Star plus is crazy. It's maximum shows are still in top 10 and compared to other channels are doing much much better inspite of crappy dull storylines.

The leap was rushed and totally unnecessary. The reason for Abhira separation was even more dumb. For few hours of surgery Akshara left Abhimanyu for one whole year. It's not like he would have lost his life if his surgery hadn't taken place. Middle class viewers won't care about Birla hospital's owner's son not becoming a surgeon again. 😄 He could have become part of the board of directors of the hospital. Plus he has enough money to live without doing any job. In this post pandemic era middle class Indians will suffer without a job, not these rich privileged Indians. Maybe they could have shown Abhira fighting over Kairav. Abhi thinking his sister was right and Akshara thinking her brother is right. Akshara would have left Abhimanyu and the Kheras would have helped her and she would have returned the favor by becoming the voice of Maya. That would have made more sense.

While reading it , your idea of separation with angst had me more excited than the actual leap which was duh ! Logic ki ma behen karni hoti hai par itni Kar denge toh kzk2 ban jayega 👎🏼 🤣

True, the sole reason for separation ought to be only Kairav.

First and foremost as a child he saw half of his family members die in front of his own eyes. He had to manage a abusive younger sister and good for nothing elders. Took charge of the family business and tried his best to keep everything afloat.

Kairav's is Rishta Ka Joan of Arc.

The writers are misleading the viewers with their expertise execution.

On one side Ak says yes to KK's deal and on the other side she has made detailed plans to hide her brother in a foreign land.

Stick to your cause.

The creatives are thinking when rival producers can show pathetic content wherein babies come out without SR etc then why not write a sacrifice track which has no rhyme or reason.

They have to realise that their viewers has to buy whatever is shown.

There is definitely a huge denial from the other end as the same show had absurd plots during S2.

The multiple separations, reunions or out of context medical reasons ie brick falls on the leads head and kidneys getting damaged.

DKP has to understand that Kaira was accepted by the tv fans but Abhira as a couple hasn't struck the right chords

A lot of heavy duty dramas have kept trps stable when romance has failed.

The only upswing in numbers happens during celebrations.

I do say this again and again because I really do see this as the most prominent marker of the show dumping its authenticity for greater gains i.e. trps but Naitik's disappearance was the point of no return in terms of holding onto the substance and values the show centered around for most of its runtime. Somehow separation = trps became a fixture and they really stopped caring about anything else. Like why try and find more nuanced and character-befitting tracks to keep the audience hooked when you could simply create drama by separating the leads and creating all this hype. Those solid initial 2-2.5 years cemented Kaira in the audience's hearts and got the shitty writing over a lot of really bad patches in the show. Abhira didn't get that. The fans can start ship wars and debate this to kingdom come but objectively speaking the writing team messed abhira up so bad I don't think a 2.0 can do anything to change that. You can just hope the increase in the drama/melodrama? quotient also works as an increase in the trps because if that doesn't happen you'll be forced to actually get down into the trenches and think.

That's so damn true.dhaniya bhola lovestory was beautiful in s1.though they were househelp.same with Maharaj ji wedding.these characters used to had their own story and conflicts .

Look now CVS focus only on leads.no other character have nothing to do except either being cheerleader of leads or being a roadblock in their 2 minute Maggie lovestory.

Whether it's kzk2 or s3 of yrkkh ,when makers do not develop characters properly and only focus on baseless romance .then show future is not very bright....

I can only speak for myself but I started treating those tracks as different shows or seasons. Like I stopped expecting continuity from the brain tumour track to the kaira/Keesh pregnancy/baby swap arc. That approach allowed me to enjoy most of the tracks (excluding the ones with Vedhika cause the whole two wives/fiancé thing isn’t something I understand cause he was basically cheating).

Vedika track was copied from kzk2 if I am not wrong , that time prerna fighting as dhaga wife against komo was a big hit. Yrkkh s2 was down in drains after vedika track. And kzk2 bhi🤣

Pregnancy track was still OK imo.at least it made a good debatable topic..like..the leads making wrong decisions out of helpless , something which isn't morally right..a dharamsankat what we call in hindi ..

It's totally bland , rushed , illogical ..akshu and abhimanyu, dono ek ek Kona pakad ke ro rahe hain ?? If trps don't rise , they will be bk again in 1.week. or they may have a divorce like kaira , writers are that stupid.

The ground for divorce or memory loss seem to be set. Biggest problem is writers ( whomsoever has helmed the pen) take a part from seasons and the rest is inspired from Ichche Nodee. For ex Maya, she definitely is similar to the psycho cousin from the Bengali OG. End result is not a perfectly balanced dish.
