed would never exist as pregnancy was next to impossible for sonakshi . When it came to her son she cud do anything..did she do anything for sonakshi? . Find any resemblance ?

Dear Love is a very strange thing, there's a new spring after all the leaves are being shed, similarly relations. Relationships with ppl can get complicated, yet we can't live without them.

That doesn't mean take everything lying down, use the brains, sometimes we have to lose the battle to win the war. IMO Life is a relay race, I liked it when Sonakshi gave it back to Dev for doubting her friendship with Jathin.

This post reminded me of edt days of krpkab😆 tias thread and our fun there. When leap.was introduced and dev became sasta dev das Kabir Singh mode it was hilarious. The only good thing about that leap was Sonakshi being the adult sane person let dev bond with the kid. The moment she went back to him, without any head or tails, is the moment it a went down. Of.course she had to, itv woman can't move on...but it was very haphazard. Dev also turned worse, with the stalking and trying to pull ASR. Dev was a lot of things, but he wasn't that.

I'd pretend S3 krpkab and IPKKND 3 never happened.

And then came S3 or whatever and it was just trash.

Manjari is no less. She chose and accepted akshu whenever abhi wanted her. When abhi didn't she easily threw her.

Beta ran leaving shadi for ak. Mata stood behind for beta.

Ak ran away from home beta chose not to talk mata took advantage and showed her pure hate.

Beta toh kam nehi.

Maa scolded ak, blamed ak i too will do that karke kicked her during adoption, after Neil death and so on.

In between mata ka time pass and her real wish to get an equal partner for her son dr aarohi. 🙏🙏🙏

This mamma's boy nonsense is real. Such guys should choose only what their mother wants or wishes not what they want and stamp that girl keeping her in between mom and son.

Even harsh the own father and husband of manjari lost against this mamma's boy what's akshu who he met just few days, months or years back.

In real life too it's very tough to deal with mamma's boy it's always like walking on coal. Until the guy learns to balance both and set his boundaries for mamma ka pyar and biwi ki pyar life is yuck.

I loved what u just said. But I also believe that making the same mistakes again and again would yield the same results. So in some situations it's best to run away but I also agree that it's not possible for all..everyone tries to hold to the last thread of hope that everything will be better for good. If not today then tomorrow.

👍

They butchered her mom too , Asha kept pushing Sonakshi towards Dev and conspired with Ishwari to make Sonakshi jealous and have her accept Dev back .

For all her supportive mom act , Asha turned out to be very irritating after leap . Why would you conspire with someone who insulted and hurt your child so much . Let Sonakshi decide for herself what’s the need to push her towards her ex 🤪.

Infact Dev acknowledged that their previous marriage has left Sonakshi traumatised and she’s not ready to accept him back but these two old women didn’t have patience and created whole drama to reunite them .

All of that felt very wrong & I was very disappointed with Sonakshi 🤔.

Asha was unnecessarily rude to Bijoy post leap.

I hated how sweet she was to Dev post leap , just like how I dislike Abhinav being too sweet to Bhaiji

And then in the new season, everything was back to square one. Ishwari was as obnoxious as ever and Dev was the same momma's boy who was willing to jeopardize the relationship between a mother and her son so that his mother's image would remain unscathed in his son's eyes.

He did blame her initially 😆 , in fact he blamed both Ishwari and Sonakshi for his kabir Singh state. He did distance himself from Ishwari and sisters .

Even before reunion he confronted Ishwari and acknowledged mistakes they made but after that haphazard reunion everything went downhill and they went back to square one .

Most shows on Star Plus run on "Bechari Nari" narrative.

There's guy #1 and a woman, women see themselves in this woman and fall in love with the guy then they wait for that guy to eff up so they can abuse him and wait for guy #2, everyone lines up writing love letters for guy #2 because he is amazing forgetting that guy #2 like guy #1 will be a jerk overnight for the woman to continue playing role of "Bechari Nari"

So, why women go back to their husbands? BECAUSE they can always find villains in the old family and wouldn't have to hire new characters and biggest TRP puller is husband going nuts and insulting his wife

Look at what they did to Anuj, he is no negative character and they are not doing it for Vanraj

It is business and the primary goal is to put out more and more episodes

About Akshara and Sonakshi, Sona was a strong lady and Akshara is the most irritating ITV protagonist

Same. I was extremely annoyed with Asha's behavior. Sona, Soha and Bijoy were the only people I liked after the leap.
