Akshara is victim of mental abuse and is in need of medical help!

The way Akshara behaves seems to be the result of years of being mentally abused by Aarohi. I have a friend who was going through years of physical abuse by her husband and somehow she still went back to him. She kept saying she loved him. It took some serious medical counseling to get her out of this mode and she finally understood that the abuse she was facing was not her fault. It was not because she lacked something or she did something wrong.

Every time I see Akshara and Aarohi and every time I see Aarohi abusing her reminds me of my friend and I get goosebumps.

I know everyone thinks Abhimanyu will be super mad at Akshara for betraying him, but this is not betrayal. This is the result of abuse. This is how the victim behaves. I hope Abhimanyu being a Doctor can see through this and provide her medical help. This is the only way she will be rid of this abuse forever. Just like any other health issue, this is also a mental health issue and needs to be addressed professionally.

I too personally know many people who are still staying with the person who are mentally and physically abusive to them... in the name of love/ family/ society and etc... Akshara is definitely a victim here.. she needs to get help to get away from her toxic and abusive relationship with Arohi...I just hope the makers do justice to this topic and execute this properly...

U are right ..she has been tortured since childhood for the crime she has not even committed and now this has affected her mental health..i m hating makers for bringing this accident track right now..I m sure ak will not open her mouth because of her sister’s manipulation bt this all will spoil remaining ceremonies as she will be in huge guilt for hiding this from abhi..I m afraid of abhi’s reaction as he will definitely be heartbroken n might not even forgive her and sry bt his anger is justified..☹️

I would be thrilled if it is addressed appropriately and not just Abhi's angst that everyone loves! This is a super sensitive topic. Abuse by family is considered one of the worst forms of abuse and unfortunately the most common because the victim justifies it in the name of love. Considering Abhimanyu Birla is Doctor, I sincerely hope the makers address this as a sensitive topic.

Love this and I 100% agree i used know someone like arhu and its mentally draining...I wasn't the person receiving the abuse but i was trying to help the said person but it was pulling me into a mentally exhausting pit! I'm just worried makers don't see that and taking us for a ride! With no head no tail!

Yes, I am not liking some comments that call it out as Akshara's betrayal. When I went to pick up my friend after she was hit by her husband, even then she kept saying she fell on the bathroom floor. That's how bad the victim's mental state is. That is exactly where Akshara is.

Well if Abhi is really a Doctor plus a person who has seem his Mom being mentally and physically abused by his Father, he knows where Akshara is coming from. This calls for empathy both as a human being and more importantly as a Doctor.

Yes, it is very exhausting even as a caretaker. There were some days when I felt like telling my friend who has been abused well i am done with you. you don't want to help yourself, so even god cannot help you! It's really a case that cannot be treated by unqualified people like me. It is something that needs professional help.
