Then couple of things cross my mind. She has been in touch with Manish, wouldnt she have known had Abhi married her sister or would Manish have played along.

She has always known Abhi cant stand Aarohi, yes she knows he is a man of extremes, but to believe he would have married her sister seems a little far fetched. Abhi has always had trust issues, but I thought Akshu didnt or did his horrendous act destroy her trust in him completely.

Whilst my heart refuses to believe Abhi is capable of what he did, my head says may be. Akshu on the other hand I find it hard to digest she has continued this fake real marriage charade. Dont know what the makers are trying to prove. May be as Ash or Choco(I think) suggested, it is just to slide in Abrohi. They are hell bent on shoving them down our throat. I end with the same question, if Abhira are the end game, how on earth are they going to untangle this mess push Aaorhi and Nav off the cliff?. Will get some satisfaction if Abhi does the honours with Aarohi(in all honestly I am not in favour of anyone dying), for once we need goenka's losing someone, blasting the mighty birlas (Kairav can take the lead here) and Abhi gets to know how it feels to be on the other side.

All said and done, to me Abhira essence is lost, I still love them but they will never be the same. I am just going to enjoy watching the adorable Abhir. Falling in love with him slowly but surely.

Oh if a goenka deadth is to happen better it be mimi.i don't want any young goenka to die.that family has seen so many deadth shubham,naira,karthik ,seerat.dont want them to suffer more even if they are fictional

I think why she decided to fake marry had already been discussed, small town and stuff. It just seems like a part of the storybook happy family she has created there. I don't think it has much to do with a happy marriage, but more so a happy family. I am not justifying her decisions or supporting her character. But what she is doing isn't very surprising is all. She is that sort of person.

@Bold I'm sorry but I fail to understand how Akshara can lie to her son when she herself has experienced how this charade of a happy family can ruin your entire life. Akshara was legit Abhir in her childhood! So that makes it ten times worse for me knowing that she knows the consequences of such a lie.

Actually, its the opposite. She didn't have her parents with her, and she wants abhir to have both parents. She grew up as an orphan in a big family, but I am not sure its a happy family. Here, she can give abhir what she never had, loving and supportive parents whose whole world is abhir.

My point wasn't about whether she had a happy family or not. She had Sirat whom she thought was her biological mum and it broke her and Arohi when the truth was revealed. That's what I am talking about: the aftermath

Same will happen to Abhir and Ruhi now and it's not really fair on them. I really don't know why the makers do this to the main characters. Akshara should have come back stronger, not weaker.

I'm sure arhu was an ass before even finding about sirat! Also akshu still loved sirat the same even after finding out she wasn't her biological mother! Witnessing sirats death and being blamed for causing sirats death is what caused akshus trauma! Her extended family wasn't as supportive and let her fester in arhus abuse! They let it happen.

Arhu became more of an ass towards akshu after sirat revelation.

As far as I remember, Akshara was devastated when she found out that Sirat wasnt her actual mum. She felt like she didn't belong. Arohi also changed for the worse because she felt her mum was never accepted like Naira. So all these lies did effect the girls just like it will affect Ruhi and Abhir.

At least there sirat was Kartik's real wife so it wasn't the same as this. Abhir is going to have actual identity crisis and trust issues.
