Akshara n Sonakshi

Hello friends,ive been a regular n silent follower of this forum since long.. But today I cudnt help myself from posting this. I started watching yrkkh during first leap got addicted immediately..but whatever crap they r serving m seriously loosing interest now n relying on written updates here for whether to watch d episode or not..

So now I m on repeat mode n watching krpkab. Believe me dat show is one of its kind n u can be seriously addicted to it again n again!!! Now dat i am watching both d female characters (Akshara n sonakshi) I cudnt stop myself from comparing them both. Such a strong character Sonakshi is!!!clear in her thoughts n decisions. She never hid identity of suhanas father from her, despite leaving away from him for 7 yrs...N also wen Dev got to know about his daughter she was open to dat situation also.... I seriously feel dat it cud hav been such a great story if CVS had shown akshara abhinav as best frnds n akshara as an independent woman.. After so many sufferings she still seems to b d same ziddi confused soul...!!

The big difference between the two is Sonakshi had a career and supportive family so she cud support her daughter financially. Akshara had neither. Goenka’s r basically useless. Otherwise who asks their daughter to stay away because of another daughter. Maybe they shud ask arohi to stay at Birla house and not come to Goenka house.why should Akshara sacrifice. Sonakshi’s family was there with her throughout especially her dad was vary if Dev after what he did. I was thinking abt kuch rang when I was seeing the post leap scenes. Dev’s mom and Manjiri r the villains in separating the leads still blame their ex bahu for leaving their son and moving on. They expect them to stick around hanging on to their sons even if they kick them out

That's where Abhinav comes in.

Sonakshi was a better written character with great arc.

Yrkkh all characters are shit compared to that show.

I used to like that show back then. But now that I think of it, Dev never really confronted his mother for what she did to him amd Sonakshi, he did not even acknowledge her role in the breakup of their marriage. And then in the new season, everything was back to square one. Ishwari was as obnoxious as ever and Dev was the same momma's boy who was willing to jeopardize the relationship between a mother and her son so that his mother's image would remain unscathed in his son's eyes.

Mujhe samajh nai aata what's the huge problem with akshu choosing to live with abhinav ?

Sonakshi yes she was a strong character (probably the only strong female character on itv in the last decade ) , but she too couldn't solve these riddles between ma beta , got stuck in between n quit. She too couldn't balance out the equation ..thereby sending a message that it's Impossible to have a happy married life with mammas boys. They can fall in love but never take it to end bec it can either be the mother or wife not both. Sonakshis will also weakened when she continuously chose dev..these were not pyar ke rang. That guy was totally not himself towards the end ..sonakshi hardly had happy and peaceful moments with him....I guess both the women suffocated him with their love and he was just useless , dono ko nai Shambhal saka...

I believe akshu is in a better place bec she had quit the toxic environment (obviously its itv so she will come bk to the same person again and again) but at least for sometime she quits , 6 yrs is long . Plus she chose abhinav , temporary hi sahi. There was a guy post leap who wanted to marry sonakshi (I remember jai Soni also played a cameo as sonakshis suitor previously ) , but she went bk to dev .

So yeah it's imp to show women moving on if they wanna stress on the toxicity of love and marriage.

Agree with you totally, but we do not live in a monochromatic world, people come with their unique strengths and weaknesses.

I am all for sarvejanaa sukhinobhavanthu, after all we take birth to realise that our true happiness lies within, only after running behind every person in the name of some relationship 🤣moving on with another person or living single is a personal choice and it should be respected, it's fine.

My problem with Akshu is her disfunctional moral compass and dishonesty. She wasn't given proper dialogues, where you can relate with her DDP. Most of the time the toxicity in her life is her own making.

Sad to see the notion "Sonakshi is strong because she's financially independent" I disagree with that, there are many smart and strong illiterate women standing up like lioness taking care of their kids and home. Limitations exist in our own mindset, not because of possessions.

I always liked Sonakshi for her honesty and her attitude to face adverse situations. She's indeed very well written.

I think women are capable and powerful than what can be imagined or expected. Few unfortunate incidents or situations neither determine nor deter a woman's courage and strength of character. I'm adding others to know their different perspective.

I didn't watch season 2.

But for season one i think coz his mother's character growth was good unlike Manjari. So season one post leap was good and ended on a good note.

Plus ihswari learnt her lesson. No idea of what happened in season 2

Also, by independent i never meant only financially (explained), I wanted Akshu to take strong stands for herself I didn't enjoy her being happy seeing Abhir and Manjari- that women says anything to her, blames, Destroy her marriage, she should have said something when she blamed her for Abhi's accident but she just stands there.

About financially the only reason i want Sharma family to be financially strong coz from the start Birlas specially Mahima was taunting her for career and they talk about money and standard alot so just to show her would have enjoyed if the dynamics have changed anyway jab Dhadkan mein Dev ameer ban skta hai toh why not Sharma family 🤣

Yup exactly it's a real treat to watch dat season it seems to b much realistic in all sense.. Sonakshi had a best friend who was wid her wen Soha was born but despite being so close wid her friend she was very much clear about her feelings...neither did her frnd expect anything from her n yes's I agree wid d point dat sonakshi had a gr8 family backing which made her sail through d tough situation... Time n again I must agree she is one of d best female characters written on tv

I think d chupa chupi khel which akshara has been doing since starting of d show is one of her weakest point. She needs to b more vocal about her things dat could probably solve most of her problems.
